My old dog Sox is always happy to visit this vets. They are all friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

Absolutely amazing, the receptionist was so kind! I just rescued a kitten, and I needed to get him checked, they got me an appointment the same day! Was really really impressed!

Very kind. Everyone was very polite. The staff answered my every question. And when it came to putting my pet to sleep they were very considerate and sympathetic I new she was given the best care up to the end and after.

I would like to thank all the vets, nurses and staff for looking after us in our hour of need. Our beautiful boy Harry didn't make it but he had the best care and was treated with love and respect. We can't thank you enough. ❤️

Nick and the team have been fantastic with our dog, who wasn't always the easiest patient 🤣. We were seen quickly when needed and Nick went above and beyond trying to find a diagnosis and meet our dogs complex needs. At the end, he was treated with much compassion and kindness.

When we lived in Selby we used the Dam Vets. The staff are so friendly and professional and our dog Teddy received excellent care. The price was reasonable for services too. Would recommend to anyone local to the Selby area.

Vets appointments can be traumatic for pets and owners but the staff always make sure everyone is comfortable. When we lost our cat they have offered as much compassion and help as they could. They truly cared for him when he was still alive and when we had to say good bye they were so professional and delicate. All the staff are always very helpful and polite. We’ve never had a problem with accommodating appointments even in emergency situation. Highly recommended vet!

Once again Abbey House didn't let me down! I've been bringing my pets here for over 30yrs & travel a round trip of 30 miles - I couldn't even think of taking my pets anywhere else! All the staff are lovely from the warm greeting at reception to the wonderful vets & last night I met one of the cleaning staff who was also lovely! Thank you for caring for our animals the way you do.

First time visiting since we moved to the area. Very welcoming when we arrived and the vet was excellent with keeping my cat calm. Really pleased with the detailed explanations and clarity of pricing. Happy to have such a reassuring vet clinic in the area! Standard of care is excellent. Opening times are limited but can usually get an appointment within a couple of days. Very pushy with medication and always seem to prescribe something. Pet plan seems a good option to save money.

Took my sick bunny Noel into the surgery at Brayton. Could not have received better service. In particular Angie, Dawn & Emily were just fabulous, nothing was too much trouble. Not the first time, won't be the last, but good to know the team are there to help in the most dire of situations. Thank you

Just read the 1 star reviews and this is really sad for the owners of the pets, sorry you had these experiences. My dog was involved in a car accident - she was hit by a car and we were referred by emergency to Swift by our local Vet, the staff; from reception staff through to the expert vet’s who carried out the operation were absolutely amazing. Compassionate, caring, thorough & attentive - we were quite worried obviously and were never off the phone while Willow our dog stayed with swift, the staff sent regular updates and photos of her, it was never too much trouble. 10/10 from us. Highly recommend BIG thanks from us and Willow!

SWIFT Emergency service. Well in our hour of need, these guys turned up trumps. Very kind staff. Very obliging with our personal needs. Great facility. I had no hesitation leaving my dog Murphy there for overnight meds & recuperation. Thank you so very much.

We have our precious girl Bella at Swifts, where she is being treated for cancer. The vet, Bethan, all the nurses and the front of house staff are just amazing. We know how this jounery will eventually end with Bella but the care and treatment that Bella is receiving to prolong her life is just incredible. The loving care for Bella and us as a family is the best anyone could ever wish for. Such an incredible team. ❤️

Can't recommend Swift enough. Echoing other reviews, they made a really upsetting time a lot easier and the care they provided to Violet was amazing. When she had to stay overnight after surgery, we phoned at all hours to check on her and every member of staff we spoke to was so kind and helpful. When we went to collect her you could tell she had been taken great care of as she didn't want to leave the staff member! Also very quick with sending over all of our relevant documents to our insurer. Would definitely recommend. Big thank you to Andrea and the nurse team!

Review from our visit in October. We managed to get a last minute appointment to see the Vet with our poorly hamster. Unfortunately she had to be put down but the Vet we saw was very compassionate and allowed us time to say goodbye which was much appreciated by my daughter. We also got a sympathy card through the post the following week which I thought was a lovely touch. Would highly recommend.

find the vets --and -assistants all very helpfully verry nolagable yes it's expensive but it's your choice if you wish to go ahead with the offered treatment

Knowledgeable and helpful vets practice, I did the puppy program which was excellent and then signed up to the monthly plan for our dog covering check ups and regular worming / flea treatments. Works well and nice to have the cost spread across the year rather than a bill I have to pay each time

We've been a few times for general checkups & injections. Always busy which says a lot but always managed to get an appointment. Great place every one has always been really nice. I do also like the cat & dog waiting areas that have a partition so the dogs don't get excited when they see the cats and helps keep the cat stress levels down a bit.

Back today with Kooahie to be neutered, chipped etc. All my little furr babies come here A wonderful place Superb staff Lovely place to take our beloved furr babies Love they run elderly pet clinics that give peace if mind or detect any issue Fantastic services! Klaus went with his brother and sister to get their inoculations Lovely people Fantastic services, Highly reccomend Klaus goes back soon for his last jab and neutering Sadly Klaus is no longer with us 😿

I cannot recommend End Cottage enough, they have made my bunnies better countless times, when I’ve had to come in with an emergency they’ve seen us straight away, the staff are lovely and they really care about them, thank you for all your work!

I have been with Purple vets for around 5 or 6 years now with my 2 cats. The staff and vets have always had my best interests. The nurses there have always been so friendly and when I’ve called for advice they’ve been able to give a helping hand. One of my cats was recently diagnosed with cancer and as pain relief and steroids weren’t helping the size of the mass I asked for advice on other options. They referred me to paragon. It may have not been the positive result I hoped for but they still went above and beyond to make sure I got the answers I needed. When my cat had to be PTS they were there and there was no rush, I was able to say my last goodbyes to my dear old friend before she went over the rainbow bridge. They were very empathetic and supportive throughout the process. I always gave them a call if I needed advice. Consultations are free and everyone is very friendly. I would definitely recommend using Purple vets to others. Thank you for helping me through a very difficult time.

Lovely small vets, so your pet isn't mixing with lots of other animals. Which is great if you have a nervous pet. The staff are amazing, you can tell they love animals. They are knowledgeable and always happy to give advice. You feel your pet comes first, not money like some vets.
