Ryan and Lewis did a fantastic job installing two new interior doors, adjusting four others, and adjusting, draughtproofing and installing a new lock on the front door. Ryan has a great reputation and is in high-demand, so lead times before work starts can be long. However, once the team starts work they are tidy and efficient and the work is high quality. We had one follow-up issue with the front door being too tight, and Ryan returned to fix the problem within two days of contact. Overall fantastic service and highly recommend.

I found Orchard Carpentry via Trust a Trader website. Ryan communicates extremely well and has over delivered on the quality of the projects I asked for. Ryan provides a thoughtful and detailed service, considering all issues and resolving. He produced custom made shelving for two rooms and his attention to detail is second to none. My wife and I are very happy indeed. The price was very fair too, not cheap but not expensive. We will be using Ryan for our kitchen refit, within the next few months, as well as any other carpentry requirements. I wholeheartedly recommend Orchard Carpentry.

I asked Ryan to install a shed, what he did was above and beyond the call of duty, he removed two tons of soil and a load of other trash. Installed a perfect shed on an imperfect base, negotiated wonderfully with a tenant and project managed a waste collection job. Honestly I should have paid him more. He’s brilliant.

Ryan was recommended to us, and he certainly lived up to that recommendation. There were 6 of us in the block and he completed all the new fire door installations very efficiently, with patience and friendliness. Tom and his guys were superb for us. Great communication and always on top of things. Real professionals but also very personable. We are so pleased with everything Tom has done in our home. Tom has now led the refurbishment of our kitchen, diner, hallway, utility, downstairs shower room, main bedroom, en-suite and family bathroom. There’s never any nonsense and we enjoy having him around. We tried someone else when Tom wasn’t available and got badly burned. We can’t wait to work with him on our next round! If I were to describe Tom’s approach to my home renovations I would describe him as inclusive, having great communication skills, proactive, (particularly important when as is often the case, a couple of unpredicted issues arose), approachable & open to discussing options when needed & incredibly professional. The standard of work was high & the finish is faultless. My kitchen was not entirely standard off the shelf construction, but was finished beautifully. I would have no hesitation asking Tom to carry out work on my home in the future or recommending him to others. It can be a daunting prospect embarking on a build but I was confident with the choice I made & had no misgivings at any stage. Tom is a gem!!

Tom was first recommended to us by a local kitchen company as one of their best carpenters. He fitted our new kitchen which looked fantastic. Tom then laid a new wooden floor throughout the dining and sitting rooms. Once again all laid with precision. Tom has come back this year to put in a new kitchen worktop and prep, screed, and lay kitchen floor plus fit new skirting boards. Tom is a very personable young man works extremely hard and we will use Tom every time.

Very happy with the work Louis and his Woodology team carried out. They completed a professional demolition of an old rotten shed, disposed of and rebuilt a new one, all in less than a week! I can highly recommend this company for their quality of work and professional approach right up to project completion. 5 stars from me.

I am so happy with the team from Woodology. They have replaced all interior doors and doorframes, skirting boards and bannister for the stairs. Everything looks amazing. They have been easy to deal with and very professional and communication has been clear and timely. Charlie has led the work at the house and he has been a pleasure to have in the house and he is clearly very passionate about his work. I am in the process of booking them in for more work and I would happily recommend them.

I haven't written a review online in a long time, but after using Woodology, I thought I'd take some time out to comment on my experience using them. We have recently moved into a new build property and had new carpets fitted, but the fitters took all our doors off and couldn't put them back on as there wasn't enough clearance once installed. Moving in that weekend, I was desperate for a carpenter to ease my doors. I found Woodology online and called them up and by sheer luck, they were available that same afternoon! When they arrived, they were very polite and professional. Just really nice down to earth chaps. They were tidy, well mannered and they were clearly highly skilled as their workmanship was first class! They did an excellent job in next to no time at all. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. In fact, I have some units that I would like bespokley made, so I will be back in touch soon.

Mick completely transformed our garage into an excellent usable space. We consulted Mick at the outset of the project and he project managed from start to finish including organising separate contractors for plastering and electrics. Mick also provided advice on potential designs for the garage storage and helped with the procurement of products for the storage. Mick is always incredibly responsive, diligent, a perfectionist in his work. He is also incredibly tidy in a workspace! We can’t recommend Mick enough!

Hybrid Carpentry did an amazing job transforming our stairs! Mick replaced the carpet with beautiful oak treads and white risers. The team was professional and detail-oriented. We couldn’t be happier with the results—our stairs look stunning!

I have been working with Mick on the renovation of my property for over a year and he has carried out many projects including panelling in my daughter’s bedroom and alcove cupboards and floating shelves in a playroom. However, Mick’s assistance in transforming our hallway deserves a review on its own! After being badly let down by a local building company, Mick came in and helped us create the hallway of dreams! We consulted with Mick about how best to create the hallway we wanted and worked together to create designs and source products. Mick completed a new hallway cabinet and matching shoe cupboard, panelling, picture rail, skirting boards and internal doors. The results are outstanding and has completely transformed our hallway. Mick is incredibly talented as well as a true professional and we have already recommended him to all of our local friends.

Michael has helped us to update and transform many rooms in our house, adding much needed storage solutions for the bathroom, washer and dryer cupboard, staircase and alcove cupboards. His attention to detail and problem solving is first class, so much so that we’re already booked in for some fitted wardrobes in 2x rooms.

Challenge Neal with any space and he'll make a brilliant unit or cupboard to fit! Highly recommend, especially for shoe storage when it's impossible to find the right unit anywhere else. Reasonably priced, efficient, courteous and very professional. You can't really go wrong!

Neil is diligent, professional and very adaptable. He works hard and takes great pride in the end result. He built complicated bespoke wardrobes for our master bedroom and walk in wardrobe. We were so pleased we then added 2 further bedroom given the great job he had done

Neal made me a long wanted under stairs cupboard and it does everything I wanted - holds 3 sets of golf clubs, 5 people’s shoes, laptops, monitors and printer . We looked at companies that specialise in under stairs cupboards but their modules did not suit our needs. It is totally bespoke and holds everything that was previously all around my hallway behind closed doors! Neal is a very efficient, neat and tidy worker who produced a very high quality product. I would definitely recommend him if you are looking for some carpentry or joinery work.

Marcio and his father-in-law did a fantastic job putting in some wardrobes in two rooms and flexible hanging/shelves in my converted attic walk-in wardrobe. The finished products look lovely and they built most of it off-site, so only entailed 3.5 days of disruption at home. They are nice guys and tidy workers, leaving the place immaculate each evening. I would definitely recommend them.

Marcio and his dad did an extraordinary job at our property, building and fitting two big wardrobes to perfection! From the very start, when Marcio first came round for a site visit, he was knowledgeable, professional and very communicative. His quote followed shortly, and then the works started and finished without any delays. The quality of craftmanship is stunning, we couldn't have asked for anything better than this! We had a fantastic experience with Marcio and his team! It is rare to come across a company that is highly skilled, reliable, and trustworthy. They built and fitted new wardrobes, custom-made 2 alcove bookcases and several shelving units, repaired the staircase and built custom-made under-stairs storage. Moreover, their painter repaired internal walls and painted the entire house, he did an amazing job as well. I'm so glad we went for this company - they are perfectionists and their work is done to a very high standard. What I really appreciate is that they go above and beyond and communicate with you throughout the process: They send photos with updates, they ask questions to make sure they do the job exactly how you want it to be done, and they are thinking outside the box when something gets tricky. On top of that, they are reasonably priced and will suggest the most affordable option for you whenever possible. The moment you employ them they are on the ball, no chasing from our side ever. They are also super lovely to deal with, even our neighbours mentioned that everyone was very polite and quiet. I wouldn't hire anyone else for carpentry or decorating work. Marcio did an amazing job creating high quality storage in our loft. As you can see in the before and after photos they look great. He often went above and beyond to make the finish a very high standard. I would highly recommend.

CCM were employed to carry out extensive refurbishment of three toilets for a school. The work has been carried out to a very high standard. Great communication. Polite, professional, tidy. Would use again and highly recommend.

Selected as Chris visited to assess the work and offered solutions to issues and he listened to high detail and level of finish required. A professional outfit with excellent attention to detail and Chris made visits to oversee progress. Rich our daily visitor was a pleasure to host him daily and his own level of attention to detail is outstanding. He even rounded off an edge on door threshold so that grandchildren didn't get injured. Existing Kitchen doors cut to new size required were to an excellent finish and all trims matched in perfectly. All visitors (approx5) were courteous and all mess cleaned up frequently. If you want a job done well, then select the best.

Chris was very prompt in his initial reply to my enquiry. Had a couple of quotes and went with Chris mainly because unlike the 2 carpenters that quoted and could only do the woodwork, his team took on the whole project including woodwork, plastering and electrics (which were sub contracted) but meant i didn’t have to deal with multiple trades/people or issues with fitting them in around each other. Rich and Michael came to do the work, both were polite, professional, kept things as tidy as possible taking a wall down under the stairs and custom building cupboards, drawers, wine rack, shelves and space for fridge as requested. Very pleased with end result.

We got in touch with Toby having followed his work on social media. We had reached the end of a large renovation project and needed some bespoke carpentry items to fit some quirky spaces - fitted ‘open style’ wardrobes in our dresser maximising space, converting a strange shower cupboard in my daughter’s bedroom into some huge storage cupboards (making good the surrounding area), building corner bookshelves in my husband’s study. And creating a storage unit to hide our TV/Console items! On initial meeting, Toby took time to understand our requirements, creating excellent drawings which brought these to life. I got to select the finish in farrow & ball paint to match our rooms, they look fabulous! The products were made and installed with great efficiency. Toby and his team were perfectionists on site and didn’t complete the project until they/us were 100% happy. We would highly recommend his services.

Toby designed and fitted some beautiful cupboards for us. We Have been using them for 6 months now, can tell the quality is good- absolutely no problems. Brilliant communication and also allowed us to change the design (from shaker style to a more traditional finish) at last minute which didn’t affect the final quote.

Toby and his colleague Aaron replaced all of our old internal doors with 13 new oak doors which have transformed the look of our house. Toby was very responsive to questions before the work and was the only provider I asked to quote who responded quickly in fact within 24 hours. He suggested slightly different doors to those I proposed which while of the same quality were slightly cheaper. The work was undertaken in a very professional manner and we are very pleased with the outcome and in fact are considering having further work done by Militao Carpentry. They were happy working round our inquisitive dogs, protected the carpets, cleared up at the end of each day (the work took a week) and were always polite and flexible. I would happily recommend.

Luke has done a lot of work for us.... and there is still quite a bit to do! It is a real pleasure working with him: polite, friendly, helpful, punctual and he always delivers a very high standard quality work. Luke did an excellent job of fixing a new internal door and realigning another door that was not closing properly. Luke also helped fix a pillar in the porch area as well as mounting security devices in my home. We are very pleased with the quality of Luke's work, his friendliness and willingness to take on last minute requests, all at reasonable rates.
