Fantastic array of really good quality and nicely presented food with a wide variety. Lots of fresh options for lunch on the go too including fresh fruit and veg, local cheeses and freshly-baked savoury goods.

Fab little general store also serving hot drinks, pastries and light lunch food. Stopped for a coffee and a cheese toastie whilst walking a section of the NDW. So great to have an alternative to a pub so close to the route.

Fanatic little shop and Post Office. Hot drinks and hot baked snacks (sausage rolls) all reasonably priced. Outdoor seating area next to the playarea. Kids loved the pick&mix 'penny' sweets. Place is run by volunteers.

Stopped in for coffee and cake after a run along the Pilgrims Way with friends. Very tasty (I can recommend the gingerbread cake). Also bought a newspaper and a delicious loaf of bread on impulse. A really useful little shop. If I lived in Detling I would be a frequent visitor.
