Very approachable and flexible tutors with whom our daughters studied mainly maths during Years 10 and 11. They always listened to the girls' maths/science anxieties and gave them confidence. Their approach is to teach methods and offer exam practice so our daughters had lots of different types of help. Always happy to go over mock papers they had done in class. They really did make a difference to their grades.

Leesa tutored both my sons for the Kent test, the eldest remotely during a Covid lockdown. They both passed with flying colours. She made sessions fun and motivating, with rewards like sweets or little toys at the end of each session (delivered to our doorstep during lockdown!) and mini competitions between her pupils over a number of sessions for bigger prizes. My daughter prepared her 11+ with Advantage Tuition, attended the Saturday classes and really enjoyed them. They were very organised, covered all the topics during the year, organised the homework and tests to practice at home, had mini assessments every term to evaluate their progression and they offered parent consultations. During the summer they also offered revion days and mock exams. All these really helped my daughter, and she ultimately performed well in the 11+ with a good result. Tough teachers make the most difference - that’s so true for Favour. My daughter had a few tears initially in her classes, but once she got to grips, she not only became incredibly serious with her studies, but also became resilient, tough and confident. The testament to that is that my daughter developed severe covid symptoms just as the test started, but she defied all odds and sat through and smashed her Medway test with very high scores. Favour not only gave her the power of knowledge, but also developed her attitude to take on any challenges head on, my daughter is no longer the delicate little darling, but is a tough young girl now. I cannot recommend Mary highly enough. We originally asked her to help our son with English Language because we were concerned that his grades were continually falling over time. However, her tuition also helped improve his English Literature work in the process, and they ended up being his two highest GCSE grades. Mary was friendly and professional throughout and we could see a noticeable improvement in our son’s ability and confidence in the subject from the start.

Rowena has helped our son during Year 6 in the run up to the SAT tests. She has provided some great 1 to 1 tuition in an environment that allowed him to focus on specific areas where he was struggling. Grand tutors is an excellent tutoring school. My son attended the school for only 7 weeks during the Summer holiday, and then went on to pass the 11 plus with a high score. My daughter has recently received tutoring from Outreach Tuition and I couldn’t be happier with the service they provided. Both Di and Don her English and Maths/Science tutors were very kind, friendly and supportive and made her feel very comfortable as she was a little nervous to begin with. Outreach tuition were able to include my daughter into their timetable very quickly and were very flexible with Jodie able to rearrange lessons around my daughters appointments or how she was feeling on the day sometimes at very short notice which was greatly appreciated. I have been using outreach tuition for my son who has ADHD since March 2021. My son really struggles with focusing in lessons. Particular in Maths and found the transition from primary to secondary quiet overwhelming. I approached outreach as they were recommended. I have to say that from the outset they really listened to what my son was struggling with and matched him to an excellent tutor who has managed to give my son real confidence within his subject. I can’t recommend them enough. The whole team are friendly and know exactly what difficulties special education children face.
