The steak was excellent perfect so much better than hawksmore we had a 750gram prime rib the fries were tasty the sweet potato great and broccoli salad amazing. Mushroom on toast lacked seasoning The Barman was very knowledgeable and our waiter was excellent Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great steak.

The place was superb, high quality meat and reasonable prices. The vibe was also very nice. I highly recommend it for meat lovers. We ordered the medium-rare sirloin steak. Service was excellent. Reservations needed.

We ordered the all-in as we wanted to try all kinds of meat offered by the restaurant. We really loved it, especially the pork and the lamb! The meat were cooked just right, not too well-done, and they were so juicy! There’s gravy as the sauce and it was enough, no need to order extra sauces! For the sides, would definitely recommend the fries as they are just freshly fried. The major highlight of the visit was the birthday surprise they’ve given me. It’s the famous white chocolate cheesecake! The white chocolate neutralizes the cheese, making me wanting to eat more and more. Thank you Blacklock for making my birthday a special one.

Blacklock…what a fantastic restaurant, I have only just left and I am already planning when I can come again! This restaurant is slightly hidden on entry, you need to go down a set of stairs to get into it but you go down into the restaurant to lovely ambient lighting and modern decor. Our waiter for the evening Peter couldn’t have been anymore accommodating, so incredibly welcoming and attentive all evening. Myself and my friends all got the fillet steak with the chop sauce and beef dripping chips which were amazing! We tried the walnut and broccoli salad as well which was lovely too. After our mains we decided to try the desserts and I had the white chocolate cheesecake which was delicious. The whole evening all the food was fantastic, the atmosphere was delightful and our waiter Peter couldn’t have been more helpful. Highly recommend ! Will definitely be back for more.

Service was top notch from start to finish. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. The food was full of flavour and filling. High quality ingredients that shone through. The staff even made us a makeshift celebration banner for the dessert on the spot. That little gesture made it feel extra special.
