We asked a few roofers to quote to redo a flat roof, some gable wall cementing and some flashing. I am pleased that we chose Carl and his team at Surrey Roofing Specialists. When Carl was assessing the problem, he suggested various alternatives rather than selecting the most expensive. He was very amenable and reactive and hence I decided to give the contract to him. Carl and team were extremely professional and just so easy to deal with - it makes such a difference when you trade with such teams. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Work was finished on time, to a high standard, clean and with very minimal disruption. I then asked for Carl and team to look at the bay window roofs, and he was back the next couple of days to complete them. I would certainly use them again and recommend them to friends.

Carl in particular was generous and tenacious in his endeavours to resolve a problem which was not as simple as it first seemed. Robert and his team did a fantastic job fixing our chimneys - incredibly responsive, great communication, great quality of work. Would definitely use direct roofing in the future.

The end of our gutter had come away from the barge board and was hanging down. Robert came promptly. Unfortunately due to the position of our shed, with a ladder he could only access one end of the gutter; he made a temporary fix and said we needed a cherry picker for full access for a proper repair. Once his cherry picker was repaired he returned with brackets and carried out a full fix.

100% would recommend, struggled to find roofer who could fit in my small job of replacing some missing tiles but these guys were brilliant and had the job done in less than half an hour. Great job!

We called in Tony and his team when cracks in various places in the exterior rendering of our house began to let in water when it rained. This was a big job requiring scaffolding around the whole house. However, the team, who were all courteous and personable did a great job in keeping disruption to a minimum and leaving the site tidy. This despite having to work around significant weather disruption. Quality of the workmanship was excellent. Leaks seem to be fixed, and house looks great. Very happy to recommend Tony and his guys.

Tony's roofing came recommended by a neighbour when, after a large storm, water was leaking into my first floor office. I'm very happy with the work and my interactions with Tony. The job was done quickly and with high quality materials and workmanship -- which I'm very picky about. The work was done in very good time and as described in our consultation. There was very little mess and the people involved were very personable. I can highly recommend Barnes roofing for a very professional and efficient job replacing our fascias, soffits and guttering on our house which included having to put up scaffolding over our conservatory. Wayne is an absolute hero. Having had two broken tiles identified from our buyers survey we were asked to fix them before exchange of contracts. I had no idea whether this would be feasible before Christmas but saw Wayne working on a Neighbour’s roof, had a chat to him and within 24 hours of that chat he’s been up on our roof and fixed both tiles. Absolute legend!

We used Simmons Roofing to replace our gutters. They were polite and friendly from the initial quote all the way through to completion. They communicated well especially when they were unable to get all of the parts for the initial date. They promptly came back a couple of days later, once the parts were delivered, to finish the work. They did a great job and I would highly recommend.

Steve and his team quickly replaced a leaking membrane and then came back to convert 3 open gulley's to the new closed gulley system. Quoted for the job within 2 days and finished the work within a day - way before next rain was expected. Quality of the work great and left the site as he found it. Cant recommend these guys enough.

He came quickly to give his quote which was reasonable and fair, explaining clearly what he would do. He did not set a date saying he would squeeze the job in as soon as possible. He actually did the job faster than the lead in time offered by any of the five other companies that quoted for the job. On the day the team of four arrived on time and they worked quickly and cheerfully. They brought all the materials needed which were of good quality. I recently used just roofing to fix a leak I had between my chimney and roof. They fixed the issue for around £200 less then I'd been quoted by the other roofing companys I'd had quote the job. As soon as they'd inspected the issue and given me the quote it was the end of the issue for me. Great lads, I highly recommend using them.
