When planning our wedding, we explored several wedding planners, but SW Events stood out by a mile with their enthusiasm, excitement, and energy. LaToya, Hemali, and Ajay form a fantastic team of friendly, funny, and reliable professionals. They not only captured the essence of the wedding we envisioned (we are very particular and fussy!) but also saw it through to completion with smiles and laughter along the way. Throughout the year of planning, through constant meetings and emails, they were there every step of the way to guide us and help us plan. Their attention to detail meant no stone was left unturned, and no detail was missed. Whether it was through aisleplanner, emails or whatsapp, communication with the team was always easy, and they were always there when we needed them. Their level of professionalism and dedication is exceptional. It truly felt like they were personally invested in ensuring our wedding was perfect. Honestly the best decision we could have made when it came to planning our wedding day! Also both LaToya and Ajay are fantastic and such lovely people to work with. For us, it felt they listened to everything we said, every aspiration and idea and then they made it happen! Planning When we started to think about planning our wedding we were unsure whether we needed a planner, and after speaking to a couple of wedding planners we were put off by limitations some of them imposed, but then we spoke with LaToya. Following our first call with LaToya our minds completed changed. We spoke frankly, we spoke about budgets / expectations and importantly we spoke about what we want our wedding to be like and not what we wanted it to be like. LaToya understood us from the get go and also her energy and enthusiasm is infectious. When meeting Ajay the first time, we saw the balance in his practical thinking, we knew why they work so well as a team. Re-planning We are very grateful for the wedding they created with us, it was beyond our expectations and looked and felt amazing. Their experience in wedding planning shone through when it came to working with suppliers and also the little details of the day - there are far too many examples to give. Even with the pandemic and several iterations of wedding format, guest numbers, restriction requirements, floor planning, etc, LaToya and Ajay kept us calm and more often knew more about what the wedding restriction guidelines meant before others. Partly because how hands on they are in the wedding sector, championing the suppliers in the sector and the bride/grooms. On the day The day ran so smoothly from our perspective, and that of the guests - it was a dream! That was down to SW Events team being so detailed focused and also being so calm on the day (they were probably running around putting out fires in the background, but for everyone involved and our guests it was a stress free event - our guests have commented positively about pretty much every aspect of the day. Ajay, you almost got a variety show, we think the creativity and vision we created for a seated reception was nothing anyone could have expected and it was such a treat for everyone - this is down to both your creativity but also experience with weddings and venues to pull it off. Tash is without a doubt the most incredible wedding planner you can work with. She planned, created and executed the most incredible wedding day for us - she removed all stress from the process, meaning we could properly enjoy the build up and the day itself. Tash is incredibly calm, organised and efficient - no ask is too much. There are so many behind the scenes activity that Tash deals with and handles on her own minimising all stress for people hosting the wedding/party. From the moment we met her via zoom, her calm composure and understanding of what James and I wanted from our day (even when we weren’t entirely sure ourselves!) made us feel completely relaxed as we knew we were in the hands of a total pro. Always reassuring, Tash was also happy to listen to our concerns and come up with alternative solutions. On the day itself, we were both able to just sit back and enjoy - it was honestly the best day of our lives and a huge part of that is down to Tash and her team. From the moment we met Tash (Natasha) we knew we were in safe hands. Tash has an amazing ability to appear calm at all times. I’m sure there were times when she didn’t feel that calm but she never passed anything onto her clients. Tash is a true professional. We were involved at every stage. As a result, as Mother of the Bride, I was able to enjoy the whole process up to and including the day itself. There was never a cross word between my daughter and I as Tash dealt with any query. Tash is the best wedding planner ever. From the moment we spoke back in 2021, we knew she was the one to snap up, with her calming aura and can-do attitude. Nothing was ever too much trouble and she completely understood our vision and made our dreams come to life. No detail was missing and the attention to detail on the day was second to none. During the planning process, she kept us updated at all times, and if there was ever a problem, she'd inform us with her calming approach and always have a solution. I have been to three ByChenai events as a guest now, a wedding and two birthday parties and they were all well run, organised, beautifully decorated and guests feel taken care of! I don’t know how they do it but I know who I’ll go to should I have an event

We cannot recommend Chenai enough!! As soon as we found her website we knew she would be the perfect person to plan our wedding. The team were on top of everything the whole way through the planning process which meant that we were completely stress-free. Chenai has an amazing way of knowing what you want better than you do and brought all of our vague ideas to life! Even down to having some Ghanaian flare at our otherwise traditional, English wedding. We had the pleasure of having Chenai, Tariq and Aaron with us on our wedding day meaning that everything went off without a hitch and we knew that everything was taken care of, enabling us to relax and enjoy the day.

I contacted Chenai after my wedding had been postponed due to covid. I had lost all enthusiasm in wedding planning and needed support and advice mainly for styling! Chenai was so supportive and created a design board after listening to my ideas and making some beautiful suggestions. I fell in love with planning the wedding again, and felt confident that everything was going to look beautiful without the worry that things may not work the way I had imagined. Chenai eliminated all the stress. Our wedding was perfect. My only regret is not finishing ByChenai Events sooner.

We cannot speak highly enough of Chenai - she genuinely is the best at what she does. Her attention to detail and ability to instil a sense of calm across a stressful period is truly amazing. The greatest thing about our working relationship with Chenai is that she has now become a friend of ours. She stepped in at a time where a former wedding planner that we had was creating a lot of stress and not meeting our requirements, and Chenai came in and completely stabilised and enhanced the process.
