Luke was great! Came in to do an assessment of what we would need to fix lighting in the kitchen and came up with a simple and affordable solution. Luke did a full rewire of our house after we moved in (he had also done the Electrical Installation Condition Report after we had put the offer in.) The job was done to a very high level and Luke explained what the issues were and the necessary solutions. He and the team were quick (full occupied rewire in less than 3 weeks) yet comprehensive, flexible and professional. They clearly knew what they were doing and I have real confidence in the final result. In addition, our home was left tidy and with minimal disruption. I would have no issues with using Luke again or in recommending him to others.

Nathan was very professional, friendly, reliable and knowledgeable, more than happy to explain everything he was doing. As a single female I felt extremely comfortable with him being in my house and with the work he did for me. He even helped me move a heavy object I couldn't move alone! For a business like ourselves that’s been established since 1976 we have used dozens of electrical firms for all sorts of work. From pac testing, to fill re wires and always been left short with satisfaction. Well that’s until we found maclaren electrical and owner connor. The service was better than any we’ve had with any trades that we have used over the years, he went over and beyond what we asked him to do in visit one and since he’s fixed so many things that other companies had clearly poorly done over the years. I couldn’t recommend Connor and his team enough and I’m actually trying to find things I want done electric wise just to get the boys back in as I I’m so impressed with the whole firm and what they provide. We asked Helsdown Electrical Contractors to carry out an EIHC and subsequently took them up on their quote to fix the issues identified. The work was completed to a very high standard by George, Tyler and Dave, all of whom demonstrated exceptional professionalism and dedication. Any questions we had were answered with patience and clarity. At every stage our options were clearly laid out and they took care to ensure we would be happy with the final result. I would strongly recommend them.

George, Dave and Tyler were involved in the process from the beginning and explained what was needed and the costs. The first day was for electrical testing and fitting a new timer and thermostat. The second and third days were remedial work to obtain an electrical installation certificate. There was a problem with the timer due to the old gravity fed heating system that I have but the problem was explained and a solution found for the problem. All were easy to talk to, polite and helpful.

Very impressed with the service I received. Have had an ongoing electrical fault. When I contacted Helsdown, they clearly communicated what they would do and the costs involved. George arrived and quickly identified and remedied the fault, he also repaired a broken socket and gave some advice on testing. Work was very clean, tidy and efficient. I have rebooked them to do some further work after receiving another clear and informative quote.

I had the main Fuse box changed and an EV charger installed. SES were professional, friendly and explained the benefits of what was being changed. Very pleased with the outcome. Would definitely recommend them.
