We needed a roofing company to replace and redirect some zinc guttering that was feeding water onto a flat roof and causing water ingress into our property. I spent ages researching companies and got a few quotes but only Surrey Roofing Group seemed bothered about listening to what we wanted. Nicholas visited the property and provided a reasonable quote promptly and then went to great lengths to source the exact same products so they would match what was already fitted. Work was booked in and was completed in a day. No mess and a job really well done! Highly recommended and will use again for any roof issues we might have in the future!

We had a nightmare start to the Christmas holidays with a roof leak that had spread across 2 levels. Nicholas responded to my query on Christmas Eve and provide some more info across the next few days to manage the situation. Came out, did the work that needed to be done and it's stopped the leak. Nicky was very helpful and efficient in looking at and sorting out a leak in my parents-in-laws house and also has excellent customer service skills. We asked him to carry out other work to resolve gutter problems on both our house and our parents-in-law's house, plus some roofing repair. Nicky and Luke did an excellent job, worked hard and quickly but also ensuring the work was carried out to a high standard and that everything was tidy after they'd finished. They are both friendly and great to work with, and from now on Surrey Roofing Group will be the first people that I will call to resolve roofing or similar issues.

They came and looked at removing a redundant chimney stack that was for an old anthracite boiler and was flaking at the top. An appointment was made and two people removed the stack and retiled a small section of the roof. They were prompt, pleasant, efficient and tidy. A difficult job finished in a day and a half with minimum mess or fuss. Very pleasing with a sensible, reasonable price.

Martin and his team were absolutely brilliant throughout. We used Surrey Roofs last year and recently and would highly recommend them. Don’t look any further …. If you need any work done to your roof or gutters give Martin and Jack a call. Having bought a 100 year old house that had it’s original leaky roof, we asked Surrey Roofs to retile the entire house and renew the liquid rubber roof on a flat area of the kitchen. The team fitted new batons to the roof where needed, repointed chimneys and brickwork, and completed the work on time and on budget. The guys were doing such a good job that we asked for their advice on other areas of the house, and added in installation of a replacement velux window, three sun tunnel skylights in the roof, and three roof lanterns in the kitchen. Again all were done within agreed timeframes and budget, and the work carried out was to an extremely high standard. Finally we agreed some painting of the property, including the fascia and soffits, and the roof lanterns in the kitchen. A huge shout out to Pete who’s a whizz with a paint brush. As you can see we added a number of items to the original spec, that’s because Surrey Roofs really know what they’re doing, are excellent communicators, and are a great group of guys to have around. Szymek and Adam were an absolute pleasure, a special mention for Connor who went above and beyond regularly. Martin and Jack have built a fantastic family business, and we won’t hesitate to use them again.

Martin, and the team recently completely reroofed our entire house. This was necessary due to loft insulation foam putting a pause on our house sale. We were tight for time (seeking to keep our buyers interested) and so took the recommendation of using Surrey Roofs from a friend. The turnaround time and understanding Martin and team showed was fantastic and we were really pleased with the way the whole job was managed. The foam was bonded directly to the inside of the tiles so was not going to be possible to simply remove from the existing tiles. Video and photo updates that Martin was happy to share helped demonstrate this and exactly how well the job was progressing. Justin and his team are first rate. I called them out to price repairing a flat roof on the rear extension. When the roof was originally installed a year ago, the contractor failed to install the required ventillation and failed to seal the roof properly. JWF Roofing priced the job very reasonably and met building control on site and then fixed all the issues to thecorrect standards. Very happy with the work and they left the area tidy. I cannot praise Justin and his team highly enough. Their workmanship was superb; they were courteous and professional and friendly throughout; and what I really appreciated was flexibility and helpfulness, when unforeseen problems arose (e.g. perished roof felting and rotting fascias) - they did everything possible to help resolve, working with me, adjusting their schedules to fit, looking for effective, professional but low-cost solutions. And yes, they were highly competitive on price - that's why I chose them in the first place, and I'm glad I did. Very, very highly recommended.

Jack Songhurst was brilliant. Charlotte works in the background making sure everything is well planned and communicated at every step. Charlotte let me know at each step of the way when the scaffolding would be put up , what days Jack would be on site (dry days were needed ) and when the work was complete. Jack gave me a clear understanding while on site exactly what needed to be done. Once he had completed the work he arranged for Charlotte to send me a video and picture of all the work completed, and necessary work In the future. Great local family business

I emailed Songhurst Roofing, following a recommendation about them, regarding a leak I have in my bathroom. I received a reply from Charlotte very soon after and within the week, my roof and loft were inspected by Jack, who informed me a couple of tiles were cracked. I was lucky enough to get a slot for repairs the very next day and the work is now complete. I can't thank Charlotte and Jack enough for the friendly, honest and efficient way they dealt with my issue and I would highly recommend Songhurst Roofing to anyone. They will certainly be my first contact should I ever require work in the future.

Both Charlotte in the office, and Jack on the roof, were professional, friendly and reassuring. We were not pressurised into having any extra or unnecessary work done. We will definitely use Songhurst roofing in the future if we need any further work doing.

Jack and Charlotte were great and very efficient. They replaced a rogue tile that blew off in the storm. It was precariously placed above our driveway (see photo!)and Jack came and rescued it before returning to refit it, incredibly helpful service and communication, very responsive and reasonable price as well.
