Had a great time at Bar San Juan! It really gave off that authentic feel - like I was in Spain. The food was great, especially the lamb parcels, chorizo, and steak. Everything was cooked just right. The staff were really friendly and helpful with the menu too. It’s always busy, so I’d definitely recommend booking ahead if you can, though they do take walk-ins

The Best Tapas Restaurant in Manchester! This place feels like a little slice of Spain in the heart of Manchester. The atmosphere is authentic, and the food is absolutely incredible. The sangria was delightful, and the pan fresco con alioli was full of flavour. If you’re planning to visit, I highly recommend trying: Cojonudo Trufado: I can’t even begin to explain how delicious this tapa is – an absolute must-try! Croquetas San Juan: Perfectly crispy and packed with flavour. Carrilleras de Ternera: Melt-in-your-mouth beef cheek – just incredible. Saquitos de Cordero: While lamb isn’t my favourite, the sauce on this dish was sensational. I honestly cannot wait to come back to this amazing restaurant. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Spanish tapas!

so lovely! waiters were very helpful with making space on the table and reminding us when the heat lamp turned off outside (needed for manchester weather!), and the dishes came spread out which was very handy as once we finished one, another would appear! the prawns were extremely good and i am a prawn critic, i know a good prawn when i have one and these were 10/10!!! very juicy and flavoursome, and even with the rain i was still having an amazing chomp!! with a group of four with soft drinks and 2 dishes each, it was 70 pounds which is very good for the area.

Excellent food, wine, service and atmosphere. We enjoyed the fillet steak so much on our last visit we ordered a second portion! Usually worth booking a table to avoid disappointment. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful from start to finish. I judge how good the chutneys are at the start of the meal and my mate and I devoured every of the four pots. We went for small plates, chicken tikka, lamb kebab, paneer bites and makhani chips. Every morsel was outstanding. Then went for an espresso martini afterwards and as a barman I'm quite particular about how it's done. They absolutely nailed it. Heartily recommend. No notes.

A lovely Indian. It has a smaller menu, but everything we tried was delicious. The small plates were the highlight, we shared 3 between 4 of us and both chaat dishes were my personal favourites. The staff were very friendly and genuinely engaged with us, chatting about our meal and evening. We visited during the January 25% off offer but would happily return at full price. Highly recommend booking in advance!

The overall experience was impeccable. Some of the tastiest Indian food in Manchester - all of the ingredients were fresh and great quality. The service was very friendly and attentive. This was my second time visiting the restaurant and I will definitely be returning!

Love this place. There's nothing not to like to be honest. The food (and drinks) are well priced and affordable. Everything we've ever had from there on multiple occasions has been delicious. The food that you can buy to cook at home from their deli is also great, especially their dried pasta which is expensive but perfect for making very good pasta at home. The great thing about Domus is you can get something good anytime of day... They have great sandwiches, great and affordable coffee and an awesome dinner menu. Thanks Matteo!

It is a rare Italian restaurant in the UK where you can eat Italian food with Italian flavor. The food portions are generous and the taste is very Italian. The service is friendly and the quality of the food is also very high. The overall value for money is very good. It is an Italian restaurant worth visiting.

Wondered in this evening on the spur of the moment… and had a fabulous evening. Right from the start, we were welcomed with warmth. The food was INCREDIBLE - made from the absolute finest of ingredients, and beautifully prepared and presented. We were left to enjoy our food, but also waited on with real attention and warmth. Finally: the bill was such good value; that I had to check that everything was on there (it was). We will definitely be going again - and look forward to introducing friends to the place, and to the people that work there!

Beautiful little Italian restaurant, such a nice place. Service was great, we got seated straight away, looks like they have a shop during the day selling all kinds of Italian bits. The food was absolutely incredible, we had a cheese starter and it was beautiful, so amazing. I also recommend the pasta dishes, so much flavour and such good quality. Definitely recommend a visit!

Incredible roast dinner on Sunday! Hand down the best gravy I’ve had in Manchester and that’s saying something! Absolutely delicious - I had the roast beef which was cooked to perfection, buttery mash and plenty of veggies all topped off with a big fluffy Yorkshire pudding. Highly recommend as one of the best kept secrets for the best roast in Manchester Hats off to the chef

The food tom makes is incredible. The roast dinner is the best I’ve ever had. Tom is always making sure everything is good and everyone is happy. The shoulder of mutton is out of this world. I have recommended the roast to everyone I speak too. The food actually gets better every time I go.

The best Sunday roast in Manchester - bar none. There's some wizardry going on in the Madeira gravy, everything tastes amazing and it has quickly become a weekly institution. The oyster mushroom and tarragon pie is also out of this world good. Gutted to hear Tom is moving from the Nip and Tipple to Lloyds in Chorlton from November 2024 but it's like finding a great new band -- we'll just follow him wherever he goes. 5 stars.

I’m so impressed with Tom (de Terre)’s food every time I eat at Lloyd and Platt. Attention to detail is so on point, you can just tell everything on your plate is thought through by a talented chef therefore bloody delicious! I’ve had the roast a few times, meat always cooked to perfection, and plenty of tasty veggies. The veggie roast option is also so good (nut roast but in a roulade of flakey pastry? Genius). The pies are so rich and unctuous- including the veggie options (cheese and onion is to die for!). Oh and they do the BEST gravy!!

Amazing restaurant! We enjoyed the seafood platter, oysters, and desserts—raspberry crème brûlée and sticky toffee pudding. The food was fresh, perfectly cooked, and incredibly flavorful. What sets this place apart is their use of charcoal grilling, which elevates the taste of everything to a whole new level. I can't wait to go back!

Love seafood and fish so went to try it out. Did not disappoint!. One of the best if not the best place for seafood and fish. I loved all the small plates and big plates. All presented beautifully and the sides did not overpower the flavour of the fish. The portions are really big too so have to say could not finish it all so do recommend to go for more small plates for variety and options. If you’ve not been absolutely worth a try. Would definitely go again!

Brilliant little fish place in Chorlton. A real gem. Fantastic fresh fish with lovely sides and a nice wine list, all for quite reasonable prices given the quality of the food. I had the whole sea bream with broccoli and tzatziki - excellent. Lovely bottle of French Viognier to drink. The cheeseplate from Chorlton Cheesemongers was outstanding as well.

We thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We had the oysters which were excellent, the delicious seafood platter and raspberry crème brûlée. The restaurant is very cozy and intimate with friendly service. We will definitely be back!

This place is a great spot for foodies in Chorlton! Chorlton is known for its bustling street food scene and delicious food, and this is a great addition. I was invited here to try some of the food, which I will talk about later. But for now, let’s talk about everything else. The atmosphere is very nice. It feels cool and trendy, which is always a good thing. Also, the staff are really nice (10/10) and they are really enthusiastic. Now, I need to talk about the food. Wow. It is inspired by East Asian cuisine, which is great because East Asian cuisine is very flavourful and delicious. On my platter, I had Sweet and Sour Chicken (yum!!!), chips (some of the nicest chips I ever had), rice (some of the most delicious rice ever), halloumi (🔥🔥🔥), Sriracha BBQ chicken tenders (so good, very succulent and juicy chicken, dream of them every day), Tenderstem Broccoli (quite delicious, recommend it 🔥🔥🔥!), peppers and a nice garnish of Sweet Chilli sauce (sweet chilli is one of my favourite sauces ever, it’s fire 🔥🔥🔥). The food is great and is made using the best ingredients! Overall, this spot is a must-try in the bustling food scene of Chorlton, you will love it here!

Had to write a review about this place because it honestly blew me away. From the moment I called up to make the booking I knew it was going to be great. Nothing was too much trouble for Joe and he made sure everything was perfect for us all. We were so looked after the whole night. The food was unbelievable and so reasonably priced. Joe cooked everything from scratch in the open kitchen and the food was fresh and full of flavour. Cocktails were gorgeous too. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday and they presented her with a card and a plant WOW WOW WOW. It was such a fun filled evening - shots and beer pong! Can’t wait to come back. Go check it out. You will not be disappointed! 💯

Me and my mum came here for some lunch, honestly I wasn’t sure what to expect initially but the guys in there were really nice and friendly and made us feel so welcome. The menu had a great selection and the food was delicious! Would definitely recommend

Food was outstanding, some of the best Caribbean we’ve tasted in a long while. Oxtail was falling off the bone, with the expected richness you get from well cooked oxtail and the seasoning was perfect. My son had the Jerk chicken burger again was amazing and bursting with flavour his side of mac and cheese was also some of the best we have tasted and his skin on fries seasoned really well. My wife had the jerk chicken, rice & peas and steamed veg. Rice and peas were delightful, the jerk chicken full of flavour and the steamed veg was very good. A lot of places use frozen veg I’d be highly surprised if this was the case here. If your seeking great tasting Caribbean food in a modern vibrant establishment I’d highly recommend this place.

My recent dining experience at Miss Dee's Evoden Kitchen & Bar was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed by a young, energetic server who, despite being a bit nervous and making a few minor errors with our order, impressed us with his friendliness and well-presented demeanour. We later discovered it was his first-day working solo out front, and considering the busyness of the place, he did a commendable job. For our meal, we ordered: 1. Oxtail with rice and peas, and fries 2. Curried Goat with rice and peas, and steamed vegetables 3. Jerk Chicken with sweet potato fries and mac and cheese After a medium wait, with a humorous moment of our food initially being delivered to the wrong table, our dishes arrived, and they looked fantastic. The oxtail was tender and fell off the bone, the curried goat had just the right amount of spice, and the jerk chicken boasted a sweet, tangy flavour with a pleasant chargrilled finish. The sweet potato fries were perfectly crispy, as were the regular fries. The rice was flawlessly cooked and seasoned, and the mac and cheese featured a nice thin crust without being overly heavy. I prefer a breaded crust Grenadian style, but that's just a minor preference. We also enjoyed adding some hot sauce and lemon sauce, which complemented our meals wonderfully. Each main course was priced at a reasonable £14, and a glass of coke at £2.50. While the Coke came from a 2-litre bottle and lacked the desired fizziness, I would have preferred paying a bit more for a can or bottle. The ambience of the venue was warm and inviting, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. The bar offered a wide selection of beers and spirits, including homemade ginger beer, which unfortunately was sold out during our visit. A highlight of the evening was when the boss, Miss Dee herself, made an appearance. She expertly handled a large table of young patrons who were giving our new server a hard time, addressing them firmly yet motherly, even hugging one of the more vocal individuals. Her presence added a personal touch to the overall experience. Overall, we had a wonderful time at Miss Dee's Evoden Kitchen & Bar and are already planning our next visit. The combination of delicious food, friendly service, and a cosy atmosphere makes it a must-visit spot in Charlton. Looking forward to our next meal there – perhaps Miss Dee will remember us! Absolutely LOVE this place,I have visited more than 5 times. Highly recommend the pesto pasta (so delicious and high quality ingredients) and I also love the garlic bread. I’ve tried all the pasta’s and they’re all great. Portion sizes are good. Staff are very friendly.

My family and I have been coming to Zaytoon for years and it's always brilliant. Lovely staff and amazing food.

Consistently high standard of food. Lamb chops and rack of lamb are succulent and beautifully cooked. Sea bass and sea bream are both large and chunky and grilled to perfection. Prices are very reasonable and portions very generous. Vegetarian options good too: lovely lentils and falafel in particular.

A hidden gem!! A must-try in the UK. From the owner, the service and the quality of food is the best of my 20 years of traveling. Amazing food and will absolutely go back
