We had a leak in our roof on the top floor loft, and it was clear that the previous work done on the roof was very poor. Thankfully, we found wayne and his amazing team, recommended by several neighbors on our street. They were able to set up scaffolding within 24 hours from my call to them, and in just two days, they completely removed the old roof and installed a new one. Their professionalism was outstanding, and they were kind and helpful throughout the entire process, answering all our questions patiently. Wayne and his team (Sonny, Wayne Jnr and Jack) replaced my loft extension flat roof and garage roof using Alwitra single ply membrane. The standard of work was excellent. Wayne and his team worked exceptionally hard, over 3 long days, to deliver the best possible job, using quality materials and without taking short cuts. I felt able to raise questions and discuss aspects of the job both before and during which was important to me. James and his team came and did some repair work on our roof - we are very pleased with his work. We had recently moved in and were keen to get this done quickly which James was able to accommodate. The team were nice guys and always cleaned up at the end of each day. When they found more damage than expected, James showed us, was open and honest, explained his concerns and gave us a couple of options to proceed. I would definitely recommend Astral for roofing and guttering work. I had multiple urgent problems with the roof of my house and James and his team responded quickly and within two days the work was completed. When I had a leak and not long to fix the issue I was fairly stressed but the Astral team quoted very quickly and sorted out the issue (including replacing all guttering, fascias, soffits and a row of tiles, dpc on some flat roofing areas etc.) within a week. Martin and Jack came around to quote for a new roof. We had a few of quotes from different companies but Martin and Jack stood head and shoulders above their competition. It was their personalities and professionalism that won the day for us. Compared to the others, they were extraordinarily confidence inspiring and didn’t talk the talk of excrement from a four legged farm animal. Our main contact was Martin, and he was very communicative about start dates and details we needed specifying in our job. Upon commencement of the work, Martin and Jack’s team were an absolute pleasure to have round. By the end of the job, I felt like we had highly skilled new friends, and their interactions with our neighbours ensured their work could be done to the highest standards without interference and concerns from people we have to live with. The work done was very much needed, and included spray foam removal. The foam hid some problems, which was anticipated, but the extent of them was unknown, hidden by the foam. The team handled problems upon discovery in a very transparent manner, providing photos and excellent explanations of the issue and plans to fix them. All this was done while honouring the price quoted, which was fair and slightly reduced to maintain competitiveness with the prior mentioned quotes received. Martin, and the team recently completely reroofed our entire house. This was necessary due to loft insulation foam putting a pause on our house sale. We were tight for time (seeking to keep our buyers interested) and so took the recommendation of using Surrey Roofs from a friend. The turnaround time and understanding Martin and team showed was fantastic and we were really pleased with the way the whole job was managed. The foam was bonded directly to the inside of the tiles so was not going to be possible to simply remove from the existing tiles. Video and photo updates that Martin was happy to share helped demonstrate this and exactly how well the job was progressing. We asked a few roofers to quote to redo a flat roof, some gable wall cementing and some flashing. I am pleased that we chose Carl and his team at Surrey Roofing Specialists. When Carl was assessing the problem, he suggested various alternatives rather than selecting the most expensive. He was very amenable and reactive and hence I decided to give the contract to him. Carl and team were extremely professional and just so easy to deal with - it makes such a difference when you trade with such teams. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Work was finished on time, to a high standard, clean and with very minimal disruption. I then asked for Carl and team to look at the bay window roofs, and he was back the next couple of days to complete them. I would certainly use them again and recommend them to friends.

Carl is courteous and professional. His men turned up, did the job fast and left no mess. There was an issue after with my hatch not shutting, which one of his men kindly tried to address even though not a carpenter. Alas not successful. Carl was totally accountable and professional, sending a proper carpenter to sort asap. All good! I highly recommend him, and star his service 10/10 as a result of this.

Thomas Collins was absolutely top class. Speedy, high quality work, polite, personable, but even more importantly immensely proactive especially at letting me know where things had gotten to, progress, explaining stuff so my wife and I were never in the dark about work. Great care and attention were given to this project from start to finish. Replacing the non-standard skylights presented several challenges. Dean consistently opted for a higher quality, perfectionist approach rather than taking easier shortcuts. He and his team clearly have extensive experience with various roof constructions and are adept in both interior and exterior work. The result is a set of skylights that are securely fitted and look fantastic. The seamless integration with the original upstands is truly impressive.

Great job by Dean and his guys to completely replace tiles, felt and flashing and some expert pointing. Quick, neat, tidy, great communication and the kind of re-assuring politeness and friendliness you want when people are in your house, especially as it is my elderly Mum’s house. The scaffolding company he employs were also top-notch: courteous and neat. Dean & Co. were appreciative of refreshments and we were particularly happy with the attention to detail, including cleaning up the site under the scaffolding every day, and at the end of the job, and cleaning velux windows inside and out once finished.

We needed our fascias, gutters and soffits replaced. We got a great quote from Homefront Roofline Surrey Ltd, who were knowledgeable and friendly, not too pushy and said there was no need to pay a deposit, we could pay them on completion of the work. The work was meant to start the week of 'The beast from the East 2', which hit Surrey with lots of snow, ice and freezing wind chill. Greg called us the night before and we agreed to postpone the work by a couple of days. After the snow had stopped Greg and his team of friendly, professional guys arrived and started setting up the scaffolding, with relative ease. We have a large conservatory out back, but this was not a problem and they carefully raised their scaffolding over it offering plenty of protection. They then went about taking down the old fascias, gutters and soffits and replacing them with new oakwood style UPVC, which looked fantastic. Throughout the time they were at our property the team were helpful, friendly, adhered to the social distancing rules and despite the bitter freezing cold wind that was blowing (at one point it was -8C), they went about doing a fantastic job. When the job was done, they removed all the rubbish and left our house the way they found it. We are really pleased with everything they have done for us and we would highly recommend Greg and his team at Homefront Roofline Surrey Ltd to anyone wanting new fascias, gutters and soffits replaced.
