I've recently been to balcarres I was served by a young lad called jack and his superior Ryan felt nothing but welcomed and the outstanding steak was an added bonus, I will be returning, Outstanding job done by new landlord Mike Ross and Vicky flatters 😁😁
Great atmosphere, food looked amazing but we weren’t eating. Beer was great with friendly service. Toilets desperately need an upgrade but perfect otherwise.
Staff are extremely polite, cheerful and helpful. Prices are reasonable. Food was lovely. Toilets clean and well equipped. Comfortable seating with a choice of benches or individual seats. Dogs welcome and water bowls provided. They also have a dog food and drinks menu. Only slight niggle was skimmed milk served with pot of tea and only in a tiny jug so had to ask for more. Would have preferred semi skimmed but only my personal taste so I haven't reduced the rating. Will definitely be going back.
Since being taken over last week the pub has its feeling back, locals are returning, the staff are brilliant and the owners superb, the food is delicious and the beers are priced well. All round great experience and will be returning
I love this pub it does great food, has large menu and staff are great. Great spot and drinks are cheap and amazing. Defo recommend. Very clean and amazing atmosphere.
