Moved here recently from a large local practice and am so pleased I did. From the very first phone call the experience was friendly and welcoming. Dr Downey is amazingly calm, gentle and patient. As a terrified patient, I had my appointment today to have a tooth removed ( a visibly front one, for which I was so upset about) Previously, james has worked on my teeth , James ( Jim) is absolutely incredible, as are all of his amazing assistants, I cannot sing praises for Arundel lodge enough, totally brilliant! Vijay and his lovely assistant today were above and beyond!!! So happy , wonderful dentists

I had an excellent experience having a check up and filling done at Arundel Lodge. The friendly and professional service from reception and Dr. Downey were top tier and the pricing throughout was transparent and fair. This clinic is a valuable asset for Dorking and I highly recommend visiting for a check up or if you have any dental issue, to get the best treatment available.

I cannot recommend Surrey Dental Specialists highly enough! After a failed root canal elsewhere, I was referred to their incredible team for specialist treatment, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Lauren at reception was wonderfully polite, accommodating, and friendly, instantly putting me at ease. From the very first interaction, I felt I was in good hands. My treatment with Vipul Kataria was nothing short of amazing. I went in feeling very nervous, but his calm and reassuring manner quickly put me at ease. He explained everything thoroughly, was incredibly gentle, and I can honestly say I didn’t feel any pain throughout the procedure. Even the anesthetic injection, which I normally dread, was completely painless—an absolute first for me! Vipul’s attention to detail and his dedication to high standards were evident throughout. The teamwork between him and the brilliant dental nurse Emma was seamless. Together, they made the entire process smooth and stress-free. To my surprise, I experienced no pain at all after the procedure—not even the day after, which I found truly remarkable. Vipul, if you ever consider moving into general dentistry (though I know it might not be challenging enough for you!), please let me know. I would sign up as your regular patient in an instant! Well, no one really likes going to the dentist… but the care and attention to detail I have received from this practice is second to none. The team at Rudgwick Dental have truly turned parts of my life around. I had lost several front lower teeth during the pandemic. Somewhat through fear of dentistry and mostly due to the costs of dentistry. However, the team are exceptionally welcoming. The prices for their treatment are fair and at no point during the processes I’ve been through with them did I feel afraid. Prior to the treatment I had hidden behind a surgical mask. This was ok during the peak of the pandemic, but it was 4 years in total and people would give me funny looks and I would find myself making excuses… Fast forward to now…I now have my smile back. I smile all the time. This has opened doors for me to have job interviews to further my career. I am so grateful for everything !! Thank you all….

My husband needed emergency treatment (broken tooth) and found reception extremely helpful and understanding offering a next day appointment. Dr Natasha Vadasz was superb and completed a repair with a recommendation of a more permanent solution in the new year. Had my regular hygienist appointment and from reception through to the appointment, as always, all was handled very professionally. I very much like the newly refurbished reception area and it perfectly sets the tone for what is a very professional practise. Traumatic dental experiences in childhood resulted in a full on phobia in adulthood, which only increased with age. Almost every procedure, including cleaning, had to be done under sedation for me to cope. The fear of having to go to the dentist could mean several sleepless nights before the appointment, and overwhelming reluctance to go. Almost all of that is now a thing of the past. I no longer dread appointments, and yesterday had the first full hygienist clean with Kate, without sedation, in over a decade. It is almost 2 years now that I have been coming to this practice. Starting with a root canal with Frederico, I was then assigned to Zo for regular dentistry. For major work I still have sedation but the terror has gone. Frederico is an expert in his field, a consummate professional and extremely reassuring. Zo must be the most gentle, understanding and supportive practitioner there is, and Kate has such patience, compassion and empathy which I have found transformative. From the nurses to the receptionists, this is an exceptional practice. Not cheap, but worth every penny. Thank you all.

I cannot begin to explain how wonderful Eva and Molly have been during my recent dental appointments. I was terrified, but really needn't have been. Eva was so brilliant at ensuring I was looked after and didn't feel pain. Molly was also brilliant at making me feel comfortable and supported. Thank you is not enough these words can not express what Paul Barns & his lovely assistant Lyn have done for me. I was referred to this practise due I needed specialist treatment from an illness that had effect my gums to the extent I was loosing my teeth at 51 this is not what you want to hear. I needed extensive gum treatment and unfortunately removal of my front tooth. The receding gums and bone loss could not support the front tooth and also an implant at this time was not an option until my gums get better and stronger. I started the treatment my tooth was removed and cleverly grafted onto the teeth either side which was great due to I had developed a large gap in my teeth, so now the gap was closed however I still had the issue of not being able to smile as I was embarrassed about my gums. I was very pleased all the treatment was working and my gums were getting better. All this had been very emotional as my daughter is getting married this year and every mum wants to be able to have a big smile on their face on that special day but this was not looking likely for me. So I thought until my dentist Paul Barnes suggested a Gingival Veneer he knew how important a smile was to me and that is exactly what he's given me my smile back but not just that also my confidence. I wish they gave out awards to dentist because he should definitely be awarded one and I just wish I could come up with the best words to express how much this means to me thank you both so very much from the bottom of my heart Paul Barns & Lyn his assistant for there support care and understanding because of a wonderful caring dentist I will have the biggest smile on the 25th June at my daughters wedding and you made this happen xx

Monica, the orthodontist, at the practice has been wonderful with my teenage daughter. She has straightened her teeth giving her a lovely smile. She obviously loves working with young people and made my daughter feel very comfortable with her regular visits. She treated her with such warmth and always involved her in any discussions. My daughter and I would thoroughly recommend her. Following my daughter’s experience, I am now seeing Monica. She explained the treatment very clearly with great visuals. She is always very open to questions and is very professional whilst also being fun.

Very happy with my implant. From the very start when my tooth broke apart when I accidentally bit hard on an olive stone, Wassim professionally removed the fragments and over the next treatments, rebuilt the bone, installed an implant and finally fitted a crown to match neighbouring teeth. I can now enjoy eating again.

Dr Rabia Satti treated me for a broken crown, it was an emergency as I had holiday booked in a couple of days time, she fitted me in at short notice and provided an excellent temporary soloution, with a sensible long term plan of action for when I come back from my holiday. I’m an extremely anxious person when it comes to the dentist and find it to be quite terrifying. Dr Patel soon put my fears to rest and explained everything to me, putting me at ease almost immediately. He explained my treatment clearly, offered me options and worked with me to work out a plan. This practice was rightly recommended to me by my wife and has been excellent. Akhil is very friendly and professional and checked my mouth out very comprehensively. The initial verdict was not great but I appreciated the honesty. I had to have a couple of extractions which I was dreading, but in the event it was all over very quickly. He numbed me up suitably without leaving me a dribbling wreck afterwards, and his post-operative care notes were very useful.
