Considered a 4 star... We had Hestia for two jobs - the glass roof replacement was excellent - consultation, customer relationship, workmen's skill and attitude (nice guys, just cracked on with the job). Upfront and honest about the (very competitive) price, no hard sell or badmouthing other firms (who I found did this a lot) - just focused on what they do well. It took a few days but I really wanted the 'proper roof' installation Hestia offers (including measuring and cutting materials on site for a superior fit rather than factory made panels) and I will say that this has definitely made a big difference to the temperature on both hot and cold days - I'm dubious glass solutions would have worked so well. If I had to find a fault I'd say that other companies offer more in the way of technical drawings - whereas Hestia you have to trust it's going to look good and work out right - but it did! Would 100% book again if I was starting all over - great job. Following this we booked a second job - replacing internal French doors. This seemed to be subcontracted to another firm and they were a pain - missed measuring appointments with no notice, took weeks to confirm an installation date, didn't turn up for install on the expected day. To be fair the workmanship was of a good standard once done - and Hestia seemed to do their best to rectify. If you're a bit more relaxed about planning you may not be so worried, given the end result was good. If your glass-roof conservatory is too hot or too cold or has any other issues - just get Hestia to build you a proper roof, you won't regret it. We now have a truly usable year-round space.

Really pleased with Hestia from start to finish. I was kept well informed during every part of the process of replacing my conservatory roof. All the guys involved were clean and tidy and friendly. Also if anybody is considering a replacement conservatory roof, go for it, the room is now much warmer and looks much more inviting

The new roof has transformed our room, it’s gone from a really cold space in winter, and really hot in summer, to a more useable space (hopefully) all year round. The team were really hard working and worked through the cold weather continuously. Lawrence was great project managing with a few hurdles (like winter storms) overcome. Communication throughout was great! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hestia Home Improvements.

The whole team from start to finish did an excellent job in converting our conservatory roof. I can't believe how quickly the guys managed to dismantle the old roof and manufacture the new roof. They cleaned up every day and were so friendly. The room has transfromed the space and we just wish we had done it earlier. The price we paid was also very competative to other companies that we had quote, the job they have done is excellent. The building inspector also commented on what a fantastic job that's been done compared to some other companies that he has viewed. I would 100% recommending them and already have passed their card onto friends.

I had 2 quotes and needed to make sure I had all the right gear , Junior was efficient, and very helpful , a positive bloke and I would highly recommend him, I was going to do trips in my van with all the gear but he helped me out on the cost for delivery and it’s on its way !! Delighted with Steve and his team. He comes across as an honest hard working man who is eager to please. He came quickly to give his quote which was reasonable and fair, explaining clearly what he would do. He did not set a date saying he would squeeze the job in as soon as possible. He actually did the job faster than the lead in time offered by any of the five other companies that quoted for the job. On the day the team of four arrived on time and they worked quickly and cheerfully. They brought all the materials needed which were of good quality. Steve was on hand to answer my questions and explain what they were doing. They tidied up as they went along. They did extra bits to get the job finished professionally. Really pleased with the work done to replace some leaking guttering joins and a broken bracket - and to clear all the gutters. Steve came round the morning after I called to check what was needed, gave a very fair price and the work was done on the agreed date. Excellent service by Steve and his guys - will definitely use them in the future.

Very impressed with Steve and his team. I found a water stain in my downstairs hallway and checked in the loft and found a hole in the felt and broken tile. Steve came over and quoted a great price compared to others in my area ( some quoted me for unnecessary work, I found)and he was able to do the repair that day. We are very pleased with the new flat roof. The job was done tidily, with vast amount of waste material being taken to the tip as they worked. The task actually became somewhat larger than anticipated and involved a revised quote. This was due to finding the original roofing had become porous and consequently soaked the internal insulation, all of which had to be replaced as well. Even with the additional work the job was completed in the original timescale. Communication throughout the process was excellent.

We chose to use Henry and his team as they are local tradespeople in our area. Henry's team were very professional, tidy and did excellent work to our roof and gutters. Will definitely be using Henry again when the time comes and I highly recommend him and his team.

Time will tell, but atm delighted with the work done by Henry and his team, and the experience. They have replaced, retilled and repaired our leaking and rotten Dormer on our aging roof. Henry was open throughout, knowing what a customer needs (not wants) to hear. He proactively kept us informed, being open with what was needed and being confident to show close up his team's work, as they progressed. His guys were punctual, hardworking and very curtious. Excellent job carried out by a great team of very hard working guys. Cleared the roof of 30 plus years of moss and then after showing me photographs of urgent work needed it was completed without delay. Chris and his team do an excellent job and work really hard. Chris was very prompt with giving a quote and getting the work underway. They did a very professional job replacing the entire guttering and a lot of roof work. My wife and I are very pleased with the service provided.
