I would definitely recommend Astral for roofing and guttering work. I had multiple urgent problems with the roof of my house and James and his team responded quickly and within two days the work was completed. I was given several options for how to proceed and I was kept informed of progress with photos and videos which was very reassuring. The entire team were excellent throughout.

James and his team came and did some repair work on our roof - we are very pleased with his work. We had recently moved in and were keen to get this done quickly which James was able to accommodate. The team were nice guys and always cleaned up at the end of each day. When they found more damage than expected, James showed us, was open and honest, explained his concerns and gave us a couple of options to proceed. When I had a leak and not long to fix the issue I was fairly stressed but the Astral team quoted very quickly and sorted out the issue (including replacing all guttering, fascias, soffits and a row of tiles, dpc on some flat roofing areas etc.) within a week. Thomas Collins was absolutely top class. Speedy, high quality work, polite, personable, but even more importantly immensely proactive especially at letting me know where things had gotten to, progress, explaining stuff so my wife and I were never in the dark about work. He identified what we needed done on our roof fast, was good humoured in getting this done and generally an all round pleasure to have about - let alone the fact he did a top class job on my roof- have recommended him to my sister!

I have an old Edwardian house with a slate roof that had not been touched in over 120 years. I was very lucky to find D &S Elliott to replace it in natural slate. Dane is very knowledgeable and gave me very helpful advice. I also found his team to be very efficient and polite. All my soffits, gables, gutters and down-pipes were also replaced. They always tidied up at the end of each day and have done a fantastic job which looks great and will last for many years. I am very happy to recommend them.

I found Apark & Hobbs through Checkatrade as I required a roofing contractor to repair a leaking roof. I found them extremely professional and would be happy to recommend them.

I’ve had Tony over a couple of times to repair a gutter, clean them out, add a downpipe and replace some tiles. - Gutter corner with problematic brackets under exposed rafters - was overflowing - section replaced. - Downpipe added to better distribute rainfall, care taken with half hung tiles. - Slipped, broken tiles replaced inc cutting for awkward shapes. - Gutters cleared. My experience is that Tony will absolutely do a proper repair, no cutting corners and an all-round solid job. Clearly very experienced, pragmatic, quick and goes above and beyond. Very happy with the workmanship and would recommend for guttering, gutter cleaning, roof tiles and other related works.

We called in Tony and his team when cracks in various places in the exterior rendering of our house began to let in water when it rained. This was a big job requiring scaffolding around the whole house. However, the team, who were all courteous and personable did a great job in keeping disruption to a minimum and leaving the site tidy. This despite having to work around significant weather disruption. Quality of the workmanship was excellent. Leaks seem to be fixed, and house looks great. Very happy to recommend Tony and his guys.

I was delighted with the prompt and professional service received at a fair price. I also had some of the sandstone wall of my property re-grouted. The work was done in very good time and as described in our consultation. There was very little mess and the people involved were very personable. I will not hesitate to contact Tony again whenever I need work done on my house. I asked Tony to replace a broken chimney pot I had noticed by chance, and it was discovered that it had crashed onto the roof. Tony's team replaced and repaired the chimney pot and roof in a couple of days. I no longer have to worry about winter storms damaging my house.
