The first visit was from David and he got part of the lighting working for us within two hours; however, due to time constraints a return visit was planned for 8am the following day. The second visit was by Marlowe and he spent 4 hours fault finding and rectifying the issues. Marlowe was very thorough and got the lighting working properly for the first time since we moved in 7 years ago. This is the second time we have used this company and I will definitely use them again. The service is prompt, they are always on time and they just do the job in the most efficient and cost effective way.

From the moment I contacted them, the communication was prompt, professional, and clear. After sending photos or short videos via text message or WhatsApp to help diagnose my issues, they scheduled an appointment quickly and arrived on time on each occasion. I saw their van on my way to work one morning and took a photo of their contact details painted on the side. What fortunate serendipity that has proved to be! Marlowe, my electrician on all three occasions, was incredibly knowledgeable, thorough and efficient, quickly diagnosing and resolving the electrical issue I had on the first two occasions. WOW! What a find !! I have had an emergency electrical issue at my residence and had a number of electricians who contacted me and gave quotes over the phone which seemed high and the advice about requiring a new consumer unit that I didn't really need. Kosta came through on one of the sites to find professionals around the building trade i.e. electricians. He was very polite, approachable and easy to talk to individual. Due to my emergency electrical issue Kosta came to my property within 30mins of my call. He initially examined for major issues and left in a safe position and then said he would come the following day i.e. today. Wed 08/01/25, Kosta arrived as he advised and began a full examination of my wiring system and discovered some concerns which he rectified and provided further advice whereby there was no need to exchange my consumer unit and avoided extensive electrical work which we did not need. As a result, I can positively say this man is a genuine professional electrician that I would not hesitate to contact in the future and would definitely recommend his services. I recently hired Kostas to fix a persistent issue with the electrical wiring in our kitchen. We were experiencing constant flickering lights, and it turned out to be a faulty connection that he identified and repaired quickly. In addition to that, he also installed beautiful under-cabinet lighting, which has made such a difference in our kitchen's functionality and ambiance. I used SW Electrical to carry our safety checks and certification of the electrics at my 3 storey house which has had various mods over the last few years, most recently including replacement of the consumer unit. I employed Peckfords to rewire my flat. They provided an excellent service. They turned up on time and did a professional job -completed earlier than they had predicted with minimal mess. I had been told by other firms that the new wiring could not be put through existing conduits but Peckfords mostly managed this with ease without me having to lower ceilings or have plastic trunking everywhere. Just before we were about to leave the house on Christmas Eve to travel to visit family, something shorted in our electrics and blew most of the fuses in the fusebox. I tried flipping fuses back but couldn't get some to go and got a big flash from one of them! I phoned a few electricians I knew but there were no answers, so I tried North London Electricians. They called me back quickly and the guy talked me through how to reset the fuse box and isolate the problematic fuse, so we could safely leave the house with essential things like the freezer still working. And he didn't charge me for his help. These guys saved Christmas for us!

I’m no end grateful to David of North London Electricians. I picked them by instinct out of the list that came up when, at about 11.30 on Bank Holiday Saturday night and with us due to travel next morning, the incoming RCD to half our fuse board went down and wouldn’t be pushed back up, stopping power to all but one light in the kitchen and throughout the ground floor and all the sockets, as well as the boiler, conjuring visions of everything in the full freezer ruined and the stuff in the packed dishwasher furry with mould by the time we got back, I googled for an emergency electrician. The phone was picked up after just a few rings, a man asked me what the problem was, and then talked me through what to do about it. In a few minutes all was working again. I thanked him as warmly as I could and asked if I might make a donation to North London Electricians. “That’s all right,” he said, “just recommend us to other people.” That’s when I asked what his name was, and besides having since recommended him and his company to three different friends, here I am recommending them gratefully to everybody else.

I would highly recommend David and North London Electricians. I had my lights blow as well as a faulty basement pump. I called North London Electricians and they were there next day as agreed and David fixed the lights, changed an extractor fan and made the basement pump safe within an hour. Refreshing to find reliable and honest tradesmen 👍

Really great service - I called at 7.30am as we had lost the electricity supply to our home. the man in the phone was very calm and helped solved the problem without needing a call out. We had the electricity back on within 10 minutes without having to spend any money. Would absolutely recommend.
