I found this place whilst traveling as my Premier Inn restaurant was closed. They were so accommodating even though they were very busy. The food was delicious and the interior of the restaurant and the atmosphere were just beautiful. The prices were reasonable too. I would absolutely visit again if I was in the area. Thank you for saving my evening!

Dinner with friends - walked in and the pub was packed after the Rugby! The staff were run off their feet but they were amazing - fantastic service, delicious food and good wine! Really recommend this lovely pub and it’s a credit to all who work there. We’ll be back very soon!

Very nice food, very reasonable portions for the prices as well. Decent size car park, lovely polite staff and a pleasant atmosphere made it a very enjoyable evening. Thanks to all the staff at the Red Lion for looking after us.

Met a friend here today and had a delightful lunch. We shared a starter, had a main course each plus coffee and bite size rocky road. Everything was presented beautifully and the staff were efficient and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would thoroughly recommend.

Excellent. We have had most things on the menu and all was delicious. The roasted beetroot and carrot salad is a favorite. George makes the best Picante's (seriously, the other bartenders don't make them the same).
