Wow what a find, staying at a nearby hotel before our flight in the morning. Initial thoughts was it was an empty village pub …. Ordered. Drinks from a lovely friendly bar man, asked for a menu and delighted to find a lot of the menu was Indian❤️ we ordered starters which were delightful, and I had a superb Lamb Vindaloo my husband a tandori chicken cooked in the tandoor it was superb. The service was great ordered drinks at the bar but placed our food order from the table. Plentiful car parking at the back of the pub in private car park and an hour later the pub is nicely filling up so not the empty village pub I first thought it was….. will definitley come back next time we fly from Gatwick…. A gem of a find

I am away on business staying in a hotel nearby so found this pub for dinner. Wasn’t sure how I felt when I saw it was an Indian menu BUT WOW WOW WOW! I had the fish curry which was delicious and so aromatic, saffron pilau rice and a roti. Stunning! Thank you, I will be back when next in the area on business 🙏🥰

Having moved several hours away from the area nearly 15 years ago, I remember when this was an undesirable, run down Hungry Horse pub. We have recently returned twice when visiting family who are still local to the area and both times we have been delighted not only with the huge improvements made to the pub/restaurant, but also with the excellent, attentive and welcoming service and quite simply the best Indian food we have ever had. Absolutely mindblowingly delicious. It is clearly prepared with passion and care, and it is served with pride. There is a very varied, mouthwatering menu of all sorts of Indian food from the usual favourites through to more unusual Indian food. There is also a smaller selection of typical pub food on the menu. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options available. Very highly recommended if you love Indian cuisine. We will certainly return when next in the area and would even make a special trip just to come here. Also - the restaurant and bathrooms are immaculately clean. Lots of parking available at the back of the building or on the roads outside. Dog friendly. Easy to find on the main road through the village. Possibly a little quiet at off peak times, but for us that isn't an issue.

Spontaneous trip for my nans 80th - food was 10/10 we loved all of it! The staff were so amazing and went above and beyond for us so the birthday girl felt special! Will definitely return!
