Tom has provided the highest levels of customer service and professionalism, being punctual, responsive, tidy, respectful of us and our home, not to mention being knowledgeable, highly skilled, dependable and carrying the work out to a high standard. He also recommended a plasterer who we were similarly pleased with. We have a few more jobs booked in with Tom, and we won’t be looking elsewhere for help with future works. Thank you Tom! His skills as a craftsman are first class from bespoke carpentry to more heavy duty foundation work in the garden. A recent example of his excellence and high standards are on show every day in our house: Tom built a dividing wall to screen off our lounge. It is inch-perfect, seamless and has made the downstairs space work so much better in a busy house. Tom is courteous and mindful of you and your home when he is there. He is reliable and a good communicator about the work that he is doing for you. He is tidy, too. Tom is the tradesperson that I've been looking for since buying my house 3 years ago. He originally came to quote for fitting internal doors and I've since gone back to him for creating shelving in my boiler cupboard, boarding my loft (and fitting a new ladder), fitting a new kitchen tap and fixing my porch with new boarding. Whatever the job is, whether small or big, Tom gives the same professionalism and high standards, he works hard and diligently, he's such a nice person to be around and he's trustworthy. It's so important to me to have someone that I trust and have confidence in to do a good job and Tom is that person. He gets my top marks and I'd recommend him for any job.

Brilliant service provided by Tom from A24 Property Maintenance. He removed an old shower enclosure and installed a new one for us and I can thoroughly recommend him. The job was carried out cleanly and professionally. I would definitely use A24 for any further work.

We've used SM Carpentry for a number of jobs and most recently a new front door installation with draft excluder and fitting a kitchen with a new boiler cupboard. The job he's done was fantastic. He goes above and beyond and never cuts corners. Would 100% recommend and will continue to use for future jobs.

Really good experience. It was great to find a well established company that was not only prepared to take on a small bespoke job, but did quality work and was also reasonably priced. They treated us, and the job, with respect and professionalism. The job itself was building a bespoke hallway cupboard which they did really nicely. It looks great and fits perfectly in the space.

Richard and his team were great when we called them up to repair some rotting timbers on our 400yr old cottage! They took everything on their stride and kept us informed every step. They were clean and tidy, and completed the job on time and budget. Richard also returned at short notice a few weeks later when we found another very rotten timber. All work was carried out to an exceptional standard and blends in with the original wall perfectly. Highly recommended, and worth waiting for.

I cannot recommend Oliver Smith Carpentry more highly. He and his team are part of a new generation of professionals - fastidious, careful, super-professional and serious about their work, unquestionably trustworthy, always cleaning up at the end of the day. We just wanted our garage converted into a useable space, what we now have is a fabulous room - thoroughly insulated, fireproof, airy, pleasant and handed over niggle free. It's a pleasure to be in there. All through the process (only 3 weeks) Oliver and his team worked hard, always on time, always calm and responsive to our requests and last-minute changes of mind. I just wish we had more projects for him to do as I'd book him like a shot. (and, truthfully, this is an unbiased review - we did not know Oliver before this job).

Ollie and team built a great looking, quality, home garden office room/building. Built to a really quality spec that will last a long time, this professional team completed the build on time, and price. Ollie was flexible where I wanted to add some small extras and increase the size a little; a true bespoke build. Focus Carpentry (Luke) are a fantastic little Gem of a tradesperson to keep in your armoury. Luke communicated well with us throughout the duration of his work and it was completed, on time and on budget (his prices were well bellow competitive quotes). Luke is a master of his trade in my opinion. He cared about the works that he did for us and was a pleasure to have around the house I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Luke and the services that he provides. Luke did an excellent job of fixing a new internal door and realigning another door that was not closing properly. Luke also helped fix a pillar in the porch area as well as mounting security devices in my home. We are very pleased with the quality of Luke's work, his friendliness and willingness to take on last minute requests, all at reasonable rates. We hope to use him again and would recommend him without hesitation.

Ben & Craig from Howard and Sturt make a brilliant team - efficient, hard working, tidy and professional. Any other trades people involved in the project have also delivered the same high standards. They have done a superb job fitting our new kitchen as well as carrying out some work in the garden (which included decking and creating a bench) and we are delighted with both. They offer very competitive prices without compromising on standard and have delivered excellent attention to detail throughout. Ben and Craig totally transformed our house.
