The best vets all the family has had the pleasure of using. The prices are very reasonable, ample parking at the side/rear of the surgery. Appointments can be booked in advance and also given same day or within a day or two upon phoning. We have over the years had to use the out of hours service for the dogs and we are always impressed with the high quality of service provided. We are always kept informed if any of the animals have to stop overnight or have been in for day surgery. We would not take our animals anywhere other than cross green vets !

I'd just had a bad experience with another vet practice (not in Otley). I was nervous about trying another after moving, but I couldn't have felt more reassured. The staff were so lovely! I wasn't rushed, the vet went out of their way to make my cat feel comfortable, and gave me lots of great advice. So grateful to have such caring, professional and reasonably priced vet practice nearby who truly put animals before all else. Can't recommend them enough.

I absolutely love this vet. It's independent and works with the owner to care for their ill animal. It's not just about money. The vets are very nice and the receptionist always books me in very quickly. She also deals with me freaking out over email quite a few times (sorry but thank you). I really love this little vet practice. It's how all vets should be run.

I couldn't ask for a better , more thorough vet than Emily Legate. The surgery is amazing and the staff are highly knowledgeable and very reasonably priced which is an added bonus but ultimately I use this veterinary surgery because I had a years worth of unsolved issues with my prescious boys ear, in one visit we had swabs taken then discovered he had a deformed ear canal in the offending ear , then he was booked in swiftly for an ear flush under anesthetic, Emily filmed the ear canal and debris in it ,for me to better understand the situation with his ear. I can't praise these guys enough and they have my recommendation to any one who wants caring, thorough up to date and highly trained veterinary care . It's a big thumbs up from me and Roman dog. I wish I could put 10 stars !!

I’ve been meaning to write a review for a while now!! I honestly don’t know how else to describe White Cross Vets other than amazing. Each and every staff member wether that be Vets, Nurses or Receptionists, are absolutely brilliant. They all have such a kind and caring nature and it just makes the entire experience at WCV so lovley. You are always greeted with a smile, no matter how busy it can be sometimes. Skye has seen pretty much everyone who works at White Cross Vets I think🤣 and they have given her the most amazing, high standard of care every single visit. I literally couldn’t have asked for better people to take care of my little baby. Everyone truly has gone above and beyond to help Skye. When your pet is poorly, if you’re anything like me and they are your absolute world, then it’s just the hardest, most worrying thing ever. However, each an every staff member just have so much love to give to all the animals that enter their practice that it instantly reduces that fear and panic. They all absolutely love Skye and I love that they are so kind and gentle with her and that they never make you feel silly for asking lots of questions or for worrying. They are always so quick to get you an appointment and really do look after you and your pet. Skye has seen Rachel a lot recently and she really is lovley and thoroughly checks Skye, reassuring me in the process. She always looks after Skye and is so patient and caring with her. Skye absolutely LOVES Erena and I’m certain Skye has stolen a piece of her heart too🩷 I wouldn’t take Skye anywhere else. We appreciate you not giving up on her when she was really really poorly and for everything you have done and continue to do for us. You have been nothing but perfect. Best local vets hands down! Any problem I have had with my Franko they have been amazing. The reception team are all so lovely and welcoming on entry & over the phone and then Alex & Rachel have both helped massively get to the route of the problem with Franko from allergies to neck pain. We had Izzy our dog spayed here recently, she had her ten day check this Saturday morning and was signed off. It is the first time that we have used White Cross, after our regular Vet of forty years recently retired. White Cross will certainly be my place of choice in the future and I highly recommend them. From start to finish we received an impeccable professional and friendly service.

We’re always more than happy with White Cross Guiseley but when we had a distressing emergency they were fantastic. Caring, considerate to me as well as Otis. He had surgery and everything was explained and I was kept fully updated until I was able to pick him up. I have got to know this wonderful vets over the last few months as the charity I foster cats with use them. I absolutely cannot fault them, whether an injection, check over, microchip or major operation every single member of staff is polite and friendly. They clearly care a lot about animals and treat each pet with compassion and love. No question or query is ever too much trouble for them and they have helped put my mind at rest as a new cat fosterer. When my plan ends with the vet I use for my own cats comes to an end later in the year, I want to move them to LVC as I know they will be in excellent hands.

There is parking outside, the reception was clean and welcoming, as were the staff. The vet was excellent by way of taking time to answer questions and explain options. He was gentle and supportive with the examination and vaccination. I would highly recommend.

Ashland’s Veterinary Skipton are amazing. So attentive and helpful. Each team member is fab. My dog unfortunately had to have drops in his eye earlier this year, he is now a little nervous when coming to the vets. But the team always do their best to make him comfortable and also offered to invite him to see the nurse just to say hello and get used to the environment again and make his future visits more pleasant.

I cannot recommend Ashlands in Skipton highly enough. While away on our Christmas break, our boxer needed urgent attention, and the team at this clinic was absolutely fantastic - especially Victoria and Fiona. Despite it being Christmas Eve, they were quick to accommodate us, providing prompt and efficient service. The staff were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and truly caring. They handled our energetic (and sometimes challenging!) boxer Maya with patience and expertise, putting both our pet and us at ease during a pretty stressful time. It’s rare to find such dedication and compassion, especially during the holidays, but this team went above and beyond. If you’re ever in need of excellent veterinary care, look no further. Quite shocked to find the Shipley branch permanently closed. Pauline and I have been bringing our dogs there for over 45 years. Quite recently lost our wonderful rescue bullmastiff cross Max. Fantastic vets, I have a German shepherd who is not exactly 'cooperative',but Nick and his team are brilliant with her and always put the interest of the animal first.

I have used Wagtails for a while now for all my animals. Staff are very friendly and helpful the vets are amazing and helped me in many ways to do with a condition our cat has..prices are reasonably and unlike some vets they not overpriced and will not try sell you something you pet will not need and if something is cheaper online then buying it from them they tell you they do not rip u off they are care more about the animals than trying to bleed your bank dry. I would certainly recommend Wagtails to anyone who is thinking of joining with a new or existing pet.

Thank you so so much, my daughter was visiting with her pooch. During ‘zoomies’ he pulled the toe nail on his paw and blood was everywhere. A quick phone call, jump in the car and straight in to see the vet. The team were fantastic calming dog, me and my daughter down! Toe nail sorted and a quick injection and we are back home in less than an hour. Cannot recommend them enough.

I've been bringing my french bulldog dog pebbles to see Terry for nearly 6 years now. He is a great vet and amazing around animals. He puts them at ease and makes everyone feel welcome. He's very knowledgeable about flat faced breeds and listens to any concerns we may have. A very helpful vet indeed.

Brilliant vet service we usually see Terry who is excellent but this time with 2 very poorly kitties we saw a lady called Ruth & she was also amazing very reassuring and knew her stuff! Definitely trust them with my pets & have been attending there years

Been a customer for many years and would not go anywhere else. I trust this practice with my animals which is what anyone needs with their pets. Always give sound advice and don’t try to oversell products. The staff are extremely friendly both with owners and pets, altogether a first class service and cannot recommend highly enough. We drive around 20 miles to attend and will continue to do so. Far superior to our local surgeries!

Always a brilliant experience at Ashlands. Both in good times and bad with my lovely little dog. Right from reception staff to the vets and nurses. Betty has never been stressed going into Glusburn. Even when she was seriously ill, the care was excellent.

Took my dog to the vet’s for boosters today. The vet I saw was amazing. If I recall correctly this name was Ryan. Nothing rushed nothing too much trouble. Lovely kind man. The two ladies on reception are worth a visit on their own 😂 hilarious, lovely conversation and very good front of house service. 5* review. Absolutely amazing service from start to finish
