John came to inspect the loft of our old cottage at a very short notice and provided us with a range viable options to deep clean it and remove the exisiting insulation in order to replace it with new and more efficient material. Communication was great and he proved very knowledgeable and honest in his professional advice. We will surely use him when we decide to go ahead with this work.

The evening before we were due to host an important family event, we found a deer corpse had been left on our boundary by Humane Dispatch. Having received no luck with the authorities, we looked for assistance online and found HW. John came out without complaint on a Friday night and removed the carcass for us. Rang Tom in the Newbury office as a wasps nest by a window had been discovered whilst double glazers were fitting windows. Tom was very helpful and gave excellent pragmatic advice and we spoke a couple of times over a couple of days. He always rang back as agreed. An appointment was booked and Lewis (Lee?) turned up as agreed and was very engaging and practical. Not only did he treat the nest but also checked the rest of the House outside in case they had set up home elsewhere too. Very impressive genuine service at fair price. I would definitely use again. We have had a great experience using Countrywide. Rodents are never a nice thing to deal with so dealing with Lewis from Countrywide who quickly understood the problem was very re-assuring. Lewis offered great advice and guidance not only in resolving the issue but also recommending preventative work to reduce the risk of the problem re-occurring. I have no hesitation in recommending Countywide.

Tony was absolutely diligent in his approach. He meticulously and successfully pursued his plan to find the entry and exit points used by the rodents, employing phosphorescent powder to track following a camera survey of the sewer system, all for a very reasonable price. I recommend this company, and Tony specifically, unreservedly. So very different to the usual attitude of put poison down, go away, return, put down more poison and charge a fortune for the privilege!

Quick response to my initial enquiry about pigeons roosting in my porch alcoves and Tony was able to come and carry out the proposed fix very soon after. Work carried out professionally. Tony was very knowledgeable about pigeons and their habits and we discussed ways to avoid them returning.

Called with a dangerous wasp nest and they were so helpful fitting it in. Came the same afternoon which was a relief for my old dad. Called Sean about a wasps nest and was told it could be dealt with the next day. I was happy with this but within 1/2 hour I got a phone call to say as they were in the area they could deal with the problem that afternoon. They arrived about an hour later. Had these guys come out for a wasp nest in our garden, with one treatment it killed the nest. Such a speedy and friendly service! Incredibly personable and professional. I asked for advice through a local Facebook group and the next moment I was raising a request through their website with and incredibly quick turn around in response. The next day we were on my allotment plot and the wasps nest was no more! Shane listened to me without judgement and took his time to ensure that my disturbing the nest had really not moved them on.
