Vicky is such a talented tutor, my daughter had an English teacher at school that was focusing too much on the negative. A really thorough quiz which considers a variety of science terms and processes as part of the multiple choice, encouraging further learning or checking when the answers are revealed at the end of the test. Accessible, friendly and enjoyable. Just enough questions around the specific topics, enough to not become overbearing or confusing. Although I think that for GCSE, it may need to be a bit more challenging. Maybe there could be challenging levels to select and pass as part of the quizzing. Thank you.

So pleased with the tutoring my children receive at Kip McGrath Canterbury. Since joining in July my son and daughter have progressed a huge amount. At the end of half term my daughter received the Head teachers award for progress made which I believe was thanks to the consistent support received at Kip McGrath Canterbury. My daughter’s confidence has grown, now she tackles tasks which she would have been too scared to attempt. Tough teachers make the most difference - that’s so true for Favour. My daughter had a few tears initially in her classes, but once she got to grips, she not only became incredibly serious with her studies, but also became resilient, tough and confident. The testament to that is that my daughter developed severe covid symptoms just as the test started, but she defied all odds and sat through and smashed her Medway test with very high scores. Favour not only gave her the power of knowledge, but also developed her attitude to take on any challenges head on, my daughter is no longer the delicate little darling, but is a tough young girl now. Favour also shared a lot of useful resources in addition to her classes, which made it possible for us to revise at our own time. Thanks for all your support 🙏.

Without Emma, I could never have achieved a grade 9 in both English literature and language. Before starting my tutoring, my grades were at 6’s and 7’s and I didn’t know what I could do better to improve them. But once Emma started tutoring me, I began to discover my strengths and weaknesses. She increased my confidence and is incredibly supportive and kind. She is an exceptional tutor and I am 100% positive that anyone who chooses her to tutor them, will definitely improve their grades and confidence in English.
