Great staff and top quality food. We celebrated a birthday here and the staff looked after every member of out party, it was a relaxed service so no need to rush, the food was top quality and generous portions. One member couldn't finish the dush as it was very filling and the owner cane to ask if everything was ok, he was relieved to find out it was the portion size not the quality.

Came here for a date night meal with my boyfriend yesterday, and it was amazing! The service was top notch, the new waiter Joe in particular was very friendly and attentive. From start to finish, incredible experience, really delicious food and perfect atmosphere, lovely cosy little intimate restaurant. Lots of veggie, meat and fish options, I had the lobster ravioli which was super tasty. Owner was also very welcoming, made us feel right at home. Can’t wait to visit again! Thanks! x

First time visit to what will be a my regular local. Warm welcomes from the staff and very attentive without being suffocating. The space is warm and intimate, nice interior. We ordered two garlic pizza breads, two mains and two glasses of wine = £62! You’ll spend double that in the city centre for food that isn’t as good in quality. I highly recommend the lasagne; the seasoning blend was mouth watering. Can’t wait to come back!

We recently visited Tara & Mare Italian Restaurant and were thoroughly impressed! It’s such a family-friendly spot, with thoughtful touches like colouring activities for our daughter. They even display the kids’ artwork, which made her feel so special and added a lovely personal touch to the experience. The customer service was outstanding—attentive, warm, and welcoming throughout. As for the food, it was exceptional. The risotto was beautifully cooked, and the Fillet Steak Rossini was absolutely divine—easily my favorite dish! Tara & Mare is a perfect place for a family meal or a special evening out. Highly recommended

We went here tonight for our son’s birthday, we booked online which was really simple and received a lovely welcome. The food was really tasty and the service was fab. Really friendly and quick service. We would all highly recommend. Give it a whirl! 😋

I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. The atmosphere was positive, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The pizza and pasta were both delicious and served warm. I also enjoyed a delightful dessert. Everything was perfect! The dishes were served promptly, without any delays, and the prices were very reasonable.

First time trying here and it’s safe to say it’s now our favourite Italian in the area! Interior, vibe and service were all amazing and the food was incredible. I will 100% be coming back for the lasagne which was probably the best I have had in a restaurant. Also very reasonably priced. Very happy to have found this gem!

Enjoyed a mixture of dishes from the lunch menu consisting of small and large plates, and the specials of the day, brown crab rarebit and skate wing. Everything we ordered were skillfully cooked and delicious. The courgette fritters we didn't expect it to be with chilli flakes, but it was tasty if you like a hint of heat. Recommend the mussels and blanchbait too!

Had dinner here last night after receiving a gift voucher for Christmas, the food was absolutely fantastic the service was fantastic and the atmosphere was very laid back and friendly. Really impressed and will definitely be back it’s hard to find a good fresh fish restaurant! We had Tiger prawns and a bread board to start then we shared the tandoori monkfish and a whole lobster, some of the dishes came with garlic bread which was also delicious.

Excellent choice, very lucky to get a walk-in booking on a Saturday afternoon, we chose from the lunchtime menu, a range of dishes at £16 each, this is slightly more than your local, however, the food is exceptional, the restaurant presents as a cafe to the rear of the Fishmonger, however, it has the feel of a Ramsey kitchen, very clean, professional and fresh, this is our second visit, I would be tempted to try from the specials menu as these change, seasonally.. or maybe daily? It was Skate Wing, however for lunch, it seemed much.. but certainly, for the evening meal it looked like a great option, Battered Fish and Chips looked great too. Such a stunning restaurant, warm and inviting. We had the Sunday Sharing Platter which was huge and had everything we wanted. Denise, our server was lovely and friendly and gave us detailed information about what we were ordering. We will definitely be returning as there is plenty more on the menu we want to try.

The steak is excellent. I had the 30-day 9oz rump (so towards the lower end of the price range), cooked rare, and it was fantastic. Together with the beef dripping sauce and seasoned fries, it was a winning combination. So just goes to show you don't need to spend a fortune. The service was also excellent - they have obviously tried hard to make it an experience and the interior is warm and spacious. The only gripes were that we were waiting for around 5 minutes at the front desk on arrival - and passed several times without an acknowledgement - which did not get us off to a good start. However, all staff were very polite and professional, and our waiter was particularly attentive and I would go as far as to say an asset to the establishment. The sign outside about dress code, and reiterated when booking online, makes a little bit too much of a point - which inadvertantly sends the wrong message I fear. The ambience and class of the place, and of the food, should be the focus and able to speak for itself no matter what customers choose to wear. A note to the management - if it feels special, customers will of course dress accordingly!

I booked a night at the hotel and the rooms are excellent. Check in was simple and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room decor is high end and it has all the extras you’d need, free Wi-Fi, parking, ironing board etc. The rooms are only accessible by stairs, I didn’t see a lift, so that could limit visitors with mobility issues. The bed was incredibly comfortable and a firm, great quality mattress, which was well received. I didn’t eat in the restaurant, so was unable to rate the food.

Lovely meal . Dawn was our waitress she was fantastic it was our first experience at miller and carter and she went over the menu with us and made some great recommendations. Dawn was really helpful friendly and attentive

Atmosphere was through the roof, service was impeccable and really lovely and the food was banging. We went on a cantina evening, the new dishes were delectable whilst the usual dishes were great as ever. Defo would recommend!!

Discovered this hidden gem while looking for a light lunch. We came with a dog, which was welcome on the curbside veranda. There are outside heaters, which were very welcome end of October, we'll make for the inside next time. Menu looks great, particularly impressed with the selection of drinks and cocktails and the fact there is actually Bermuda rum in the Dark & Stormy. Service was prompt and attentive. We had Tortilla chips with a delicious trio of salsas Chipotle black beans, which were scrumptious Smoky mushroom Tacos, very unusual, I liked them but a step too far for my daughter, who buried herself in Birria Tacos, which were excellent and she felt rivalled her favourite Don Taco's. In summary, we'll be back, definitely for Taco Tuesdays and after the sun is over the yard arm with serious intent for the cocktails.

Lovely evening at the ‘Burbs celebrating our anniversary. Everything we ordered was delicious and we had great service from Roxy. She was really friendly and recommended an amazing creamy sausage tagliatelle special. We’ll definitely be back again - what a hidden gem!

We had a very fantastic experience at MangoMist and already been there three times now. The staff were very friendly and attentive. All the food we ordered were well cooked and presented with high standards. Absolute pleasure and satisfaction of tasting both authentic Indian and homely south Indian cuisines. And I must say, their signature cocktails and desserts were blissful. Planning to book our next work do at MangoMist. If you wish to enjoy or even try good Indian/south Indian cuisines this is one of the best in Manchester. Highly recommended!

I visited here a couple of weeks ago for lunch with my dad and a good friend. We had a lovely, but somewhat pricey meal. But would still dine here again as it was a great experience 👍 Service was fab; the Scottish waitress was a credit to the business. Food was well presented and tasty, but a bit on the expensive side. Restaurant inside was impressively decorated, clean and well looked-after. The restaurant is well situated on the corner of Shaw road, with plenty of on-street parking around and good transport links. We had starters of ribs, Caesar salad and pate. And seabass with 2 different pizzas for mains. All the food was great 👍 My only constructive feedback would be the need for a lunch menu, as paying dinner service prices at midday is probably why it was dead inside. So staff were standing around which isn't a good luck. We only went in to try something different 😊 A 2 courses for 14.95 offer would be much appreciated if at all possible. Apart from that my compliments to the chef and the waitress. Keep up the great work ❤️

Lovely decor, great food and staff are very attentive. The prices are reasonable. The pornstar martinis were great. The food had a lot of flavour and good sized portions. The manager was lovely. Overall would really recommend.

Nice addition to Heaton moor!! Good vibes, we would deffo go back! Portions are big, it suggested 2-3 plates each so we got two each plus fries and were stuffed. Could share 3 plates between two people. Dietary info clearly displayed. Would love if they started a cocktail menu.

i ate here last night with my 3 sisters, we were all very impressed, the food was excellent and lots of choice too .my personal favourite was the Japanese beef, very tasty . the small plates are a decent size and enough for 2 to share. it was also very welcome to find Cava on the menu instead of the usual bog standard prosecco. Elizabeth, our server was really good, attentive, helpful and pleasant (probably laughing at 4 old biddies working our way through all that food and drink:) ) i would highly recommend Eden and hope they do very well , they deserve it.

What a gorgeous selection of dishes we had. Everything was so tasty! We will definitely come again soon
