We had a really tasty Sunday lunch here, the food was great and the service was great. It was very noisy, with a live singer on. Some people will like that and I don't think it's every week, but it was a bit loud for Sunday lunch, for me.

Right little gem of a village pub, under new management- please don’t alter the quaint feel but a little refresh of the menu away from the pub staples to locally sourced seasonal produce and this place would be a gold mine - clean up the decor and remove the less traditional fixtures and fittings - the food we had was excellent btw and all reasonably priced too

Lovely Sunday Roast at the George (well super burger for my Son) Service excellence very attentive without being ott and really polite team Food delicious and I would recommend the Sunday Roast. We all had the topside Beef option served with a nice veg selection The building is charming and only quibble is the restrooms need some tlc An afternoon well spent ….

Went for lunch with a friend, lovely food as always. They always do a great selection of vegetables. Great staff who go above and beyond. Friend has complex medical needs and involuntary movement. They dropped food on the floor, staff were very understanding. Also came running after us with a handbag that was forgotten.

Stopped in passing whilst out on a ride. Very friendly pub! Strangers are welcome, Bikers are as welcome, and as I saw for myself, dogs are also welcome in the bar area. Outdoor seating is also available. Good range of beers, wines and spirits and the food is well presented, generously portioned, reasonably priced and above all, absolutely delicious!

Fantastic meal tonight. Group of 4 for a birthday meal. Food/ service great. Beautifully cooked and hot..was pretty quiet as it was a Monday night. Definitely go again. Our friend which has a lot of allergies was well catered for. Staff were very helpful

Ordered a takeaway last minute and even though it was close to closing time they was still happy to drive out and deliver. It was honestly one of the best takeaways I’ve had in a long time, not one thing I could fault. Will definitely be ordering again, great service and even better food
