A wonderful find. I came across this pub in the middle of a lengthy hike through Surrey Hills. It's a tranquil little pub, set in gorgeous surroundings. We only stopped for a short time, but very much enjoyed our stay. If you find yourself in the area, it's definitely worth dropping in.
Great little pub! The garden is just wonderful. We stopped for a coffee and a breakfast sandwich, all very good. The place was very quiet pre-10am, but we drove past at around 2pm and it was heaving!
We had a lovely lunch there we sat outside by the river run through with cut little ducks floating around , they have very large spaces of table and children plays area which is perfect for summer , will definitely go back there again , the bar man is also very friendly and helpful.
Came for food with my partner, Grandma and her friend for afternoon lunch. Overall really great afternoon sitting in the garden and great service thanks to Lynda! I had the pie and have to say it was the best pie I’ve had, the meat was delicious and moist! Would highly recommend!!!
Beautiful traditional pub in Gomshall, always pretty with a beautiful display of flowers and the added bonus of the river flowing through. We had the sharing fish platter that was very reasonably priced and very filling. We are going to try the ploughman’s platter next time.
