Matthew and his team designed our master bedroom and dressing room wardrobes. From the initial meeting with Matthew at his workshop, to the completion, the whole team have been professional, timely, efficient and friendly. The process has been very smooth with information regarding installation dates being communicated frequently. Upon completion of the wardrobes, we decided that we needed an understair cupboard and Matthew obliged! All of the furniture looks very in keeping with our cottage, is of excellent quality and finish. We cannot recommend Matthew Roberts Carpentry highly enough.

Matthew has been really supportive and patient as we went through the design process for our bookcase. Visiting his workshop and going through all of the options was really useful and helped us understand exactly what we were after, especially seeing where the work would be done. Now the bookcase has been installed we could not be happier and the quality of the work is excellent. I would whole heartedly recommended Matthew for his carpentry.

In writing this review, I believe I will echo the extremely positive position of all Matthew's customers. Matthew engaged with us to design and build custom furniture for a dining-room/study. Throughout our engagement, Matthew's needs analysis, design recommendations and attention to detail were superb. The team worked collaboratively with us throughout the build and installation in a friendly professional manner. We are delighted and cannot recommend Matthew and his team enough.

We cannot recommend Matthew and his team highly enough. They recently designed, made and installed bookcases/ cabinets in our home office and we are absolutely delighted with them. Matthew guided us through the process from initial design discussions to the installation, with care and complete professionalism. He advised us at every stage of the process and considered everything down to the smallest of details. The end result is better than we had hoped for.

We asked Jason for a quote to replace our kitchen worktops and install a new sink. He replied very quickly and started 5 days later. He did an excellent job, took everything away and tidied up afterwards. The worktops were very dark and now we have a lovely bright kitchen. We highly recommend Jason.

Jason was able to take my vision and create a beautiful set of shelves and cupboards for the cosy nook in our kitchen. We were provided with a 5* service throughout. Jason was quick to respond to messages and completed the work to an excellent standard, we would definitely recommend.

Jason has just finished fitting our kitchen for us and has done an amazing job - he is clearly a perfectionist as the fit is flawless. His communication from the point of booking has been great, and on the two days of fitting he helped to problem solve a couple of issues with the kitchen design. We’d thoroughly recommend Jason to anyone and I’m sure we will use his services again. I’ll try to attach some photos of the kitchen once worktops and flooring are complete!

I found Fine Design through a recommendation from a friend and I'm so pleased I did. We had a few problems so it wasn't just a straight forward bathroom replacement, we had water damage and a wall that needed to be removed to get the bath out, Adem and his team delt with it quickly and efficiently. They kept me informed all the way through, I had chosen a sink but when it came I didnt like it, this was no problem, it went back and by the next day I had one I loved. The quality of the bathroom and the work is brilliant and the price was incredibly reasonable against other quotes. I had ordered blinds separately from Fine Designs that didn't arrive while they were doing the job so Adem very kindly came back to fit them for me.

Ben and Craig totally transformed our house. They worked on two big projects for us, firstly moving walls and installing a family bathroom, and secondly knocking through walls and creating a new kitchen/diner and shower room. We completely love the results and it's made such a difference to our experience of being at home. They kept us updated at every step, worked with our budget and delivered craftsmanship to the highest standard. Every single tradesperson that they involved in the work was fantastic. The project management was flawless with people and materials all appearing at exactly the right time. I cannot recommend them highly enough :)

Ben & Craig from Howard and Sturt make a brilliant team - efficient, hard working, tidy and professional. Any other trades people involved in the project have also delivered the same high standards. They have done a superb job fitting our new kitchen as well as carrying out some work in the garden (which included decking and creating a bench) and we are delighted with both. They offer very competitive prices without compromising on standard and have delivered excellent attention to detail throughout. Ben and Craig undertook the development work of converting two of our farm buildings into a shop and butchery and installed a new toilet and shower block for our campsite. This was a large development project; 4 months in duration, with ambitious deadlines. With our limited knowledge and experience of undertaking such a project, Ben and Craig were integral to the planning process and ensuring that our ideas translated into something that would work in practice. Ben and Craig dealt with all of the challenges of our old buildings without fuss or difficulty. In fact there was a plentiful supply of constructive ideas to deal with any issues arising, cost effectiveness and future proofing the development. At every stage of our project Ben and Craig’s communication was timely and showed consideration for pressures on our own time. They took on most of the liaising with the building control inspector and were proactive in working with the company that undertook the ground works. Something that was of great value to us was the planning and consideration shown by Ben and Craig to allow us to continue to run our business at our busiest time of year: as well as working around other activities that were happening on the farm. The work that Ben and Craig have done is a key part of the future success of our business and so far our customer feedback has been excellent. We cannot recommend them highly enough; yes they are busy, but they go out of their way to ensure an all round top class job; before, during and after the project.

Ben and Craig have just completely refurbished our kitchen and it looks amazing. They tick all the boxes that you could want ticked when looking for building professionals. They are considerate, tidy and their eye for detail is brilliant with nothing seeming to be too much trouble. Outside the house, Rafal made and installed 2 doors with framework. The doors and frameworks are sturdy, secure and fit well. Rafal is pleasant and friendly and cleared up well afterwards. His standard of work is high and we would be pleased to use him again.
