We needed built in shelves, desk and cupboard. We contacted Paul from Cuddington Carpentry who completely understood what we wanted and then proceeded to make and fit it. Paul is an expert in what he does and is very friendly. We would recommend him for all your carpentry and joinery needs.

Paul did an amazing job building the built in alcove units. We have just finished painting them and are so pleased with them (just need to buy some more bits and bobs for the shelves now!). Leith Construction undertook to repair my 150 year old flint wall which abuts directly onto a quiet country lane. In recent times the lane has become a rat run for an expanded secondary school and traffic and trucks and the elements have wreaked havoc on the wall taking out large chunks rendering it unstable in many places. However, Andy undertook to fix it taking his life in his hands as traffic disregarded his presence and barely slowed down as it went past the construction site. Despite the difficulties in repairing the wall Andy did a great job and we now have a restored wall good for many years ahead. Andy is a very convivial and friendly fellow who is bestowed with great skill. You can wind him up and off he goes sustained in fair and foul weather with the occasional coffee. Great guy, great job at a fair rate. You can’t go wrong with Andy.

Andy has done an excellent job repointing brickwork, repairing a long stretch of parapet wall, and inserting additional lead flashing in some exposed areas that had been leaking into the house. He is a careful and skilled worker with high standards and attention to detail. His rates are reasonable for the high quality work he provides.

DIY Alcove Cabinets service is awesome, this is the second time I’ve bought their cabinets. From the ease of use website ordering to the customer service, they are gold standard. We are really happy with quality of the cabinets, they are simple to construct, you do need some tools and skills for notching out around skirting but it’s easy for a competent DIYer. When I did have an issue with cupboard top, which was my own doing, they were easy to speak with and resolved the problem quickly. I cannot speak or recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic service from DIY Alcove Cabinets. Decided to go with them after getting joiners in to quote. They made our cabinets to measure and they look absolutely beautiful! It took a couple of hours to put them together but was easy enough with simple tools (drill, hammer etc.). We paid extra for fluting, extra thick shelves etc. and it was so worth it. Everyone who visits thinks they are original to the house which is exactly the look we were going for. Would definitely purchase from DIY Alcove Cabinets again!

We used DIY Cabinets to make us some alcove cabinets/ bookshelves in our sitting room. From the very beginning we have been so impressed with them, from their website, to discussing ideas with the design team, to delivery, everyone we have spoken to has been helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We were a little bit nervous at putting them together, not having done any DIY before, but the instructions are extremely clear and if you get stuck at all, there is always someone to help on the phone. If you are looking for beautifully made cabinets or bookshelves but don’t want to pay hefty prices I cannot recommend more.

I would highly recommend Honeywood. After trawling around all the normal 'high street' kitchen suppliers I was really disappointed with not only the quality but cost of the sub standard units. I was a bit apprehensive of approaching a joinery company as I just thought it was totally unaffordable. Little did I know that this was the best decision I made. The kitchen was designed to my exact specification. The whole process was clear and was personal to us. The fitting was pain-free, the end result is absolutely stunning and it didn't cost nearly as much as I thought it would. Tidy, professional and delivering what you ask for. We used Honeywood Carpentry & Joinery to provide our beautiful new kitchen, dresser, utility room, fitted wardrobes in four bedrooms, bath panels & vanity cupboard doors. Dean was fantastic at creating designs to my exact specifications and helping me choose the right colours, details and ironmongery. He was very patient with my ‘additions’ that I requested and has included some beautiful bespoke features in the kitchen, which I had seen in other kitchen showrooms (spice racks, knife block, bin bag drawer, utensil dividers). He invited me to his workshop to see mock ups of the paint finish and ironmongery and allowed me to take them home, which enabled me to choose the worktop. We have sloping ceilings in our bedrooms and so not only are the fitted wardrobes incredibly practical, they show exceptional workmanship. The sprayed paint finishes are beautiful and durable. We are thrilled with all aspects of the work and look forward to using Honeywood again in the future for fitted furniture.

Totally pleased with Nick and George's work for us; a combination of carpentry and painting work. Initial planned job evolved a bit and they were very helpful in working through our options and the detail and finishing was top class and very good value for money. We asked NGK Design & Build Carpentry to repair our sagging front porch. We are pleased with the repair of our front porch by Nick and George. They worked thoroughly and in detail throughout, making sure every minor thing wasn't missed. As we liked their workmanship, we asked them to fit a staircase railing on the deck.

Window frame and seat replacement. Turned up on time, super polite, tidy and got the works done to time and budget.

George and Nick delivered a peerless service. The communication, engagement and quality of work was second to none. Issue were resolved promptly and the entire project was delivered on time and on budget. Needless to say we will be using them again.

For our entirely refurbished and extended home in Horsell, Woking, Classic's skilled team, including their own local workshop (very welcoming) made and fitted all 12 sash windows and all 4 exterior doors (front, stable kitchen, garden french and utility) with bespoke energy-efficient designs while also perfectly reproducing our neo-Georgian 1930s style. They sourced my high-spec materials, stuck to their fixed price and finished on time. Their work seamlessly blends modern efficiency with heritage aesthetics, impressing us, our friends, and neighbours. Their fitters were professional, collaborative (with my builder and all other trades on a busy site!) and delivered flawless results.
