One word. PERFECT. We cannot thank Helen enough for everything she helped with! We hired Helen for on the day coordination but she was so so much more than that! From helping with the finer details of our day to always going the extra mile in everything she did we felt at ease and stress free. Having Helen felt like having a friend, it's clear she has alot of passion for what she does.

We cannot thank Helen enough for all the support she gave us on the lead up to our wedding, but more importantly, on the day. We hired Helen to do the ‘day-co-ordination’ but she was always there beforehand to ask any questions or just run ideas past. Helen also supplied the table service staff which was great to have all logistics under Helen herself. The knowledge and passion Helen has for these events is very clear and we know that the day wouldn’t have run as smoothly if we didn’t have her there. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

We hired Helen as our “day of” wedding coordinator but luckily for us it was more like “month of”. My wife and I wanted to plan everything but then we needed help with the lead up to and the day of our wedding. Helen swooped in a month before our wedding and helped us SO much. I was very nervous and anxious about the day going well and Helen was the reason why it went perfectly. She is absolutely fantastic at what she does and I’m so grateful. Several wedding guests sought us out to tell us “that Helen lady was amazing!” She was always close by for anything that needed doing and was gracefully orchestrating the whole day with calm confidence. She was exactly who we needed.

We used h squared for our wedding in July 2024 and we honestly can’t recommend them enough! It was a very “DIY” day so we were worried about switching off from planning mode to just enjoy it. Helen put us at ease in the lead up, advising and helping with issues and Isobel could not have been more helpful in the week leading up to the wedding and the day itself. She was around in the lead up and helped us anticipate potential issues before they arose. She was in control of the whole day but somehow blended into the background. We were aware of her being there keeping everything ticking along without feeling like we were being ordered around. If you are planning any event any time soon, h squared is the way to go, what a team! She even found out our favourite drinks and met us at the end of the aisle with them (photo attached!) To Have & To Hire did our decoration for our 2 day wedding at Buxted Park Hotel and East Sussex National. They did such an amazing job on both days to help our vision come to life, but what impressed us the most, was our multicultural wedding for the second day. We were wanting a traditional Asian set-up and specifically after a “Mandap” which they had never done before. The Mandap looked incredible and was exactly what we wanted. It wowed all the guests and the centrepieces looked incredible too with some people thinking that the flowers were real! A massive thank you to Sara, Michelle and the team for being the best, super helpful and very communicative throughout the whole process. It helped to make planning a 2-day wedding seamless.

We used TH&TH for some decorative elements at our wedding in Sussex in August and could not be happier with the service. We chose to hire some floral/decorative elements as well as a lounge set for the barn style venue and the pieces worked so well with our theme - the photo spot which was decorated by the team was particularly popular with our guests and we've got some amazing photos and memories. Thank you to all the team for helping to add those special finishing touches to our day.

We were recommended by upwaltham barns (our chosen venue) to use to have and to hire. We are so glad we did! Everything turned out perfectly. I had my wedding on 31st October 2024 so wanted to go with the autumnal theme with a few pumpkins added. They did not disappoint, everything was beautiful. To Have and To Hire Events were fantastic decorating Upwaltham Barns for our November wedding. The team were amazing putting up all of the draping and fairy lights around the venue which made it look so magical. All of our guests commented on the aesthetic and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. The team were also so friendly on the lead up to the day and were helpful with any queries we had. They even custom made our table plan with antlers we provided! Highly recommend this company for all types of events including weddings.

When we first visited House of Styling's barn, we were blown away by the range or different items and themes available to rent for our special day. Kirsty took care to listen to what we wanted and came up with a quote for us that we were able to amend as time went on and we knew more about what we wanted for our wedding. Kirsty always responded to emails quickly and was willing to have phone calls too for me to run through questions before the big day. I worried about being "in the way" when we were putting out our own few bits and pieces or collecting them and she was very reassuring that it was our day and that they were there to support us. Kirsty and Laura make a great team and seem to really care about the detail of what they're doing, I was so pleased with the work that they had done and the care and effort they put into making sure our venue looked just like I imagined!

Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Communication was brilliant throughout with Kirsty, and no question or request was too much! The styling for our special day ticked every single box for us, and the venue staff and even the registrar kept saying they had never seen New Place Hotel styled so well. The colour scheme and style we had imagined in our heads - Kirsty and the team made it happen! From start to finish a 5 star service and I would highly recommend!

We hired lots of Ella’s items to bring our wedding vision to life and also asked her to coordinate our day at Grittenham Barn. We always say it’s the best money we spent, she set various items up for us, most notably the ceremony area, took a lovely video of everything that I cherish. We weren’t sure our venue would coordinate and didn’t think our best men and bridesmaids would do it so using Ella was just dreamy. She made everything perfect.

Ella supplied us with some beautiful decorations and lawn games for our wedding last month, and also assisted with setting up and styling the venue. She was so lovely and helpful and as a beautiful selection of props and decor, it was hard to choose what we wanted!

We had our wedding at The Barn at Avington last week and it was honestly perfect. The venue has the perfect mix of outdoor and indoor space to personalise and make your own and the location is beautiful. Beth is absolutely amazing and will help make your ideas come to life! We couldn't thank her enough for helping make our wedding day the day it was. It was such a fun, relaxed day and we've had (and still getting) so many compliments from our friends and family.

I used Elizabeth James for a New Year’s Eve party I was working on for Raggy&Boo. I ordered a glitter backdrop and multiple orb balloons as well as a balloon arch, all were absolutely brilliant. Leading up to the event the correspondence was perfect as well as on the day of the installation. The team were on time and quick to setup. I will certainly use Elizabeth James again.

Could not have asked for a better dance floor and light arrangement for our wedding. The dance floor with LED lights looked amazing and the large light up letters looked great. Working with Elizabeth Jane Events was also simple, super professional and an excellent experience. On the wedding day, the set up was so slick - they only had an hour between dinner finishing and dancing started. I didn't even notice the transition!! No issues at all. Everything was collected on time and with no issues the following day. Would highly recommend!

We hired large letters spelling ‘MR & MRS WILLIS’ for the dance floor of our wedding. They were perfect and just what we had in mind. Really added to the photos! We were very impressed with how easy delivery and collection was. Thank you so much!

We adored everything about having Elizabeth James Events be apart of our Wedding. Everything provided looked amazing and we were so happy with it, especially the Festoon Frame. It created the cozy atmosphere we wanted for the ceremony and the show stopper backdrop for us at the wedding breakfast. It then was perfectly positioned for our evening guests as a backdrop photo op, so a real focal point throughout the day! Thank you for letting our florist add the flowers on, it was simply perfect! The light up love letters were a great feature for the dancefloor, and the light up love heart made a stunning addition to our decoration at the sweet table we had. The communication before was also spot on - with prompt replies and being so helpful answering all our questions.

Apollo organised our wedding for us and are quite simply brilliant at what they do - we could not have pulled off such a beautiful wedding without them! We were initially a little daunted by the prospect of organising a wedding, however we needn’t have been. Tim took all the stress out of the planning process and the day itself, which allowed us to just enjoy it and do all the exciting things! Tim has an excellent knowledge of and rapport with suppliers - we felt we had the best of everything with none of the hassle of trying to find caterers, marquee companies etc. He also has a great eye for detail and very much had us as a couple in mind when coming up with ideas, so the day really reflected our personalities. Tim was invaluable on the day itself and we felt so looked after - something you don’t often feel as bride and groom, being so conscious about everything and everyone else. He is also very personable and great fun - each time we met with him we felt so excited about our plans materialising. His team are all fab and added to the atmosphere on the day. We are so grateful to Apollo for putting together the most special day of our lives!

We had a simple wedding at the beginning of March 2024 and didn't want a lot of decor - Victoria immediately understood what we needed and made sure that it was simple and classic but beautiful too. It ended up perfectly complimenting our style, and we had lots of compliments about how the space looked. Victoria was really easy to deal with, very friendly, and I would absolutely recommend!

We had our wedding a couple of weeks ago (02nd November), with an Autumnal theme during the day which turned into a bit more of a Fiesta vibe in the evening. We got in contact with Victoria fairly early on and explained our vision in terms of decor, and she was so on board, communicative and helpful in taking our vision, and helping us to implement it - sending images of things she had in stock with prices, as well as suggesting which bits we could potentially do ourselves if we had the time. The Autumnal trees, and cake arch in particular really complemented and enhanced the theme during the day and helped to make the cake stand out, and the touches to the evening decor such as the ribbon wall and fake candles for memory table (Offrenda) really helped create the fiesta atmosphere we wanted! Victoria was very friendly, easy to work with and we would definitely recommend her for anyone looking for help or ideas on decor!

I can’t express how happy we were with the amazing work that Victoria did on our wedding venue decoration. She went above and beyond for us and nothing was too much trouble! She went out of her way to understand what our vision was for the day and discussed various options as well as giving us some amazing ideas that we hadn’t even considered. I always go to this shop for my kids birthday balloons! Their balloons last for ages! (literally, I end up having to pop them after a month as they're still bobbing around my house!). They have a great variety of not only balloons but cards, decorations, fancy dress, party bag gifts, bouncy castle hire... the list is endless! If they haven't got something you'll be guaranteed they'll know where to get it! I'm lucky to have this shop in the same village I live in, but even if they weren't I'd happily travel! Parking is really easy and staff really friendly! Highly recommend!

Great service and great quality. These balloons were bought on 30April for my sons birthday on the Sunday. Picture 1 taken on the Sunday so 1 day old. Picture 2 taken today 29.5 and still going strong!!!!

A big thank you to Paul and Danielle. My daughter had her baby shower earlier this year and in typical form, she does not follow tradition. In this I mean that she is having a baby boy but she has not decorated the nursery in blue and nor did she want much of anything in blue moving forward. This set us a challenge for the baby shower. Her color theme is sage green, mustard yellow and burnt orange. Her best friend and I visited the shop a few weeks ago and Danielle was very helpful and came up with the nearest options they had available during these difficult times of stock shortages they are experiencing, they were almost spot on. We also came away with some cute green baby shower napkins for the cupcakes. We were offered a cup of tea by Paul whilst we had the discussion and were shown various examples and options. On collection last Friday, Paul was very helpful in getting them into the car and sending me on my way with advice on how to store them to ensure they would be at their best for the Sunday.
