Sedir Restaurant

29-31 Lowfield St, Dartford DA1 1EW, UK | Turkish Restaurant
P: 01322 226421

Rating: 4.4 (508) Price Level:

Really nice food, had lunch menu which was a perfect size with an added portion of chips to split between four. Staff were friendly. Wasn't busy and it felt that if they had more advertising for their lunch menu at the restaurant it might be busier. Anyway will definitely do again. Had the chicken shish with rice and both were lovely. Salad that came on the plate was fresh and delicious.

This is my second time here. Went out for a quick catch-up meal with a friend...staff very efficient and helpful. The food was very nice and cocktails were also 👌🏾 👍🏽. The mixed sharing platter was great value for money

We have eaten here a number of times but only take delivery so it was great to get the opportunity to go in for a chance. It didn't disappoint at all. The food was really good and we look forward to returning.

Myself and husband went for the first time last night for our 16th Anniversary, and I really don't know why we haven't been before, seeing as the restaurant is on our doorstep. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, gorgeous food and good portions and really reasonably priced! And brilliant entertainment. We was going to go somewhere after our meal but decided to stay for the banging tunes! We will definitely be back. Thank you for making our night memorable. 👌🏼

I recently dined at Sedir Restaurant in Dartford and was blown away by the exceptional hospitality and vibrant atmosphere. The decor, featuring a traditional Turkish saz guitar on the ceiling, perfectly captures the essence of Turkish culture. The food transported me straight to Istanbul, especially the Adana kebab, served with rice and salad. Their complimentary freshly baked bread with garlic, yogurt, and chili sauces, along with delicious hummus, was a delightful touch. I’m already planning my next visit and can’t wait to share this experience with my partner. Highly recommend! Thank you Oz!

Efes Turkish Restaurant

55 High St, Dartford DA1 1DS, UK | Turkish Restaurant
P: 01322 471458

Rating: 4.3 (840) Price Level:

The food here is incredible. I was really blown away! The service was amazing 🤩 I’d happily go here over and over again! 5/5 stars ⭐️ The place was quite spacious so you can go with a big family and friends. The best thing about this restaurant is that you can see how the item (food) will look like on menu page, so that you can order accordingly. As a complimentary we had salads, bread, hummus and charcoal grilled aubergine. We had to get a takeaway bag because we ate too much bread and starters😭

Had a great experience in here as we were just on a visit in DARTFORD, we picked up a random train on that Sunday and step off at the last station. Efes seemed great place from the very beginning we’ve passed by and after a small tour in central park and the area around, where everyone was sleeping already I think, being very quiet on the streets, we came back to try the food. Meat was soft and well cooked, sauces were tasty and all the experience was nice overall. The restaurant looks great and it had a vibrant atmosphere. Thank you!

Went for dinner with a friend. Ambience and entertainment vibes were very good. Was running very late for our reservation slot, but they told us to come nonetheless. Got there and was seated within 5 minutes despite being busy. Food served promptly and tasted fab and fresh👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽. Lovely cocktails, too. Belly dancer entertainment an added bonus to a nice evening. Prices reasonable and was served a complimentary simple but nice platter of fruit after our meal. All staff that served us were very good. Definitely recommend.

Food was decent but I wouldn't say it massively stands out from other Turkish restaurants. However, service is 10/10 this is where they stand out. I recommend the shish, lamb chops and lamb ribs here it is very tender. The lamb doner was the only average thing here.

Dartford Dosa House

Rating: 4.3 (531) Price Level:

Dont be deseved by the appearance from the outside. Great and authentic Sri Lankan food...spicy and delicious. Very promptly served despite the place being quite busy on the weekend. Consider booking a table if you intend to visit on the weekend, we were lucky with getting a table without one. Friendly and polite staff.

I told them to make it very spicy and I got as I asked. It’s really nice with Mooboo bubble tea as it’s spicy and sweet and refreshing raspberry nojito sparkling. Perfect combination ❤️

The Wharf

P: 01322 229939

Rating: 4.2 (1821) Price Level:

The best thing about this place is the outside seating area right next to the pond. The food is a notch better than average. Service was better than what a number of reviews suggested. Yes, we did find a few tables which were not cleaned but we also saw plenty of clean ones. Overall, a nice place.

A lovely, quiet place! I went for dinner with my colleagues, and we had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious—I tried the beetroot tart and absolutely loved it. We also enjoyed the nachos and calamari, and I have to mention that the gluten-free chicken nuggets were excellent. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Found this place by chance and would like to go back. Some of items on the menu wasn't available but this isn't a big issue. The food was lovely. Nice little vibe and would like to go back. Only criticism is the big puddle outside in the grass which was quiet large, lighting was poor and not baracade which led my partner so submerged his foot into.

Rating: 4.4 (502) Price Level:

I cannot believe this has been on our doorstep all this time and we didn't have a clue how amazing it is! The food is perfect!! In price, in portion size (we actually had to take a break between the starter and the main!) and taste was simply incredible. Each dish was clearly prepared with care and contained good quality ingredients.. No soggy veg here which is a pet hate of mine! I just wish we had left more space for dessert..next time! I honestly couldn't fault the food. We sat in the beer garden which is beautiful, didn't feel crowded and we sat on the decking so had cover from the rain. Service was awesome, we even liked the other customers we chatted to. The only tiiiny thing I would improve is having an option for better tonic water, I find Schweppes far too sweet and don't mind paying a little extra for a better quality one and would have been nice to have a bit of lime in there too but thats it. We will definitely be back soon to try more of the menu!

Miller & Carter Dartford

Princes Rd, Dartford DA2 6NQ, UK | Steak House
P: 01322 287766

Rating: 4.4 (2316) Price Level:

We had the butcher's block at miller & carter and it was a great tasty experience for two. The meat was well cooked, juicy and tender. The meat did come with butter on top, which we managed to remove. I don't see the point, if it has quality it will be tasty, no need for butter in my opinion. The service was attentive. The pop style background music felt inadequate and the décor slightly dated. The food was tasty. Recommended

Loved this restaurant as soon as we walked in! It’s a regular haunt for my family and I can see why (we are from Western Australia). We had drinks first in the cosy bar area. There’s a good selection of beer, wine and cocktails. Our wait person was very friendly and attentive but not overly invasive. It was a busy night, but the food came out in good time. Our food was delicious and looked amazing on the plate. Finishing off our evening with desserts and cocktails. Yum! Definitely a winner 😊

It was a first visit to Miller and Carter in a long time, and it didn't disappoint. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. This was proven by our table striking up a conversion showing what a relaxed calming environment it was. The waitresses' service was exploratory, offering recommendations and taking attention to detail. Then the food, wow, the steak melts in your mouth, lobster tails tasty and fresh. It was all very well presented and served hot. Absolutely lovely dining experience.

What can I say.. we came here for lunch worried it would be a limited menu but the full menu was on offer. We went for the sharing platter and it was incredible. As my first time visiting I was worried and very snobby that it was a chain and instead I could not have been happier. We will be back as soon as our bodies and bellies have rested. The sharing platter was outstanding not just because of its size but because how delicious the meat had been prepared. We asked for medium rare and it all arrived perfectly. Staff were wonderful. Chef is amazing. Mocktails were tasty and full of flavour and good value. We cannot wait to return.
