Being relatively new to Kent I found the whole selective system and Kent Test process somewhat overwhelming, but Jeni completely demystified it and made it all feel more manageable. Our son not only didn't complain about her tutoring sessions but actively looked forward to them! We were quite late to discover Jeni but I'm so grateful we did - she's been an absolute game-changer and I can't recommend her enough.

A rare find; if you are looking for a reputable tutor, I cannot recommend Sunnydene enough! I have complete faith in Jeni’s understanding of the system and test papers. Very structured and lots of parent info to guide you along the way too. My two children have been tutored here and got the outcome we hoped for in the dreaded Kent test. Thanks Sunnydene :-)

Mr C was an excellent tutor. He was very welcoming and my daughter enjoyed all her lessons with him. He made lessons fun for her - we still play some of the games he taught her - and he was very good at explaining topics that she found difficult. She retained all the information he gave her. Without Emma, I could never have achieved a grade 9 in both English literature and language. Before starting my tutoring, my grades were at 6’s and 7’s and I didn’t know what I could do better to improve them. But once Emma started tutoring me, I began to discover my strengths and weaknesses. She increased my confidence and is incredibly supportive and kind. I’ve had many English tutors throughout my GCSE studies but Emma has by far been the best one, she has helped me increase my grades in English by an incredible 5 grades in the short time she taught me (from my year 10 mock to my actual GCSE’s!). We've been using the Kumon Maths and English programmes at the Canterbury centre for more than five years. The Kumon team at Canterbury have been fantastic in supporting my child's learning and have helped my child develop a systematic approach to learning and have helped build confidence in studies. The Kumon system has a tailored approach where the pace of learning is set by the child, rather than a one size fits all. Our experience has been very positive. Highly recommended.
