I Work for a lettings company in Reading and have been using Warren at Combat Pest Solutions for the last 5 months. We have found him to be very professional, friendly and very knowledgeable regarding all pests. So far we have used him for problems with rats, squirrels and flies. Each time the problems have been resolved very quickly. We would defiantly recommend Warren to anyone with a Pest problem.

Warren came after we had a mouse problem. He identified the entry point and put up bait around the house. He recommended we put mouse mesh guards around the house and after capturing the mouse via a trap we haven't had any more issues. Our house feels more secure now! Warren is very friendly and having 3 visits through his service is recommended to ensure no more activity within the house.

Warren was brilliant, very friendly and fast to respond to any questions. Contacted him Sunday evening he came out the next day to do an inspection of the problem. Then was able to start the treatment that day. Brilliant price as was been quoted double from other compainies. We would recommend Warren he knows his stuff and gave us lots of tips to make sure we hopefully get rid of the bugs for good.

I had a rat problem under my decking. I called Broadsword and spoke with Michael. He quoted for his services (very competitive price) and came to check the issue without delay. Confirmed a plan of action and delivered to it. Detailed job sheets and a detailed explanation of the work he was going to do and set my expectations. All very clear, informed and professional. And the problem was resolved exactly how he described it would. No fuss. Great work and lovely people who really understand their work and what customer satisfaction means. Thank you Michael! Update Feb 2025: I had rats return. Contacted Michael again and he responded as before. Quick, efficient and knowledgeable. Problem resolved in 2 weeks. I have been really impressed with how Michael from Broadsword Pest Control dealt with my tenants' rat infestation. The service is professional and competitively priced and Michael is very knowledgeable about all aspects of the treatment. But the most unique feature of this company is that there is no limit on the number of visits they are prepared to arrange. Broadsword keep coming back until the issue is sorted - something no other pest control company would do from my experience and research. I can't recommend Broadsword Pest Control enough!

Michael came quickly after we called about a rat nest in our rockery. He explained clearly what he would do for a single fee, and that he would visit weekly until the problem is resolved. It took a total of 7 visits (arriving promptly at the arranged time) before he was able to declare himself satisfied that the problem was solved! We have no problem in saying that we have received an exemplary service and would recommend him to anyone requiring such help.

After spending a substantial amount of money with another pest control company and multiple visits I phoned Adam in desperation as I was being kept awake at night with rats in our cavity walls. Martin was very professional and friendly, in responding to our call about a wasp nest in the shed. They were able to come out the next day and very efficiently deal with the issue. He clearly loves what he does and is interested in getting to the heart of the problem rather than a quick temporary fix. Fantastic service, we called early morning as very worried about smell in our house. Adrian was happy to advise on the phone what we could do but we opted for his option to visit. Given the urgency he arrived within 3 hours and quickly located and removed a dead rat from the wall. He then did a thorough site survey and left non-toxic bait to ensure there are no further problems. Professional and caring service and would highly recommend.

Adrian has been fantastic from start to finish. I contacted him just before Christmas (on a Sunday) due to a rat issue that was causing a great deal of stress and despite his busy schedule he made time to come out and investigate the next day. We are using Hawkeye for a rat problem. They were super efficient and full of good advice. The technician ( Peter) was polite, explained everything he was doing and to my mind went over and above what I was expecting. I can highly recommend. Rodents now gone! I highly recommend the business. Steve was very professional with a friendly, approachable manner. He explained everything fully and visited promptly after my call and worked around my availability to be home, for him to gain access. I no longer have a mouse in my loft. Steve also provided a solution for future proofing against more 'visitors'.

Had a rat in the loft for several weeks and couldn't catch it with my traps. Called Steve from Thames Valley Pest control and he came out within a few days. (Probably could have been sooner, but I was working) Steve was really friendly and sorted our rat problem with just one visit, he still came back for the following two visits to check everything was ok and make sure no other furry friends were up in the loft. Gave suggestions on how to prevent more coming in and he even visited the neighbours to see if the entry point was next door. TLDR. Fantastic, would highly recommend.

Excellent service from Steve - he was able to attend our house very quickly and it was immediately obvious he was an expert! We had a wasps nest under some decking in the garden and Steve did what he could be after a couple of days the wasps were back. This time I removed some of the decking and Steve kindly returned to do a further treatment now he could access way more of the site. A very professional and friendly service and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Steve.
