I recently had to face one of those dental experiences that many dread: a broken tooth extraction. However, I'm pleased to say that my visit to Dr. Jahnavi Metha and nurse Sushma was nothing short of excellent. Dr. Jahnavi explained the procedure in detail, making sure I understood each step. I thought I was going to be in a lot of pain. So when it was time for the numbing process and saw the needle, I prepared myself. But the process was quick and I hardly felt a thing. During the extraction of the tooth she worked efficiently, with great care and was explaining what she was doing at each step. I felt a little pressure, like she said I would, but no pain at all. Before I knew it, the tooth was out. She explained the after care and what to expect. I expected to be in pain when the anaesthesia would wear off, but again I had no pain. Overall, I can confidently say that my tooth extraction experience with Dr. Jahnavi Metha and nurse Sushma exceeded my expectations. Thank you!!! I highly recommend them.

I’ve been seeing Dr Rita Mirchandani regularly for 17 years. She is the best dentist I’ve ever seen (I’m over 50). She always offers advice, presents sensible options and most importantly she cares and takes time to do things the right way. Having seen dentists in the past who were only interested in how many more fillings they could put in my mouth, Rita has been a breath of fresh air. Under her care I’ve had a couple of fillings replaced, a root canal because there wasn’t much more she could do with the tooth, and an extraction because of an abscess in an old (pre-Rita) root canal - always a pleasure to deal with her, given her calm demeanour and never any pain with any of the procedures! She has also been wonderful with my daughter, who oat age 3 wouldn’t open her mouth for an examination. My daughter now has a wonderful mouthful of teeth and has developed excellent oral healthcare. If you’re worried about going to the dentist, Rita is the dentist you should see.

I recently had to confront a long-standing phobia of going to the dentist, and my experience at BUPA Dental Care Woking Retreat with Dr. Anita Hawksworth, and her nurses Tia and Chantelle, made all the difference. I had a tooth that was causing unbearable pain, forcing me to book an emergency appointment. I was anxious and unsure of what to expect, but booking the appointment online was simple and straightforward, and I was welcomed warmly when I arrived. Dr Anita Hawksworth immediately put me at ease. She explained everything she was going to do, making it clear that she wouldn't proceed without my consent, which made a huge difference for someone like me with a dental phobia. Unfortunately, the inspection showed that I needed to return the next day to have the tooth removed. On the day of the procedure, Dr. Anita and her team were incredibly reassuring and patient, ensuring that I was as comfortable as possible throughout. Tia and Chantelle were wonderfully understanding and caring, helping me feel more relaxed than I ever thought I could be in a dentist's chair. Radio 2 was a great chose of stations. The entire team truly went above and beyond to make sure my fears were addressed and I felt in control. For anyone out there with a fear of the dentist, I can't recommend this team enough. They are compassionate, professional, and genuinely care about your comfort. Thanks to Dr. Anita Hawksworth, Tia, Chantelle, and everyone at the practice, I have now fully recovered, and I am incredibly grateful for the way they helped me overcome a major fear. The Waterden Dental Practice was recommended to me by a friend a few years ago. It has such a lovely, friendly atmosphere! I had a root canal/crown procedure a couple of years ago with Richard / Mittal which was painless with great results (unlike a previous experience elsewhere!) I have recently had a tooth implant by Mo which I am absolutely thrilled with. He did such a good job. It’s quite an invested procedure which happens over a few months but the end result is outstanding. Mo explained everything as he went along and it wasn’t at all painful (just a bit uncomfortable at times). Thoroughly recommend!

What a great team! I used to come here years ago, but then moved away. On my return I came to Waterden, still the same, but better if possible. Mitul was gentle and so honest which I appreciated, Sachi the hygienist, definitely the best I’ve ever had and Melissa the receptionist a breath of fresh air. Highly recommend.

The very day after he made something temporary for me and a week later I have a beautiful new tooth. The whole team are polite, welcoming, helpful and absolutely fantastic. I have been going to this dentist for years and they are always friendly and calming when I have work done. They always do a good job. It is hard to find my roots and my previous dentist left a bit of root in which caused pain. Here they did a scan of my tooth and spent extra time ensuring all the roots were found and I was pain free when I left.

I recently visited Specialist Dental and was blown away by their beautiful and welcoming practice. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, which is exactly what you want when visiting a dentist.

I had the privilege of being treated by Dr. Akil, a renowned specialist in the dental world known for his research and dedication to both patients and colleagues. After losing my front teeth due to an autoimmune condition, I was understandably stressed about the implant process. However, Dr. Akil put my mind at ease, assuring me that the procedure would be straightforward—something he has done countless times before. The experience was incredible: I had my tooth removed and the implant placed immediately, all with minimal discomfort. I recently had some restorative work carried out by Akil on my front teeth and he is by far the best dentist I have ever used. Having previously had some bad experiences elsewhere, I was apprehensive to get the work done. Right from the first consultation, Akil clearly laid out the treatment plan and gave his honest opinion on the best approach. Akil is calm, friendly and a highly skilled professional. He has a great chair-side manor, which puts you at ease and ensures you are always comfortable during the treatment. The entire process was pain free. I would highly recommend Akil and his team for any general or specialist dental work.

Best place for taking implant treatment! Dentist Ricardo Rosales is very professional and takes every steps with extra care and diligence. He is also very nice and patient, which greatly eases the fears involved in the treatment and provides comfort to patient. Nurse Simona is also super good with her job & highly organized with helping book appointments! I have recently joined the practise and I am very happy with the service provided. Everyone I have dealt with has been professional, accommodating, and very friendly. I have been seeing Dr Rita Mirchandani. She is very knowledgeable, puts me at ease, and goes the extra mile to make sure I am confident and comfortable with my dental care.

I started new at this practice 3 months ago and I found the practice to be very professional and availability of appointments was good. Dr Rita and her dental nurse Nadia were very warm and welcoming. Dr Rita was very focused on prevention she took X-rays to check for cavities (thankfully none) and she took time to give me lots of dental hygiene top tips and showed me how to use the interdental tools to follow to get my gum issue under control and ensured I had the right product recommendations and where to buy them. She has been a game changer to my dental routine and dental health.

Was examined today by Dr Mokhtari who demonstrated professionalism, knowledge and quality in treatment.. would strongly recommend. Hygenist Aswathy Rajan is also excellent & thorough.

A great practice with great people who are so helpful at every step. Currently doing Invisalign treatment with Dr jacq and he has made my experience with the Invisalign treatment so easy and enjoyable throughout my journey so far. He’s the best! I would like to highly recommend the team in Dorking. I had been referred by my Horsham dentist to see Dr Pauline Lautard for Periodontal work and Sumeet Oberai for Prosthodontics composite bonding. I was anxious but l had no need to be. After Pauline numbed my gums l had no pain or discomfort throughout the procedure. With Sumeet numbing was not needed. He made me feel completely relaxed and again pain free. My teeth look very natural. I am absolutely thrilled.
