I recently dined at Mithras, a Turkish restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with beautiful Turkish decor that set the tone for a great meal. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed without being intrusive. The food was delicious—each dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. We started with a mix of mezze, which included creamy hummus, baba ghanoush, and fresh pita bread, all of which were excellent. For the main course, we had the sharing platter which included lamb kebabs, chicken wings, lamb chops and chicken shish, all cooked to perfection and seasoned beautifully. Overall, it was a great dining experience with good service and authentic flavors. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy Turkish cuisine!

We went there on Christmas eve and took the special menu they offered for £29.95. It was a good choice. For your main meal, you had different options to choose from. It included fish and meat. I selected the mixed grill, and it was more than enough, and the selection was great.

What a great experience. The service was really spot on. Greeted at the door by the waitress and got a nice table. Seating was comfortable and the overall environment inside was really nice. Not overboard but really well done. The music was on light enough to hear and not be overwhelmingly loud. Ordered drinks right away and an appetizer that came out quickly and was quite enjoyable. The meals themselves came out in a timely manner. We never felt rushed or anxious about getting our food, or being rushed to eat. We got two different chicken meals and both were moist and delicious and really didn’t need any sauces although I did use some of the garlic and chili sauce, quite sparingly because the taste was really on point. Got an order of sutlac for desert and it was plentiful to split between two of us. Closed the meal off with some Turkish tea that was quite delightful. I have two days left in London and you can count on my last meal being here.

Went for dinner on a Friday and the welcome was really warm and friendly. Although there was a big group, it wasn't too loud and the music was pleasant in the background. We ordered the 2-4-1 Guava breeze, Ackee saltfish rolls, pepper roti and a jerk platter to share. There was a lot of food and everything was really tasty. The meat was nicely cooked and the slaw was refreshing (not salty or sickly sweet). I also enjoyed tasting all the sauces on the table. Will definitely come back and try more food.

Loved it here. Great vibes really really good drinks and staff so kind. Our server Henry was great, good laugh and made sure we enjoyed everything. Deffo coming again

Great place and excellent customer service, Henry was serving me and my friends and he was lovely, very friendly and caring. Henry was asking if we are alright and if we need anything quite often what was appreciated. Food is absolutely delicious 👌🏼 Music and vibes on point, would 100% recommend this place to visit 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Really lovely pub tucked somewhere calm and peaceful, perfect place to enjoy a pint on a sunny day. Food was really good, roast dinner was perfect. I was disappointed with the calamari as the portion was tiny; not worth paying that much for that little. Other than that; a perfect ‘country’ pub!

Booked a Sunday birthday meal for 4 (a 1 year old and a vegan in the group). The staff were excellent, took our orders early and checked on us quite alot to make sure we were happy with the service. (I could only take pics of the mocktails as the baby took my phone). We had the childs roast (enough to satisfy a small adult), the beetroot Wellington (quoted - the best roast option ever), sirloin steak with chunky chips & the trio roast. Everything from the yorkies, meats and potatoes were cooked to perfection, portion size was perfect, clean plates all round. For dessert we had the brownie, crumble and the star dessert...vegan chocolate orange cake with honeycomb ice cream. Finished off with a lovely black coffee. The location is lovely, the pub is beautiful with plenty of parking.

Went here for Sunday lunch with mum, used to go over 20 years ago for a quiet drink, and it was a proper country pub, small low ceilings, and local farmer types. Now it's had an extremely good extension and has opened up to the garden with loads of seating, big car park. Family dog friendly. Staff are accommodating as didn't book. Food was divine and reasonably priced for the quality we got.

It's certainly different! Food from around the world with tables set out down the centre of the place. A bar at the far end and a dj near the front with a big screen. I went on bank holiday Monday and there was a quiz night with lots of prizes including food from some of the places. I had mixed grill with fries from the Afghanistan bit and it came on a flat piece of wood and the steak was succulent and juicy. Would definitely go again.

I really enjoy coming here, I like the atmosphere when there is an event and is calm. Live band this Saturday, great band playing very interactive with the public. There was also football on before the band and its was full at this point bur and enjoyable atmosphere. There are various food places that are affordable and there is security all round. The cleaners are fantastic and polite keeping everything on point for us all to visit. There is male and female 🚻 toilets to use, generally speaking clean and there is also a bar that turns into club after certain time. Look for events on specific days. There poetry, R&B vibes, karaoke or special dj... Children and exercise events. Concerts. Look out for events and you sure to plan an enjoyable fun day.

Good place to catch with friends or meet up with colleagues at lunch time if you work in the area. Lots of different options and fairly good quality food. I have tried thai, grill, pizza, jerk and roti, burritos and bagels! I don’t think you can get your meal under £10.

Very good food with the freindliest of service couldn't want more. From A simple tea cake to a Steak dinner or roast dinner or a fry up, very good vegetable burger or jacket potatoes they have something for any one, any mood or time of day. Super deserts. It's a cafe, a restraunt Can get noisy when very busy but they can't help that.

Breakfast fit for a king! The food was really good tasty! And made just how you like it, great and efficient service! And plus there milkshakes are out of this world! 100% recommend!

Lovely little cafe. Met a friend for a coffee, and to my surprise the place was nearly full of customers. The lady at the counter is really nice and friendly. The service was great and it feels very cosy inside. The Deco is modern but tasteful. Lots of nice paintings all over, but not too many. They have an outdoor area at the back which is nice and quiet. I didn't eat anything, but the menu on the board sounded delicious. I will try it and give you an update on this. The prices seem to be reasonable, and if you fancy a little walk after lunch there is a lovely park and a pond just surrounding the cafe. Definitely worth a visit if you are around!

Bartender Sal made me and my girlfriend amazing drinks with a smile, exceptional service and great food from Chef Moe. Perfect place for a Birthday Lunch.

Went here for a work Christmas do. Attentive staff and great quality food. Also a good variety of drinks available. The interior was 'decked-out' for the holidays, and there was plenty of room. The furniture is sturdy and I am guessing is pure oak. There is a rear garden attached and the facilities were clean and well maintained. Would recommend this place highly, and would definitely book again. I was not able to get pictures of the whole of the 3 course meal ordered as the food barely touched the table before wolfed down, it was so good. The dish pictured is Honey Roast Parsnip Soup, which was part of the festive set menu.

Had my fantastic birthday 🎂 🥳 party at The Tree House Croydon and it was AMAZING 👏. From the planning stage Aaron was so accommodating and helpful so I could execute my ideas. His recommendations were superb and was very thorough in planning to ensure I had a success. On the day, wow everything came into plan properly. Aiden was a real trooper; he assisted with my decor and made suggestions that were useful. He ensured the food was on time, the music was right and just helped to create a whole vibe. 👌 I would like to express my gratitude to these two and their team as the hostesses were friendly and even when an issue arose they were professional. Thank you again for making my birthday 🎂 🥳 epic!

Good spoons. Normal in terms of interior. Smoking in the back is a bit odd as some tables are no smoking. The food is normal spoons food but it was cooked hot and tasted nice. Desserts were good too.

A nice little local Wetherspoons, which is perfect for breakfast. Staff are always friendly, welcoming and helpful. And the food menu offers good value for money. The pub can get busy in the evenings and weekends, however is normally peaceful early on during the day.

We have just been to the pub for the first time, myself my partner and his 14 year old twin boys. It was heaving busy, but the atmosphere was friendly, and the staff were welcoming. We found an empty table in the garden which, although rammed, was well presented with some beautiful plants and flowers. We did a table order using the app and was a bit dubious due to how busy it was how good the food or service would be, but were more than pleasantly surprised that the food came out within 15 minutes, was absolutely delicious, the staff were accommodating despite being rushed off their feet and the atmosphere, far from the expected ‘boozer on a Friday night’ was friendly and welcoming. My favourite Wetherspoons yet. Well done guys 5 stars well deserved

Had a lovely experience at the crown today! Booked a baby shower with for my sister in law and it all went amazing. Lovely food & atmosphere. Big shoutout to Samuel, Jermaine & Paige and Lisa who went above and beyond for all of us! Xxx

Great food and great prices!! The service was super friendly and welcoming. Catered to our allergies and more The only con I would say which we didn’t mind about actually was that’s we went on a Saturday late afternoon / evening so was expecting more from atmosphere; live music, band, etc

Really relaxed vibe and helpful staff. Service was quick, staff were able to recommend items from the food menu and everyone was really friendly. Food was served quickly and was good quality for the price. Would definitely recommend!
