Never heard of Shiraz until last night, decided to try it and we were not disappointed. Who’d have thought we’d find a place like this in sleepy Horley on a Thursday night. Food was perfect, tasty, warm friendly welcome, staff all very tentative. Will be coming back!
Lovely food, full of flavour. Staff are welcoming and attentive. There were 12 of us and we all got our main dishes at the same time which was nice as nobody waiting. Lots of choice on the menu. My teen daughter had the chicken and avocado salad and said it was the best salad she's ever had in a restaurant although wasn't very filling so she shared chips and had some of the table bread. My lamb was tender and well cooked
What a fantastic Turkish restaurant, the staff are very nice & polite. The food is amazing & very tasty I would definitely recommend to anyone
Enjoyed a lovely family birthday meal here. Food was lovely and the restaurant had a good vibe, however it was extremely over priced. I've have been to other Turkish restaurants which offer the same quality food at a more economical price. Purely on this basis I will not return.
Having found ourselves unexpectedly stranded in Horley due to a flight cancellation we were delighted to stumble across such a great restaurant. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and professional. We could not fault the level of customer service we received. The room is large and modern with a great vibe. We shared the Hummus starter and because Of my lactose intolerance they brought me a selection of raw carrots and cucumber to dip and the flat bread arrived for Ann to eat. The Hummus was excellent and I'm told the flat bread was too. For mains we both had the Beef Tenders : prime cut tenderloins marinated with garlic, ginger served with mashed potatoes, caramelised shallots, red wine. Mine came with chips rather than mashed potato. Everything was excellent. There was so much that neither of us could eat dessert. There was a good selection of wine (served by the glass or the bottle) and beers. The drinks were reasonably priced. In conclusion we feel we landed on our feet by going to the Shiraz and if we ever find ourselves once more in Horley we would definitely dine there again.
