Seen this new place was packed couldn’t get a table wait was long so asked for snack to take away. The bao buns were an absolute treat soft, fluffy, and perfectly paired with the crispy, flavorful chicken filling. The chicken was cooked to perfection, with a crunchy coating and juicy, tender meat inside, complemented by the tangy and slightly spicy sauce. The balance of textures and flavors in this dish is spot on. Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu

Amazing food, gvery tasty and good size portions. Staff are lovely and decor is very easy on the eye and calming. Reasonably priced and would definitely go back.

Very good food, full of flavours, generous portions, great value for money. Good selection of drinks. Lovely touch at the end was shot of bailays on The house and blast from the past uncle Joe's mint balls😍 The staff were very friendly and checked on us several times throughout the evening. The dried ice mist before the main course was mesmerizing. Bookings in advance advised a very popular place. We will go back, thank you for the great service.

The restaurant is very tastefully decorated and very clean, staff are lovely- very friendly. The food is delicious- big portions- I had Biriani and couldn’t finish it - but it was delicious - and they did offer to box it up so we could take it home. Hubby had one of the chefs recommendations (hot, smoky, South Indian curry) which he said was delicious. We will definitely be going back, the prices are very reasonable as well.

Lovely cosy pub vibes, very popular with the hill walker crowd. Food was spot on had the lamb Henry with was lovely and tender with buttery mash. The chips were proper home cooked style and lovely. Great place, good food and reasonably priced. Would visit again.

Brilliant pub , up on the Pennines ! I have visited and eaten here many times!! Today I had a proper Yorkshire Farmers Dinner , Barnsley Chop! It was huge!!!! A fantastic GLUTEN FREE option!! The GLUTEN FREE menu is great!! Lots of choice! It's a great place to come during the Summer too , to watch the Sunset!! The staff are very pleasant and helpful! It was rammed , so best to leave it until later to eat! One of my favourite pubs!

Drove passed on the way to Todmorden and looked inviting especially with elevation and views so called in on the way back home . Nice traditional pub and food looks very nice and good value was quite busy unfortunately we were about ten minutes late for food but had a look at menu and specials board and we will be back . Staff friendly especially landlord who chatted to us while we enjoyed our drinks ..

We had our wedding in the cabin and we couldn't have asked for better. The communication and planning prior to the day was great and Lisa and the staff were accommodating with my requests. It was made simple and easy. On the day of our wedding we had nothing to worry about, staff were great and attentive, food was amazing and our guests were impressed with the venue as a whole. We hired the cabin for a hen do this weekend and paid per head for food and wine, and what an experience! Absolutely amazing service and incredible food! Would highly recommend the cabin to anyone looking for a small party! The staff were so helpful and attentive all day! Thank you so much xx

Been back after covid and after they had a fire. The food was Soo much better then I remember before very good portion sizes, amazing flavours and reasonably priced. Loved the gyoza and burger very tasty! Excellent service and very attentive staff. With each course they came and asked if everything was ok and made sure our glasses were never empty. Superb evening

We have been several times as a family for meals and they are always delicious. We recently held our mums surprise 60th here and I can’t speak highly enough of everyone at the Cedar Tree, especially Rachel. She was so helpful and accommodating, helped us with planning from the get go and was open to all our crazy ideas!! Helped us with everything even organising entertainment and drinks on arrival for guests. On the night the team were all fantastic and took care of everything so it was seamless. The Buffett was phenomenal with fresh tasty dishes not your average beige selection. We’ve been back for dinner again since and wouldn’t hesitate to host another event here. A huge thanks to Rachel and the full team 💛

Came across this place on a whim, and wow! The steak was cooked to perfection for both the Sirloin (Rare) and Fillet (Medium-Rare), topped with Blue Cheese sauce, and the salad was drizzled in a delicious sauce. The table also had heavily favoured reviews for the Sea Bass and the Homemade Classic Burger. For dessert, I had the Chocolate Fudge Gateau, and it was so good that it didn't last long on the plate. The service was exceptional, very friendly, and quick to serve with food and drinks. The place was also very clean, considering it's a bar, especially the toilets.

We had our daughter’s 1st birthday party here last week and it was lovely! The food was amazing and had something for everyone, there was more than enough for everyone also. It’s a great place for families, we had small children there and they were able to walk around without feeling like they were getting in the way. Rachel is so lovely and made sure everything was sorted, thank you so much!

Greeted with a lovely warm homely atmosphere. The staff were so welcoming and smiles were plentiful. The food was absolutely superb and nicely presented. Best steak and ale pie I've ever tasted and the sticky toffee pudding was unbeatable.

Nice evening last night in the Riva up at the lake. A very warm welcome from all the staff who are great and always there for you if you need any help. And the food was excellent we had crab & crawfish ravioli , salmon pasta, mixed grill, and a real Italian calzone, garlic bread, a lovely cake for grandma and my lad and we had a sharer desert for 2 with alsorts of goodies so give it a go guys. So top job guys i tip my hat we will be back soon 👍👍

The food here was absolutely delicious and well presented. The early bird menu is great value for money and has a good selection of dishes on it. It was just less than £22 for 3 courses which is excellent. I had the bruschetta, sea bass and crembrule, each dish was very tasty. The decor was nice and the staff were friendly. Great experience.

We showed up on valentines (Saturday) we hadn’t booked and we were welcomed. We had Bruschetta to start then my wife ordered sirloin steak (medium) with Skinny fries. I ordered Lamb (medium) with mashed potato and veggies. We ate all of our main dishes, then we had this platter of sweets. Which OMG was awesome. Can we thank you for the delicious meal. Delicious italian food, ravioli comparable to what we had in Italy. Mushroom soup was thick and luscious; mussels appetiser was very flavourful. The dessert tasting platter was disappointing though, cream puff tasted stale and chocolate cake lacked flavour. Great ambience by the lake.

Great little charity shop with lots of bargains on offer. There is also a cafe which is great for a coffee, and they have a delicious selection of cakes. Free parking is available at the front and rear of the store. Also, thank you for supporting Smithy Bridge Primary School at christmas.

We purchased items from the charity shop, and we had breakfast in the cafe. The whole atmosphere was of kindness and it was a really enjoyable visit, we will definitely be visiting again in the near future.

Upon walking in the atmosphere was absolutely amazing! Such a gorgeous restaurant. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The room was very warm, the nice lady had made sure it was cosy and warm ready for us arriving. The food- where to begin?! The flavours and portion size we can’t fault it at all. Really enjoyed it. Our room was really nice and the bed was very comfy. We will come back again I’m sure of it!

First time visiting The Rake. We were looking for a local tapas restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. They were really accommodating when or numbers changed. We wanted a full evening out and that's what we had, lovely food and plenty of it. Served as it was cooked, no rush and great service for drinks. Two of our party chose the butchers board from the special menu. The steak looked amazing and was fantastic value for the food they received.

Generous portions. Meat balls were large and stodgy. Too much chllly in prawn dish. Mixed salad and bread were very good.

Called in at midday today with my Brother for lunch. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Quick service, great value for money but most importantly the food was delicious, served nicely with generous portions. Couldn't find any faults, would recommend to anyone. Well done. 👍

Just had the best afternoon tea in the local area. Lovely hot and cold options on the menu, something for everybody.

First time coming here and really impressed. Very clean and great service. Speciality are the steaks and ended up ordering the steak burger after Tiger Prawns as a starter and you can really tell the difference between a gourmet burger compared to a frozen patty. The meat was very succulent and well made. Yes it does cost quite a bit more than what you will pay from a local takeaway, however, the quality of the food is much better.

Checked out @tribezsteakgrill in Rochdale and it was worth the trip! Pretty cool nice and spacious steak house and grill. I didn't get the best steak experience as they sold out on my favorite cut - ribeye so tried the t bone instead which was still decent. Best was their peri peri - especially the wings. Their peri flavour wasn't anything generic. Really good and flavourful. The 6 winglets for £6 is a must try! Even their peri butterfly chicken was great. Burgers were pretty decent but I'd focus on their peri peri items which ere fantastic!

One of the best T Bone steak I've ever had, well done to perfection. Top respectful service. HMC certified. No music played. Accepting card and cash payments.

Staff were very accommodating to our requests and were very friendly. The food quality was superb and the food was very tasty to the point we even ordered extra to take home. I ordered the pina cola mocktail and the Durban burger, both were 10/10 i definitely recommend.
