From California, my girlfriend and I wanted a solid early lunch so we went in a little after opening. Was greeted by mileeka and she was extremely helpful and kind. Also, was playing some vibeful music to go with our drinks and food. Besides the good atmosphere and bartending, the food was absolutely phenomenal. I got the fish and chips and my lady got the steak and frites with peppercorn gravy... To say the least, everything was tremendous! Sadly we leave tomorrow, but could be back tonight. Cheers from the bay area.
We popped in on Christmas day as the hotel we had booked lied about their food and drink menu online. The barman originally said we couldn't have food (fair enough it is Christmas day!) Then he heard about our hotel. He talked to the kitchen and let us stay for dinner, all with a smile on his face! Quick service and a lovely staff. Highly recommend.
Incredible time at Halt & Pull!! Flawless service - our waiter/bartender was so lovely and kindly advised us on the menu. The food was to die for - it was that good we may well take a train trip down to go back later in the year! Really fantastic and wish this was my local pub! Special mention for the calamari and steaks.
We booked a table for 5:30pm at the Halt & Pull on 6/19/24. We were seated right away and the staff were all very welcoming. The menu had a good variety of options and a fantastic selection of drinks. It's a dog-friendly pub. The prices were reasonable, the food was tasty, the portions were generous, and the atmosphere was fantastic. A perfect place to grab a drink and a meal with friends.
Halt and Pull has truly become my go-to spot! The food is consistently fantastic, and Terry and George's attentive service adds a special touch. The diverse drink choices and the overall inviting atmosphere make every visit a delightful experience. Highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
