This practice is 100% the absolute best and most professional caring vets practice I have used in over 40 years of owning dogs. I cannot praise or recommend them highly enough.

We had Izzy our dog spayed here recently, she had her ten day check this Saturday morning and was signed off. It is the first time that we have used White Cross, after our regular Vet of forty years recently retired. White Cross will certainly be my place of choice in the future and I highly recommend them. From start to finish we received an impeccable professional and friendly service.

Best local vets hands down! Any problem I have had with my Franko they have been amazing. The reception team are all so lovely and welcoming on entry & over the phone and then Alex & Rachel have both helped massively get to the route of the problem with Franko from allergies to neck pain. I’ve been meaning to write a review for a while now!! I honestly don’t know how else to describe White Cross Vets other than amazing. Each and every staff member wether that be Vets, Nurses or Receptionists, are absolutely brilliant. They all have such a kind and caring nature and it just makes the entire experience at WCV so lovley. You are always greeted with a smile, no matter how busy it can be sometimes. Skye has seen pretty much everyone who works at White Cross Vets I think🤣 and they have given her the most amazing, high standard of care every single visit. I literally couldn’t have asked for better people to take care of my little baby. Everyone truly has gone above and beyond to help Skye. When your pet is poorly, if you’re anything like me and they are your absolute world, then it’s just the hardest, most worrying thing ever. However, each an every staff member just have so much love to give to all the animals that enter their practice that it instantly reduces that fear and panic. They all absolutely love Skye and I love that they are so kind and gentle with her and that they never make you feel silly for asking lots of questions or for worrying. They are always so quick to get you an appointment and really do look after you and your pet. Skye has seen Rachel a lot recently and she really is lovley and thoroughly checks Skye, reassuring me in the process. She always looks after Skye and is so patient and caring with her. Skye absolutely LOVES Erena and I’m certain Skye has stolen a piece of her heart too🩷 I wouldn’t take Skye anywhere else. We appreciate you not giving up on her when she was really really poorly and for everything you have done and continue to do for us. You have been nothing but perfect. I couldn't ask for a better , more thorough vet than Emily Legate. The surgery is amazing and the staff are highly knowledgeable and very reasonably priced which is an added bonus but ultimately I use this veterinary surgery because I had a years worth of unsolved issues with my prescious boys ear, in one visit we had swabs taken then discovered he had a deformed ear canal in the offending ear , then he was booked in swiftly for an ear flush under anesthetic, Emily filmed the ear canal and debris in it ,for me to better understand the situation with his ear. I can't praise these guys enough and they have my recommendation to any one who wants caring, thorough up to date and highly trained veterinary care . It's a big thumbs up from me and Roman dog. I wish I could put 10 stars !!

I'd just had a bad experience with another vet practice (not in Otley). I was nervous about trying another after moving, but I couldn't have felt more reassured. The staff were so lovely! I wasn't rushed, the vet went out of their way to make my cat feel comfortable, and gave me lots of great advice. So grateful to have such caring, professional and reasonably priced vet practice nearby who truly put animals before all else. Can't recommend them enough.

I absolutely love this vet. It's independent and works with the owner to care for their ill animal. It's not just about money. The vets are very nice and the receptionist always books me in very quickly. She also deals with me freaking out over email quite a few times (sorry but thank you). I really love this little vet practice. It's how all vets should be run.

We have been bringing our pets here for years, and we keep using cross green vets. Worming, jabs, and any concerns they have been great.

Excellent vets with great service from both the vet and admin team. Have been my vet of choice for 3 dogs now stretching back over nearly 20 years. Building is easy to reach, sharing an access road with the car wash, but with dedicated parking and a small grass area at the front. Ramp access to the front door is easy to manage for the mobility impared. Inside is clean, bright and airy, with toilets available and a small waiting area, including an area especially for those with smaller pets that is marked as a dog-free zone. Reception / admin staff are polite and helpful, greeting customers warmly and happy to say hello to pets and try to put them at ease. I've never had to wait more than a minute or two before being called into the examination rooms. All of the vets I've seen are equally nice, friendly and cheerful, and empathic towards the animals they're treating. The examination rooms are 'compact', but big enough for the job at hand, clean and tidy. Whenever I've taken my dogs in, the vet has always taken the time to try and treat them as kindly as possible, making sure there's a little treat to be had for each injection taken or for being poked and prodded - but it's little things like letting the dog take a moment to sniff the stethescope before they're checked over that I think makes going to the vet a non-traumatic experience for them. Vets have always been happy to discuss treatment options with me and make recommendations for their care, and the prices seem fair and reasonable in my experience. Strongly recommend.

Sad occasion. Our 15 year old cat had to go to sleep. The practice staff were very sympathetic and understanding as they have always been over the years we have been coming here. Would recommend 100 per cent!

Always amazing with our Bailey who's a 14 week old miniature dachshund. He doesn't get nervous visiting and they always take good care of him every time we visit! Always quick to see you and easy enough to book appointments. Managed to get one this morning by calling up at 8.30am to see if there were any appointments. Managed to get one at 10am which was amazing. Poor Bailey's anal glands were full and needed to be expressed but the vets took very good care of him.

A great experience for my first time at the vets with my kitten. The reception staff were warm and welcoming and the vet was super nice and friendly she handled my kitten very well who was very sassy and naughty. All in all a great place and super easy and convenient.

The staff do an amazing job, I took a Woodcock in that flaw into the side of a building, sadly the bird didn't make it due to it's injury, but the staff we're amazing and do an amazing job looking after animals, thank you

We had to take our cat, Nectar, to Holly House out of hours, and the care we received was exceptional. The team was professional, compassionate, and incredibly thorough, which made such a stressful situation a little easier to handle. They explained everything clearly and treated Nectar with such kindness and respect. It’s reassuring to know that such great care is available when you need it most. After waking up to find my 23 year old African Grey very weak and in respiratory distress I rang round trying to find an emergency avian vet appointment. After being advised he needed to go into hospital we made the trip to Holly House. Everybody was amazing, explaining everything, keeping us informed about his progress and the cost at all times. I was happy he was in good hands. He made a rapid recovery and I would like to thank everyone for taking care of him.

Receptionists are so lovely and friendly, Jennifer is a really lovely vet, always listens to the owner and takes her time to help you. Her experience and professionalism shines through. In my years I have seen many vets owning Dogs and horses. It's lovely to have a vet that's friendly, has an amazing way with the dog and is very experianced. All the vets are lovely and caring I have seen at Yorkshire vets but Jennifer is the one I will see if I can win my two dogs. Good experience throughout

Absolutely fantastic staff, did there hardest to comfort me as I had to have my dog put to sleep and also gave me a paw print pic and some fur in a little bottle, I was over the moon with that

My daschund is extremely anxious in the vets, I was thinking they wouldn't get him to cooperate with having his annual vaccines but the vetinary nurse calmed him, he didn't require a muzzle, which is the source of his anxiety, and he did cooperate. I'm grateful that the staff were patient. Thank you.

We have been with Ashlands for over 13 years, but never have we needed them more than we did this past week. What we thought was a straightforward procedure took an unexpected turn, and Nala had other plans. After a very scary few days, the incredible care and attention from the entire team at Ashlands brought our bouncy Nala back to us.
