We live in California and my daughter got engaged to a man in Somerset. How does one plan a wedding from across the Pond?? You call Georgi at Scarlett Rose Events that's how! We stumbled upon her website and instantly felt safe and comfortable entrusting her with my daughter's most important day. Georgi helped us find wonderful vendors, guided us through British wedding customs and legal considerations, spent hours on Facetime getting to know our vision and even helped us plan a Hen do and rehearsal dinner. She took care of all the details and made sure the wedding day itself went flawlessly. We know we never could have accomplished what we did without her gentle guidance and amazing spreadsheets. We thank you Scarlett Rose Events for the most amazing wedding we could have ever hoped for.

We were planning an outdoors wedding and Georgi at Scarlett Rose Events was extremely accommodating when we only wanted to hire sashes for our chairs. Georgi was so friendly to talk to when we were organising it and I felt like that part of our wedding decor was in safe hands. When the British weather decided to give us rain on our wedding day, Georgi stepped in last minute and allowed us to move our wedding inside and provided the most beautiful wedding arch dressed for our ceremony. It looked amazing and can only thank Georgi for coming to our rescue and creating such a beautiful wedding space. I would 100% recommend Georgi if you are after decor and set up for your event. The only reason why we didn’t hire more items from Georgi is because we just didn’t need it but her stock looks beautiful.

What can I say. Georgie and the Team of Scarlet Rose Events are just amazing to work with. Their attention to detail’s are second to none. The events I have worked with them on have been amazing, and have flowed smoothly from start to finish. Friendly and approachable in a professional way. Georgie is every clients dream and I can’t wait to work with her and her team again soon.

A truly wonderful retreat, set in gorgeous countryside. The decor of the house is tasteful and calming. Lots of different spaces for people to enjoy - great kitchen, dinning room and lounge for larger groups & snug bar for hiding away in. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. Christina and the team were very welcoming and helpful. I Wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

I wish I could add more stars! We got married at Abbots Court in May 2023 and I can't recommend it enough as a wedding venue. The house and grounds are absolutely breath-taking in the middle of the countryside and are maintained to the highest standard. We loved that there were so many options from the Victorian Barn for the ceremony, to the gardens for reception drinks to the pavilion for dinner and party and then the house (and the glamping pods!) for the after party. Having our family and friends stay in the house the night before with its huge kitchen, dining room and hot tub and then also in the glamping style pods on the night was amazing and kept the party going in the house bar! Having so many options allowed several people to stay on site which allowed the wedding to go on all weekend. One of the highlights of our wedding was the organisation in the run up to and on the day. This is all down to Cat and her amazing team who expertly put up with all my queries and worries and made everything run smoothly. I cannot thank them enough for making our wedding dreams come true. A truly special venue and we couldn't ask for more. Thank you to everyone involved.

We got married at Abbots Court in September 2023 and want to do it all over again! Cat was so helpful both the day before and on the wedding day setting everything up. We wouldn't have known where to start but she coordinated us all very well. Cat also kept our stress and nerves as low as she could on Wednesday which definitely got us through the ceremony!! The venue was absolutely stunning and the gardens were beautiful. You made it possible for us to have the relaxed and fun day we wanted. It was noted by guests that the wedding was different to any wedding they had been to before, but one of the best! It means so much to us that our friends and family had such an amazing time. We booked Abbots Court after a chance viewing and what felt like fate with our dream date becoming free the coming year. We knew the venue suited our vision of the wedding day, but it was the way that the staff saw the whole wedding weekend that filled us with the confidence to book (even with a lot of the venue still CGI drawings!) We were not disappointed when it came to our last planning meeting and seeing everything in its full glory and on the day it was perfect. The ability to have friends stay the weekend with us, the informal but beautiful look and feel of Abbots Court and the amazing staff meant we truly had the best day of our lives. We were able to make a weekend of it by hosting a sports day at the venue the next day and everything was made so easy by Kat and the team. Set up was a breeze, we were given a whole day to prepare and that took the stress out of the big day, which isn’t always a luxury that venues give couples. We booked Abbots Court, Almer Manor and the Shepard’s huts on site - all provided incredible experiences for our guests and the feedback we have had from everyone that stayed has been amazing. The luxury and well thought out venues added to our wedding experience and guests were definitely keen to try and stay again in future! We want to say a massive thank you for everything you did to answer the questions (no matter how big or small) and for all the thought and advice that went into making our day truly about us, and not just a carbon copy or a template that couldn’t be veered from. Nicky was so helpful! I had a vague idea about what I wanted, and she sent me a ton of ideas from her warehouse (even more than what's listed on the website). The prices are super affordable and her customer service is top notch! I'd highly recommend!

Lovely Nicky supplied our chair covers for our wedding day and they worked perfectly with our theme. Nicky was very accommodating and flexible to my ever-changing requests and I'm so pleased we found her. I'd highly recommend her for all your wedding hire needs.

Nicky was very accommodating with the items i required. She send me photo's of what i wanted, to give me an idea on what i was hiring along with making the whole process nice and straightforward. Once the items were collected (by my dad) and bought to the venue i could certainly see Nicky looks after her props as the quality of the items were really good. I would thoroughly recommend Nicky and her business to anyone conducting any number of events not just weddings. The decor was stunning. Everyone complimented the set up of the ceremony room and how lovely the reception tables were. The Photo Booth was a massive hit with everyone. The chocolate foundation was good and the children loved it, as well as the sweet cart. Communication was good and always available for any queries.

I contacted Shana via Facebook a few months ago with regard to using her as our decor supplier. In the build up to our wedding Shana has been nothing short of amazing. She is super patient and accommodating. I gave Shana my vision and she brought it to life and went above and beyond our expectations. We will never forget Hope Farm for making us feel so special, and for making our wedding celebration extra special too. When we first met Sue, we knew that Hope Farm was the venue we wanted to get married in. The animals, the landscape and the warm welcome we received told us that we simply had to get married here. Stunning venue! We cannot recommend this venue and Sue and her team enough for the amazing job they do. They couldn't do enough to make sure we had the most magical day. From the moment we saw the place, we fell in love and knew we had to get married here. Then we met Sue and she put us at ease straight away, so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much hassle. Having had our wedding there last weekend (31st August) I can honestly say that this is BY FAR the best venue around. Sue, Nigel, Matt and Georgia worked tirelessly to ensure the day ran smoothly alongside our caterers. Nothing was too much of an ask. Wonderful venue, beautiful decor already in place and really not needing much additional decor to be provided by ourselves, it was the most perfect day.

Josie set up the tables for afternoon tea for my hen party and also then did our champagne tower for our wedding! She made everything run so smoothly and took the stress out of it. Easy to communicate with and would definitely recommend!!

Julie is the most incredibly talented lady, focusing on the finest details to make your dream day a reality- Julie made my vision come to life for our wedding on 20.06.14. Julie went above and beyond in so many way to bring the whole wedding theme together... even to the last minute spritz of Jo Malone so it smelt divine as our guests arrived. A wonderful team! Kirsty and the House of Styling decorated our venue in August. They were so helpful in the run up to our wedding, creating a moodboard for us so we could visualise how everything would look. We were blown away with how incredible everything looked on the day, they really brought our vision to life and all of our guest commented on how amazing everything looked. Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Communication was brilliant throughout with Kirsty, and no question or request was too much! The styling for our special day ticked every single box for us, and the venue staff and even the registrar kept saying they had never seen New Place Hotel styled so well.
