Just had my roof replaced by Dane and his team. They turned up when they said they would and they left each day cleaning up their work areas. They were courteous and professional and worked hard - supported by the fact they finished the job earlier than they planned. The quote provided was accurate, breaking down payments to align to the stages of work completed. Could not recommend them enough.

I have an old Edwardian house with a slate roof that had not been touched in over 120 years. I was very lucky to find D &S Elliott to replace it in natural slate. Dane is very knowledgeable and gave me very helpful advice. I also found his team to be very efficient and polite. All my soffits, gables, gutters and down-pipes were also replaced. They always tidied up at the end of each day and have done a fantastic job which looks great and will last for many years. I am very happy to recommend them.

I can highly recommend Barnes roofing for a very professional and efficient job replacing our fascias, soffits and guttering on our house which included having to put up scaffolding over our conservatory. Speedy, high quality work, polite, personable, but even more importantly immensely proactive especially at letting me know where things had gotten to, progress, explaining stuff so my wife and I were never in the dark about work. He identified what we needed done on our roof fast, was good humoured in getting this done and generally an all round pleasure to have about - let alone the fact he did a top class job on my roof- have recommended him to my sister!

Thanks for a great service! Our job was completed within days of the initial quote being requested. They arrived on time, were courteous and professional throughout and did a great job cleaning and clearing away the debris from our gutters. Photos of the completed job showing before and after pictures were sent that day which showed what a great job they had done. All debris was cleared and taken away. When I had a leak and not long to fix the issue I was fairly stressed but the Astral team quoted very quickly and sorted out the issue (including replacing all guttering, fascias, soffits and a row of tiles, dpc on some flat roofing areas etc.) within a week. James and his team came and did some repair work on our roof - we are very pleased with his work. We had recently moved in and were keen to get this done quickly which James was able to accommodate. The team were nice guys and always cleaned up at the end of each day. When they found more damage than expected, James showed us, was open and honest, explained his concerns and gave us a couple of options to proceed. James was great at communicating with us from the start. We would definitely use them again!

They came and looked at removing a redundant chimney stack that was for an old anthracite boiler and was flaking at the top. An appointment was made and two people removed the stack and retiled a small section of the roof. They were prompt, pleasant, efficient and tidy. A difficult job finished in a day and a half with minimum mess or fuss. Very pleasing with a sensible, reasonable price.

Great job by Dean and his guys to completely replace tiles, felt and flashing and some expert pointing. Quick, neat, tidy, great communication and the kind of re-assuring politeness and friendliness you want when people are in your house, especially as it is my elderly Mum’s house. The scaffolding company he employs were also top-notch: courteous and neat. Dean & Co. were appreciative of refreshments and we were particularly happy with the attention to detail, including cleaning up the site under the scaffolding every day, and at the end of the job, and cleaning velux windows inside and out once finished.

I really cannot recommend Dean and the team highly enough. Dean originally came to give us a quote to install Velux windows in a bedroom and the kitchen. These were installed quickly and efficiently and the rooms were left clean and clear at the end of the day. Over and above the original work, Dean also sorted out a condensation issue in the kitchen and fixed a leaking flat roof! The workmanship was excellent, done to time and with a reasonable budget.
