Excellent vets. One of the small chain of Whitecross vets so has a different feel to one of the larger groups of vets - feels more personal and small practice - like vets from years ago - this is something for them to be proud of. The consultation didn’t feel rushed like I have experienced elsewhere.

Thank you to all the staff at white cross! Whenever i call to enquire about appointments for all the stray cats i help , they have always gone above and beyond to book in (even when i have to rearrange sometimes) without making the kitties feel less important than our own pets. Shows they are a caring practice. Would definitely recommend.

As ever, 5 stars. The staff are just brilliant with animals (as you would expect) but not pushy when it comes to recommending non- treatment. The floors are regularly washed in the reception area & the tables used for the animals in the rooms are sanitized after every use.

We are staying in Leeds temporarily and our 14 year old dog is struggling. Saw the vet, Katherine, at short notice this morning. We really appreciated her kindness and advice. I have got to know this wonderful vets over the last few months as the charity I foster cats with use them. I absolutely cannot fault them, whether an injection, check over, microchip or major operation every single member of staff is polite and friendly. They clearly care a lot about animals and treat each pet with compassion and love. No question or query is ever too much trouble for them and they have helped put my mind at rest as a new cat fosterer. When my plan ends with the vet I use for my own cats comes to an end later in the year, I want to move them to LVC as I know they will be in excellent hands.

Fantastic vets, I have a German shepherd who is not exactly 'cooperative',but Nick and his team are brilliant with her and always put the interest of the animal first.

Quite shocked to find the Shipley branch permanently closed. Pauline and I have been bringing our dogs there for over 45 years. Quite recently lost our wonderful rescue bullmastiff cross Max. The veterinary surgeon Amelia was professional polite, showed genuine care for our cat Maui. Explained everything clearly and informatively regarding his dental procedure and aftercare. Both nurses we saw, Kay and Rachel again could not have been nicer. Again very professional caring and loving towards our cat. Would certainly recommend them without hesitation. The surgery handled our Pet plan insurance claim very swiftly with claim submit and paid in 9 days very impressed. Thank you all for the care and expertise we have received. One happy cat. 😺

We were on holiday and our elderly Staffy Macie became unwell. On the off chance we took her to the surgery. We were asked to take a urine sample which the nurse tested straight away. Nothing was untoward. However we were advised to take her to our own veterinary surgery on our return home for a thorough health check. What an excellent service. Thank you so much.

I have been taking my cats to this vets for years, now. They have always been caring, compassionate and explained things carefully to me so I can understand treatment options etc. They do a 'Pet Club' which, for a monthly payment, do 6 monthly health checks, boosters and flea/worm treatments plus discounts on meds. A great practice where you are far more than just a number!

Really helpful staff, always friendly and calm. Can see they care about the animals. I'm a new cat owner and everyone here is really understanding.

I echo my recommendation on the FaceBook page but Alex is a true credit to his profession, he provided excellent care to our cat at the end of his life and let him slip away at home in comfort and in peace. He showed genuine care and empathy with us as both me and my wife were distraught and was professional throughout.

We had to say goodbye to our beautiful Border Collie Meg this morning. We are all heart-broken and it was the hardest decision we've ever had to make. I want to thank Alex so much for the professional and compassionate care that he demonstrated. At all times Alex helped us through the process and made Meg's last moments peaceful and comfortable, in her own bed, surrounded by her family. Thank you so much Alex, and sleep well our beautiful girl.

Brilliant vet. Alex offered my family wonderful advice when it came to saying goodbye to our beloved, Jim Bob. I highly recommend his services. He was very compassionate and gave us peace of mind in the last moments.

We had to say goodbye to our beautiful Scooby 2 weeks ago. He had a terminal heart condition and we had to make the hard decision to let him go. He was terrified of the vet so I always knew he would be more comfortable at home. Alex was wonderful. Caring, patient and made the process as gentle as possible for him so Scooby could have a peaceful death at home without stress. Thank you Alex 🤍

I don't know what you heroes get paid but its not enough.Really professional and caring when i had to have one of my ferrets put to sleep a while ago you consoled me in my grief and today when i brought in one of my older ferrets you could tell i was panicking so thank you for the quick diagnosis and that we can stabilise his condition. I walked into Kingsway vets worried sick and i walked out a much happier person thanks to not just the vet but all the staff there too you can tell they all love animals and it must be very upsetting and rewarding in equal measures thanks for everything

Nice local practice, always friendly, efficient and love what they do. Operations and more serious treatments are dealt with at Skipton and here again, the staff are very conscientious and friendly. Would not hesitate to recommend the practice.

We have used Kingsway for over 20 years. We have always found the service to be great. The staff are very professional and the vets are very good at explaining their diagnosis and treatment options, and they are always lovely with my pets.

Took my two ragdoll kittens there for the first time today! Very friendly vets, would highly recommend. You can tell the vet genuinely cares so much about our pets and not just about the money! The receptionist was also very friendly (it’s very rare to find a friendly receptionist LOL). The prices are also decent, I have joined the pet health club, which is only £18.99 per month so £37.98 per month for both my kitties! It includes many benefits, definitely worth the money!

Been dealing with Oakwood Veterinary since 2001, never been disappointed. Dr. Kothari is very professional and very straightforward. He did a major surgery on my Husky in 2016 with which I was very satisfied. Very kind and very reasonably priced. I would recommend them to everyone if they're looking for a professional and reasonable veterinary help.

We’ve been with Oakwood Vets for well over 15 years and they looked after both our cats that have now sadly passed away. We have nothing but praise for the team. Our cats received expert care for many years and we cannot thank them enough for the compassion shown when our eldest cat passed away earlier this year. I have recommended Oakwood Vets to others and will continue to do so.

We always have a wonderful experience when visiting the vet and we have to come once a month for our cat's injections. You can tell that the vet really cares about animals and the well being of them. He is highly knowledgeable and only prescribes what is really necessary. I wouldn't go to any other vet after bringing our cat to him.

Gatehouse Veterinary Group showed amazing professionalism and empathy when we had to use them to deal with our dog who had injured his leg on a walk. He had some how severed a vein and required minor surgery to repair it. The team were brilliant working swiftly to deal with the emergency all on News Years Eve.

I've been bringing my french bulldog dog pebbles to see Terry for nearly 6 years now. He is a great vet and amazing around animals. He puts them at ease and makes everyone feel welcome. He's very knowledgeable about flat faced breeds and listens to any concerns we may have. A very helpful vet indeed.

Receptionists are so lovely and friendly, Jennifer is a really lovely vet, always listens to the owner and takes her time to help you. Her experience and professionalism shines through. In my years I have seen many vets owning Dogs and horses. It's lovely to have a vet that's friendly, has an amazing way with the dog and is very experianced. All the vets are lovely and caring I have seen at Yorkshire vets but Jennifer is the one I will see if I can win my two dogs. Good experience throughout

Had my dogs registered here for over 2 years now, and i have to say i not disappointed at all so far. Both my American xl bullies and my french bulldog are in the pet health club, so all the fleaing and wormimg medication is included. Recently, I had my xl bullies neutered and spayed. The procedures were done with precision and minimal scarring, and they both received 25% off the total amounts due to the pet health club. The majority of staff are lovely and took a shine to my babies straight away. They received 5* service hands down,i only wish it was closer to me, lol.

100% recommended this vets, wouldn't take my cat Archie anywhere else. Jen (vet) who my cat (Archie) sees and loves, is amazing with him I 100% trust her advice/care.
