It's 5 starrs from me. The food was expertly prepared and the service was professional. These students straight out of school are doing an excellent job. I wish them all well in their chosen career path. Our server Olly was very very good

Only their second day of service, and I totally forgot they are students! Fantastic customer service, even offering to take a photo so I could be in it! The food was amazing, and I would definitely recommend it.

Amazing! I almost don't want to spoil a local secret. Food all prepared, cooked and served by students to their utmost best, very impressive for students almost straight out of school. The bar staff prepared cocktails to a standard as good as a well known local airport hotel! The overall attention to detail would put many restaurants to shame. The taster menu is excellent. Well done to all!

Fantastic tasting menu and service. Will definitely be back. My vegetarian wife was catered for also with some delicious alternatives.

Easy to online order , had to collect as we are just outside the delivery zone (I would have gladly paid extra on top of the normal delivery charge to have this service). Food was ready on the agreed time and was excellent. Hot, flavour was great and containers filled to the brim. Good meat to veg ratio. Efficient polite young lady on the till. It's been many years since I had a decent Chinese takeaway and this hit the spot. Nothing I would say was less then excellent (and I am particularly fussy with food quality).

I really wish I had taken photos to add to this review as this Chinese is without question the BEST in the area! My partner always leaves something when we get Chinese take out as he has a standard when it comes to food, well I can say that his plate was cleared. All the food arrived hot and tasted fresh, The salt and pepper chicken was still crispy and not sweaty in the tub, the ‘crispy’ shredded beef was also crispy. There is nothing we ordered that we wouldn’t order again. The price was fair and the delivery time was also good. The lady who delivered was really nice. Please never drop your standards as you have secured customers for life. 5***** to the BEST Chinese by far.

Really lovely place! Visited for the first time, really accommodating with allergies and staff had good knowledge of menu items. Food was really good quality, fresh ingredients! Tikka burger was INSANE. My only negative would be the toilets need a freshen up!

We had a Christmas party over here and the ambience was amazing. The organization was amazing. The food was amazing. They kept the menu to a number of things that was very very useful for the entire audience. The lounge area is perfect for networking events. Great projector and superb music and sound systems. We will keep coming again and again.

Great Indian food. It is more authentic than a traditional Indian restaurant. The spices in the foods were strong but not overwhelming. The service was polite and professional. Ambika and karthik were both friendly and courteous. A place to enjoy good Indian food.

Absolutely delightful meal in a beautiful venue. Had the crab claws, tricolor and tuna. Cooked to perfection. Wonderful hospitality. Will most certainly return soon for more home made 'boozy' tiramisu.

Great restaurant in a former Midlands Bank. Great food and attentive waiters. Considering how busy they were we didn't have to wait too long either.

Just a nice place to go. Nice people nice food. Dishes not salty (unlike Zizzi) and nicely balanced. Sweet trolley comes around at the end with a good selection of yumminess. Best to get there before 1900 as the place was full when we left around 2000. Good buzz, good vibe, good range of people. Music fine and not obtrusive. Pizza oven great to watch.

We booked the Secret Escapes Dinner, Bed and Breakfast last minute and it was well worth it. Welcoming cocktail was a Mango and Amaretto, very warming and refreshing. Room was overlooking the airport and felt very luxurious. Would have liked a bath but the rainfall shower was a good consolation. Room refreshments were of really good quality. Bed was lovely, mattress really comfy. 2 different sized pillows though which was my only criticism. Good choices fo dinner and service was really personable. One of the waiters dropped a glass of wine on my wife but it was absolutely no big deal, we were really impressed with how they responded. 2 glasses of wine free each and took off the dinner supplements. Breakfast was delish, so much choice and we left very happy. Perfect night away

Absolutely blew us away, easy to see why it's the 2nd best rated hotel in the country by TripAdvisor. Masterpiece of design, very classy all round, amazing Sky Suite with a balcony watching over the planes taking off and landing. Excellent food from the brasserie and loved the sky bar. What a treat!

I have recently visited The Aviator and enjoyed a wonderful Christmas party, fantastic food, and a great night's sleep in an impeccably clean room. The food was top-notch, a great selection of music to dance the night away. The decor and entertainment were fantastic. The staff were so friendly and helpful from the moment you arrived to checkout. I highly recommend this hotel.

I have been traveling here for work for the better part of this year. And the Aviator Hotel always delivers exceptional service. Form check in to check out this has been a fantastic location. On site restaurants and bars have a great selection of food and drinks. The morning breakfast buffet is a 10/10 as well. Beds are comfortable and rooms are very quiet. If you're lucky to get an airport view you can watch the jets depart and land.

The staff were great. Emily is adorable. The food was good but could be improved. The decor needs an update and refreshing. I’m thinking that with some more attention to the decor this pub could become a lot busier than it was at lunchtime today. Beer was perfect.

We had a Community celebration for 16 people at the Thatched Cottage on 27th January 2025 and it was fantastic. We pre - booked and had an entire section reserved for our group. The Service from Grace and Jack serving us was faultless. The pub Landlord even came to introduce himself to us and to make sure that we were all enjoying our visit. The quality of the food was amazing. We expected 'pub food' but this was so much more. Every one of our group was blown away by just how good the food was. This was an absolutely awesome evening that we will all remember. The Thatched Cottage Farnborough will definitely be our go to venue for future special evenings and I would wholeheartedly recommend it as a truly special pub to visit when in Farnborough. - 10/10.

Had a Sunday roast here. The lamb shank was delicious, and those were the best Yorkshire puds I've had at a pub in a very long time. Very helpful and attentive staff. Worth a visit, and I'll go back!

A great local pub to go meeting your friends whether if it’s having a drink or having lunch and dinner. There are also events that take place including Quiz Nights, Christmas theme, Halloween theme, Easter theme and Major Sport Events which I like a lot; they always do a good job there. I like the staff. Food is great, expensive though but decent food. A great pub going to!

The Frog: A Fantastic Find! We recently dined at The Frog and were thoroughly impressed. The venue itself is fantastic, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was truly outstanding, with each dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. To top it off, the service was impeccable – attentive, friendly, and efficient. We highly recommend The Frog to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

No cash accepted. Unless the systems go down then suddenly they can somehow accept it. Big car park with some electric car chargers in some of the bays. Beautiful decor inside. Really nice ambience. Young, friendly and efficient servers took and delivered our orders. The service for our table of eight was exemplary. A good selection of delicious badger ales are available for any CAMRA enthusiasts. The food was well presented and pretty good. Three of the party opted for lamb medallions . Very tasty but tough, was the verdict. The pizza base was a little underdone. My sirloin steak was ok. Medium rare as requested. The cheese board was well presented and really enjoyable. The coffee/mini puddings offer great value.

This place is on my list of top 3 restaurants in Britain that I have visited. Very tasty food, incredible live building, the restaurant is bursting with soul. Perfect for a date night or dinner with the family.

The best Sunday roast we’ve had in a long time. We’ve lived a few miles away for about 20 years and this was our first visit. I wish we’d found it sooner! Great wholesome and tasty food, in a calm and welcoming environment. The mushroom wellington was absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be back. I even checked out the toilets which were spotless and fresh.

It is not very often you find a little gem of a local pub that has everything in place to make your visit and experience one to remember fondly. The staff were very welcoming, attentive, and happy to assist in your choices. We had a starter, the steak for a main, and dessert. All was beautiful cooked, well presented, and served quickly. The covered outside eating area gives a lovely atmosphere, and we will be happy to return.

I really like this pub, the menu is "proper" and the staff are really nice. Roast dinner wasn't great today (my friend had it), but the fish and chips were very nice and the desserts are great value and really yummy. Sticky toffee is lush...not sure if it's homemade but...very tasty. I just wish it was served in a bowl! Chips were delicious

Lovely little traditional pub. Have lunched here quite a few time and have never had any issues. Service is perfect, staff are attentive and helpful. Food selection is great, prices even now are still reasonable. Food itself is delicious, chips with blue cheese is to die for 😋 Drink selection is brilliant. Lots to try and a lot of local breweries seem to have offerings here and they’re all served in lovely clean glassware. One of my favourites is the Hazy Hog cider.

I went with a group of seven other friends for a Christmas get together. This is a great place to eat a cafe style meal. I had the big breakfast which came with sausages, bacon, hash browns, baked beans, mushrooms and black pudding as well as two slices of toast. We also had pigs in blankets and mince pies. The setting is good and the place busy when we arrived at around 12:30. Despite this the service was good and£ we weren’t hassled to eat up and leave. In warmer weather you could sit out on the terrace overlooking the lake. It’s a little difficult to find as it’s ‘off the beaten track’ down a private road, but it’s definitely worth a visit. What a great find! Lunch food - we had tuna baked potato and brie & cranberry panini - were delicious and freshly prepared (but very speedily served), followed by coffee and chocolate cake. Coffees good too! Some vegetarian choices and gluten-free cake options & milk alternatives available for coffees. High chairs and junior menu available. All on one level and a toilet for disabilities. Location is off the beaten track but definitely worth the bumpy road approach. The 'Eatery' overlooks the lake (plentiful seating, both inside and out) which had a variety of birds to view. Staff friendly and tables cleared very quickly. Prices reasonable and good value. It did become quite busy, so I'd book in future, although we just dropped in!

The service was attentive, and the ambiance inside the restaurant was comfortable. However, one area for improvement is the restroom facilities. While the restrooms were clean and well-maintained, they were noticeably cold, which made the experience less comfortable. The temperature difference from the rest of the restaurant was quite stark. This could be easily addressed by adjusting the heating system in that area or using portable heaters during colder months. Adding weatherstripping or insulation around doors and windows could also help keep the warmth in. A more budget-friendly solution might be installing a self-closing hinge on the main door to ensure it stays shut after use. Addressing this issue would enhance the overall comfort and better align with the standards the restaurant already upholds.
