Attended a 60th birthday party in their function room and watched a great band (The Manchester Ska Foundation - see video). A nice place with a good atmosphere: only criticism is they charged more for drinks than in the pub itself, and have a more limited range of beers etc.

A spontaneous stop for some lunch. Good size car park. Cozy interior and decor. Nice separation of dining and pub areas. Staff were friendly enough. It was a good size portion of food and it was cooked to and served with no complaints.

This is a wonderful spot for lunch and a afternoon or evening drink! They have an indoor restaurant and also outdoor catering truck. We chose the outdoor food with a few pints :) we chose the pulled pork bucket which was fantastic and ideal for 2 people to snack. They have other options and also serve burger and pizza. The only fault it the lack of salad for such a large size meal.. besides from this I would highly recommend. There is also parking available

Went for a couples meal, got sat down quickly even though we were about 20 minutes early. Before we had even been able to sit down the server was over asking us what we would like to drink. As we hadn't been before we didn't know what the options were and asked for a couple minutes to look over the menu. 20 minutes later we had to go up to the bar and order our drinks as our server (young, black haired male) had walked past us multiple times and not stopped to ask us anything. A further 10 minutes later we had to pull him over and ask if we could order food. Starters arrived quickly, and were presented well. I got the mushrooms and my partner got the prawns and both were very tasty. Then our mains came out, they both could've been presented better. I got a rare steak and my partner got the mixed grill. All the meats were cooked really well and were tasty. The chips weren't that good and had to have sauce and we're definitely too thick and were soggy. We then ended up with a different server (Beth) who took our dessert order and those came out promptly. The Eton mess was gorgeous, but could have been presented nicer, and my partners cheesecake was good and presented well. I have knocked the review down a star due mainly to our first server (didn't catch his name) having no customer service skills and being left for almost half an hour without even checking on us before we even order just wasn't right in my eyes plus when we ordered our steaks we asked if they came with a sauce or if it would be an extra charge and he told us that the steaks came with a sauce included, but the bill was up £8 due to us both having a sauce which we would have argued against, but at the end of the meal we had a new server and she was lovely and answered all our questions. Overall- service leaves something to be desired. The food wasn't worth the £95 we paid (minus drinks) and the overall atmosphere was "meh" and we probably wouldn't return for food again.

Went for a family meal, we did book and I'm glad we did as the restaurant got very busy. Service was quick and the food was lovely and tasty. When we finished went sat in the bar area, this was also busy. Highly recommend for food and a place to have a drink, very welcoming.

I went with my brother, we couldn't decide where to go and this place stood out with its huge cock at the door! 😅 Great atmosphere, great service, and a great selection on the menu to choose from! Highly recommend if you're looking for a place that's casual, chicken, and done in style!

Yard & Coop has always delivered on taste—the food is delicious, and I love the hand crafted sauces. The chicken thigh, in particular, is my go-to. However, on this visit, I couldn’t ignore how much the prices have risen. It’s no longer good value for money, which is really disappointing. The portion sizes don’t look any bigger and my service was exceptionally slow on the day, so the price increase really bothers me. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning anytime soon as the menu is now too pricey!

I took my friend out for her birthday- all chicken is halal and the staff actively offer the certificate just to prove it which is fantastic! The food was gorgeous and we were definitely spoilt for choice. The ranch is leagues above the wing stop ranch, as is the menu as a whole. Our server Jay was lovely and we can’t wait to do back. Make sure to book in advance because it gets busy !

I visited last Thursday to try and kill some time as all the trains for me to get home were cancelled. Aside from that I had generally had a rubbish day. From the minute I walked through the door Clara knew EXACTLY what I needed and she took absolutely amazing care of me throughout my visit. Her kindness was hugely appreciated and made the most terrible day a whole load better, I can’t thank her enough for taking the time to look after me. Sometimes all it takes is a little bit of kindness to make things seem not so bad! I’m sorry for crying at her so much but her I was so overcome with emotion, she’s such a beautiful person inside and out. Don’t ever change!! I wish I could give you 100 stars! And I can’t wait to visit again, the food, cocktails and all the other staff who looked after me were also brilliant! I 1000% recommend a visit! ❤️

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Fairway Inn, again, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food I ordered was absolutely delightful. The Hot Honey Chicken was perfectly cooked, tender, and juicy, with just the right amount of heat from the hot honey glaze. It was a flavour explosion in every bite. The Ultimate Burger was a masterpiece. The combination of the beef patty, buttermilk chicken breast, slow cooked brisket, beer battered onion rings, mature cheddar, and BBQ sauce created a symphony of flavors that left me wanting more. The different textures and flavours complemented each other perfectly, making this burger truly unforgettable. The Dirty Fries were a delicious indulgence. The paprika seasoned fries were crispy and flavorful, and the slow cooked brisket added a rich and savoury element. The melted cheddar, spring onions, red chillies, crispy onions, and honey mustard drizzle elevated the dish to a whole new level. Each bite was a burst of flavours and textures that kept me coming back for more. One aspect that really stood out during my visit was the interaction with the staff members. They were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was exceptional. Stunning. Visited mid November for drinks and dinner and they could easily accommodate us. As we were under 6 people it was a walk in policy for the terrace drinks, but for the restaurant they were fine and had tables free to move us inside for food. Menu was a good selection of options but the lamb was amazing, super tender and melt in your mouth. Good portion sizes and incredible service, would definitely recommend and return

Came here a few times now and loved it each time. Very nice views all round which is really cool day or night. Drinks very nice too, and a few different cocktails with a slight twist. Service is good but weekend evenings it's quite busy so have to wait a little. Worth it though. There is an outside area too with booths that can be booked. Great place, I'll be back here a lot and recommend it to anyone.

Had a fantastic experience at 20 Stories for my boyfriend's birthday! The waiter was attentive and helped make the celebration special. The atmosphere was perfect with great vibes and music, just what we were looking for. The food was delicious and served promptly. The view was stunning, though it’s a shame we couldn’t get a window seat. Highly recommend for a special occasion!

We had an incredible experience at 20 stories! The views were absolutely stunning and the atmosphere was perfect, with a great vibe that made it the ideal spot for a valentines date night. Thank you to Khurram, who truly made the experience unforgettable. His friendly service, recommendations, and attentiveness really elevated the whole evening. We will definitely be back!

This is the best African restaurant and night scene location in Manchester in my opinion. Great food, friendly staff, great music, lovely interior and great night vibes. Never disappointed when I’m there. I always go for the Suya, pepper soup and Ayamase. I tasted my mums Fried rice too and that was very nice also! I’ll be ordering it next time I visit.

Staying in the area at the moment tried this place last night. Food was hot, fresh and delicious. The delivery was really quick, the driver was friendly. Also can’t fault the size of the portions for the price. Absolutely brilliant will be back!

First time trying this place and enjoyed everything. ordered 2 half peri chicken meals and was lovely, hot and fresh will definitely be going back quick delivery.. And also got a nice surprise with free garlic bread that was also nice😋😁 thanks very much

Only had delivery to M11but omg the food was delicious!!! Had kebabs last night, tonight I’m trying their burgers… definitely a hidden gem! Delivery prompt, food hot and extremely tasty!!, donner meat was succulent and tasty ( not dry like other restaurants) delivery guy really friendly I really can’t fault them at all 10/10! definitely My new go to for a night in!! thanks guys I can’t fault you at all 👍 just found out they have an app so installed on my phone, if you want the best try these guys the food is spot on 👌

Amazing food and amazing service. It never felt like we were ignored for one second, and the taste of the food was definitely worth any penny. Definitely on the pricier side of food in Manchester but for good reason. Came on a Friday night at around 6pm and it was pleasantly quiet. For someone who gets overwhelmed easily, this place was perfect. The music wasn’t too loud, the lights were just right, and the performer there on guitar was also a perfect volume. Would be a great spot for children or adults who get overstimulated easily. P.S., the bartender/server (the one with the beard and the white button up) was very handsome!

I came here as part of my wedding day meal. I booked the maharaja table and after many advanced phone calls to make sure everything was going to be okay...... it was more than okay. From walking in and being greeted to taking the lift upstairs and having our own private area was amazing. The lighting and deco is top notch and the mood fits with the colour settings. All our guests have amazing feedback. I spoke to the manager called estoban, estovan (apologies for the wrong spelling) and he made sure the evening was problem free. We had a personal waiter called Satu who went above and beyond in making sure the table was fully stocked and cleaned and served at the perfect time and anything I needed was swiftly bought. All with a smile too!! I know right, a waiter, smiling. It's unheard of sometimes. The food was amazing. We chose the Christmas menu A and each dish was very flavoursome. A note for the desert, it's nice but very rich chocolate and most of us could only finish half so if that's not your thing then choose something else to your liking. All in all. A credit to the staff and hats to the chefs for making the food fresh and fast. Very easy to overlook the people who cook your food. Will definately be back for a normal meal in the future.

What a beautiful and hospitable place! Every member of staff, from the manager to our fantastic waiter Sato, were wholeheartedly dedicated to looking after us and making sure we had a night to remember! The level of service was remarkable and when they clocked on that it was my birthday, the truly went above and beyond. The decor is also stunning and makes Vermillion stand out from other dining spots in town! Unique and tastefully designed, it provides an intriguing yet peaceful and relaxing ambiance that makes for the perfect environment to savour good company and good food. Speaking of which, the food itself was prepared to perfection! The precise attention to detail in the balance of flavours made each dish we had something special. I had the Dal Makhani and whilst I've had many a dal before, I've never had one that's blown me away like that. Lastly, I'd strongly recommend the Red Lantern cocktail. It's an experience in and of itself!
