Elliot and his team of trades people (Chris, Harvey, Graham and Micky) were not only good at what they do but are reliable, professional, trustworthy, friendly, responsive and easy to communicate with. They delivered on their promises using good quality products and ensured everything was done as had been agreed. Our project required cutting and installing new doorways, windows and a much larger patio door. It also involved erecting and plastering dry walls, levelling and laying flooring. Needed a custom fit Wardrobe built in my bedroom and a friend recommended Elliott & Harvey who had done a great job for them. Elliott was quick to respond from the offset after I enquired. Building a wardrobe isn’t my field so he gave me numerous options and really listened to what i wanted and worked within my price budget. Elliott was very flexible and managed to squeeze us in before Christmas which we didn’t expect at all. Genuinely felt like he went out his way to get it done for us whilst we were still living out of bags. The Wardrobe itself took Elliott & Harvey just 1 day to build. On the day itself i was away with work but Elliotts communication around what he had done & giving regular updates was second to none. The quality of the Wardrobe and attention to detail with the shelfs, rails and sliding doors is excellent. Also when i returned from work it was like nobody had been in the house all day due to how tidy they had left it. Very professional, top quality work and would definitely recommend. Thank you.

Pawel went above and beyond while building our gorgeous alcove cupboards and shelves. He was thoughtful, kind and very hardworking, tidying up at the end of everyday and working around our crazy schedule of juggling house renovations with a 6 month old baby. Could not recommend him enough.

I woul love to give 20 stars if I could. I need transform my Mercdes sprinter into a mobile beauty salon and Paul did a amazing job. It was a big risk for me putting my big project in someone hands and I knew It was his first job converting a van. He exceed my expectations. When I was not sure about things, he alwyas end up coming with ideas. He is very honesty, hard working, perfectionist and efficient. You would not be disappointed by choosing him.

Paul did an amazing job and exceeded my expectations in every way. What I thought was going to be a simple job turned out to have multiple hiccups along the way but Paul had a solution every time and made sure that anything we needed to do didn’t compromise on the end result and finish. Paul tidied at the end of each day and left the area so tidy you would barely have known he’d been here! He gave me a very fair price for the job. I can’t recommend Paul enough.

Our project was particularly complex, replacing in its entirety a large roof structure with an additional storey in a contemporary style and completely reconfiguring the ground floor. Southern Contractors were recommended to us and they did not let us down. Rob and his team worked tirelessly, keeping us informed every step of the way. With a build this complicated there was always going to be unexpected challenges but nothing phases Rob. He is totally solution orientated, often thinking outside of the box and suggesting alterations that proved more practical than the original plans. His attitude is, whatever you want, he will make it happen. He’s such a positive person, responds quickly to all communication and goes above and beyond to support you though what can be a very difficult process; we’ve all seen Grand Designs! Rob’s team were totally reliable and never let us down. Southern Contractors have built us the most spectacular home and we have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.

Rob and the team have spent 14 weeks building a side extension to our house involving a new garage and a glass-roofed garden room. We are delighted with the result which is totally reflective of the architects plans and the project even came in on budget too! During the build process Rob was always responsive to our input and no request was too much trouble for him and the team. I found Orchard Carpentry via Trust a Trader website. Ryan communicates extremely well and has over delivered on the quality of the projects I asked for. Ryan provides a thoughtful and detailed service, considering all issues and resolving. He produced custom made shelving for two rooms and his attention to detail is second to none. My wife and I are very happy indeed. The price was very fair too, not cheap but not expensive. We will be using Ryan for our kitchen refit, within the next few months, as well as any other carpentry requirements. I wholeheartedly recommend Orchard Carpentry.

I asked Ryan to install a shed, what he did was above and beyond the call of duty, he removed two tons of soil and a load of other trash. Installed a perfect shed on an imperfect base, negotiated wonderfully with a tenant and project managed a waste collection job. Honestly I should have paid him more. He’s brilliant.

Ryan and Lewis did a fantastic job installing two new interior doors, adjusting four others, and adjusting, draughtproofing and installing a new lock on the front door. Ryan has a great reputation and is in high-demand, so lead times before work starts can be long. However, once the team starts work they are tidy and efficient and the work is high quality. We had one follow-up issue with the front door being too tight, and Ryan returned to fix the problem within two days of contact. Overall fantastic service and highly recommend.

Outside the house, Rafal made and installed 2 doors with framework. The doors and frameworks are sturdy, secure and fit well. Rafal is pleasant and friendly and cleared up well afterwards. His standard of work is high and we would be pleased to use him again.

Rafal repaired my dining room chairs which were failing at the joints. His work was wholly satisfactory, on quality, price and promptness.
