The new roof has transformed our room, it’s gone from a really cold space in winter, and really hot in summer, to a more useable space (hopefully) all year round. The team were really hard working and worked through the cold weather continuously. Lawrence was great project managing with a few hurdles (like winter storms) overcome. Communication throughout was great! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hestia Home Improvements.

Really happy with the conservatory roof, I can notice the difference now we’re in the colder months, wish I got it done sooner, the work was carried out in a professional manner, and they worked hard all day to secure and make the roof water tight before it rained, the workers respected my property by keeping it as clean as possible, from start Ed came around to measure up, and gave me a very good price, no hard sell and was very confident in his product and gave me time to make my decision. Considered a 4 star... We had Hestia for two jobs - the glass roof replacement was excellent - consultation, customer relationship, workmen's skill and attitude (nice guys, just cracked on with the job). Upfront and honest about the (very competitive) price, no hard sell or badmouthing other firms (who I found did this a lot) - just focused on what they do well. It took a few days but I really wanted the 'proper roof' installation Hestia offers (including measuring and cutting materials on site for a superior fit rather than factory made panels) and I will say that this has definitely made a big difference to the temperature on both hot and cold days - I'm dubious glass solutions would have worked so well. If I had to find a fault I'd say that other companies offer more in the way of technical drawings - whereas Hestia you have to trust it's going to look good and work out right - but it did! Would 100% book again if I was starting all over - great job. Following this we booked a second job - replacing internal French doors. This seemed to be subcontracted to another firm and they were a pain - missed measuring appointments with no notice, took weeks to confirm an installation date, didn't turn up for install on the expected day. To be fair the workmanship was of a good standard once done - and Hestia seemed to do their best to rectify. If you're a bit more relaxed about planning you may not be so worried, given the end result was good. If your glass-roof conservatory is too hot or too cold or has any other issues - just get Hestia to build you a proper roof, you won't regret it. We now have a truly usable year-round space.

Just a small guttering repair so Lyle fitted us in as soon as he was working in our area and fixed the problem on the spot - and added some extra missing screws while he was up the ladder. Quick, efficient, helpful. Definitely our 'go to' for any future work.

I needed to replace battons and failed membrane on my roof before installing solar panels, I had four roofing companies come round to give me a quote, I decided to go with Berkshire Surrey roofing based on Steve's knowledge, he knew exactley what needed to be done and explained the whole process to me. Their quote was very comptetive as well. The work was completed to high standard by Steve's team, they communicated with me throughout and they cleaned up once the jobs was finished so I'm very happy.

Very impressed with Steve and his team. I found a water stain in my downstairs hallway and checked in the loft and found a hole in the felt and broken tile. Steve came over and quoted a great price compared to others in my area ( some quoted me for unnecessary work, I found)and he was able to do the repair that day. Delighted with Steve and his team. He comes across as an honest hard working man who is eager to please. He came quickly to give his quote which was reasonable and fair, explaining clearly what he would do. He did not set a date saying he would squeeze the job in as soon as possible. He actually did the job faster than the lead in time offered by any of the five other companies that quoted for the job. On the day the team of four arrived on time and they worked quickly and cheerfully. They brought all the materials needed which were of good quality. Steve was on hand to answer my questions and explain what they were doing. They tidied up as they went along. They did extra bits to get the job finished professionally. The job was finished off to a high standard and l am very pleased with the result. The whole experience with Steve and his team was excellent, l have no hesitation in recommending him.

Excellent job carried out by a great team of very hard working guys. Cleared the roof of 30 plus years of moss and then after showing me photographs of urgent work needed it was completed without delay. Henry and his team came promptly to clear and repair our gutters, unfortunately we had more serious problems with our roof, which Henry explained and took photos to show us, once we agreed to have the work completed, Henry's team came on time and were very polite, friendly and professional, they completed all the work to a high standard and were clean and tidy. We were kept updated by Henry and shown photos during and after the work.

Time will tell, but atm delighted with the work done by Henry and his team, and the experience. They have replaced, retilled and repaired our leaking and rotten Dormer on our aging roof. Henry was open throughout, knowing what a customer needs (not wants) to hear. He proactively kept us informed, being open with what was needed and being confident to show close up his team's work, as they progressed. His guys were punctual, hardworking and very curtious. I had 2 quotes and needed to make sure I had all the right gear , Junior was efficient, and very helpful , a positive bloke and I would highly recommend him, I was going to do trips in my van with all the gear but he helped me out on the cost for delivery and it’s on its way !! Spot on , definitely worth the service given!!
