We had to take our cat, Nectar, to Holly House out of hours, and the care we received was exceptional. The team was professional, compassionate, and incredibly thorough, which made such a stressful situation a little easier to handle. They explained everything clearly and treated Nectar with such kindness and respect. It’s reassuring to know that such great care is available when you need it most. My dog Wally was very poorly and we almost lost him with a pneumonia and stomach issue. These are the best vets I've ever been to. Communication was clear/objective, and the caring is in the little things they did, like a nurse running to Tesco to get tuna to get him to eat at least something. Shout out to Francisco, Jenny, Katrina, Cathy, Tom, Dan and the ones I didn't get the name of. Everyone was outstanding.

The staff do an amazing job, I took a Woodcock in that flaw into the side of a building, sadly the bird didn't make it due to it's injury, but the staff we're amazing and do an amazing job looking after animals, thank you

So glad we signed up to Abbey House when shopping around for vets for our two kittens. The staff are always warm and welcoming and we've never had trouble getting appointments. The Pet Health for Life Plan is also a fantastic bonus. Highly recommend to all pet parents in Batley!

The vet was great with my anxious cat, who can become aggressive during consultations. He switched rooms to create a calming environment for him away from external noises.

Our dogs recently went in for their jabs one of them is usually quite nervous and will always bark when in the vets but not this time I’m not sure how she does it but Suzanna managed to keep both dogs calm they loved her and so did we she was fantastic you can really tell that she cares about your pets and loves her job both the ladies working on receptions we’re too very helpful.

Chantry Vets, Brindley way is a lovely, caring and friendly veterinary hospital. It is scrupulously clean and very well maintained. The staff are really kind and understanding and they are so lovely with my little Jasper. The care received is second to none, they are so helpful and take the time to explain procedures or after care. I would definitely recommend to friends and family!

We've got quite a few pets, and over time we needed to take some of our cats and dogs to get checked up or due to any other reasons. Each time the staff was helpful, professional and kind. We never needed to keep coming back what was administered was always good. If You are looking for a place where if need be your pet will get good care, this is the one!

My dog was so unwell that she was shivering/physically shaking, she had diarrhea, she was whining, and clearly very uncomfortable. The veterinarian very kindly interrupted her lunch break to see my dog more immediately on a Sunday when I rushed her to the hospital. She had high sodium levels, her gut was inflamed and full of gas, she was nauseous, not eating properly and dehydrated. The anti sickness injection, new probiotic, and diet plan have done wonders for her and she’s now out and about again - no whining on the bus because she isn’t nauseous anymore/getting any travel sickness because her gut health is generally better (no more diarrhea or sickness), and she is more focused and has more energy for games and agility. Please avoid communal water bowls folks, as gastroenteritis is going around. Thank you Chantry Vets! ❤️

Lovely friendly welcoming staff, very caring. They go above and beyond. They invited myself and Ted to just pop in for a chat and a treat, to help Ted familiarise himself so that he won't feel anxious when he has to come to see the vet.

I cannot express enough superlatives in this review to cover the care and attention pets receive with Abbey House Rothwell. We've been going there over 15 years with rodents and cats. Every pet is cared for as if it were their own, and as owners we are treated kindly and warmly. I've had to have pets put down before, and their kindness and compassion was endless. Their day to day care is exceptional. We will never use a different vet.

Excellent vets with great service from both the vet and admin team. Have been my vet of choice for 3 dogs now stretching back over nearly 20 years. Building is easy to reach, sharing an access road with the car wash, but with dedicated parking and a small grass area at the front. Ramp access to the front door is easy to manage for the mobility impared. Inside is clean, bright and airy, with toilets available and a small waiting area, including an area especially for those with smaller pets that is marked as a dog-free zone. Reception / admin staff are polite and helpful, greeting customers warmly and happy to say hello to pets and try to put them at ease. I've never had to wait more than a minute or two before being called into the examination rooms. All of the vets I've seen are equally nice, friendly and cheerful, and empathic towards the animals they're treating. The examination rooms are 'compact', but big enough for the job at hand, clean and tidy. Whenever I've taken my dogs in, the vet has always taken the time to try and treat them as kindly as possible, making sure there's a little treat to be had for each injection taken or for being poked and prodded - but it's little things like letting the dog take a moment to sniff the stethescope before they're checked over that I think makes going to the vet a non-traumatic experience for them. Vets have always been happy to discuss treatment options with me and make recommendations for their care, and the prices seem fair and reasonable in my experience. Strongly recommend.

Always amazing with our Bailey who's a 14 week old miniature dachshund. He doesn't get nervous visiting and they always take good care of him every time we visit! Always quick to see you and easy enough to book appointments. Managed to get one this morning by calling up at 8.30am to see if there were any appointments. Managed to get one at 10am which was amazing. Poor Bailey's anal glands were full and needed to be expressed but the vets took very good care of him.

Sad occasion. Our 15 year old cat had to go to sleep. The practice staff were very sympathetic and understanding as they have always been over the years we have been coming here. Would recommend 100 per cent!

A great experience for my first time at the vets with my kitten. The reception staff were warm and welcoming and the vet was super nice and friendly she handled my kitten very well who was very sassy and naughty. All in all a great place and super easy and convenient.

Absolutely amazing from the start. We're at the start of our plan for Boublis but from the referral from our vet to the speedy response of frank. pet surgeons, we were reassured and welcomed. Maria investigated Bou's issues and she was straight talking but also kind, we were bowled over by her knowledge and professionalism, and she was so lovely with Bou. We went in at 8:45 and we were back to collect him at 16:30 with a treatment plan to help him. Maria and all the team were exceptional, it's such a relief to know places like this exist to help our fur babies, no hidden costs and everything fully explained before you proceed. We can't thank everyone enough!

My dog woke up Monday morning completely paralysed on his back end, by 9.30 am he had been referred from my regular Vets to Frank, 12nn had an appointment with the incredible specialist surgeon, 12.30 a full CT of his Spine, then straight into theatre for surgery to be back in recovery by 4. Because of the speed and expertise of the team at frank, other than sporting a reverse mowhawk on his back you wouldn't think he wasn't at peak health ! I can't thank everyone enough for the kindness and compassion they showed both my dog and me. After being quoted 8-9k for several x-rays at our local vet we had franks recommend to us by a friend. Being around 50 miles from us I was a little sceptical. But after reading their great reviews and fixed pricing standards (without spending several thousand on x-ray's that probably wouldn't have found the problem!) we decided to try them out. We couldn't be more happier with how Annalisa diagnosed our dog, and how professional she was. After a well informed first meet she examined Myla and found the problem straight away (our vet's couldn't pinpoint the problem). She explained in detail that Myla had probably broke her back and would scan straight away. After a couple of hours we returned and the scan proved she was correct and explained exactly what had happened and how to treat Myla. We found Annalisa very professional and at a fraction of the price of our local vet. We cannot thank you enough for putting our minds at rest. Thank you.

Rushed my cat for emergency and have been seen as soon as we arrived. I was welcomed by friendly staff and vet was taking seriously her condition. They have good equipment in place for closer check up and could target on time abdominal leak which was deadly to my cat and emergency surgery was successfully performed. After 3 weeks she is recovered well and scar is healing well. I will be forever grateful to surgeon and team taking good care of my cat and for keeping me informed. People here truly care about pets and my cat’s behaviour shows she was comfortable being there when before she had big stress going to vets. She has been diagnosed with lymphoma and unfortunately our journey will continue with Cancer Care for pets in Huddersfield. I was offered the treatment here, but must to admit price was rock high, however, referral was made same day when requested. I trust this place and would recommend to others.

Can’t recommend enough, the vets/nurses and reception staff genuinely care about your pet and you. My pup needed emergency wound care and she was loved like she was their own. It made the whole experience so much less stressful and we could leave her in very safe hands. You are all amazing, thank you x

We lost our little staffy 'Stella' in August. Even though it was busy, the reception staff were absolutely brilliant. I personally want to thank the vet who looked after Stella and the family that day. Truly passionate about her work, cared for us (the owners), and a true support through one of the worst days of my life. Thank you all. We will forever be greatfull 👍

Popped in a spoke to them about our Nervous and Reactive Mali. He'd had a very bad experience at another vets while quite young which makes regular boosters etc difficult. Got to say that the vet and vet nursing staff were fantastic with him. Spending time to put him at ease. Even treating him in an open area rather than the confines of a consultation room. Very positive experience for both him and us.

Excellent place. Friendly staff, responded quickly to emails and through telephone call, appointments booked in advance to accommodate. Staff always willing to help or give an advice. Got puppy a good deal on vaccinations, micro chipping, de worming for bundle. Highly recommend

These vets are absolutely the best . They have looked after my dogs for 40 years . Recently my puppy was ill and Sue the vet quickly diagnosed a heart murmer , she quickly got a cardiologist to check him over. The cardiologist sue Roberts diagnosed a heart murmer and reassured me it was mild sue roberts and suethe vet are the nicest vets you could wish to meet . My 11 dogs have all been cared for so much . My other two boxer dogs had a life expectancy of 2 years , they lived until 12 under the care of Alistair brown sue and all the other vets nurses and receptionists.
