Honest and genuine. I am so pleased with the help I received. Even though I haven’t been a customer there before they fit me in for the repair I needed and didn’t charge me over the odds, I thought the damage was worse than it was and they did what was required. My car drives perfectly fine and no warning lights. I can’t thank them enough for the help they have given me and I will definitely recommend them to everyone I know. They are knowledgable and took the time of day to ease my concerns, especially as a woman who doesn’t really know much about cars I was scared of being ripped of but these guys are amazing.

Called MDR earlier today as the lever to open my bonnet wasn’t working. I needed it sorting as travelling a distance next day and wanted to check oil and water. Was asked to take car down a couple of hours later for them to have a look at it. I did this and they sorted it within couple of minutes, also checked my oil and water levels and didn’t charge me anything. Great service and refreshing to see we still have good people out there. MOT booked for Saturday morning after a recommendation from a friend. On arrival was was met in a friendly manner and offered a brew In reception whilst I waited, short while later after bike had passed and payed for I asked if I could leave her there for half an hour as her new keeper was just dropping me off and getting his gear, no problem at all! Been using them for years, better now they are in conjunction with Auto-Lass. Jody & Mathew are really excellent and scrupulous honest. You CAN save money by going to them for repairs & service as well as MOTs rather than going to a Main dealer who are usually in commission to find faults,even if your car is still under warranty. Google "warranty and independent garages & call Woodend or Auto Lass.

I have had a noise on my front passenger side for 2 years. It has been too 2 mechanics before i went to Woodend mill with the problem. All i can say is that Jody and her team sorted it and explained and showed me the part that has been giving me grief. I am so truly grateful to them all. I was having a problem with the alarm going off all the time on my 2019 3 series. Sam figured out that it was an issue with the alarm siren and replaced it. Really good customer service throughout the entire process and is very knowledgeable and well priced. I wouldn’t hesitate to take my car there back again.

I don’t normally write reviews but I feel this garage deserves one! I cannot fault Sam and the lads they’re brilliant! Earlier this year the timing chain on my BMW unfortunately broke, I did not realise this for some time after receiving a false diagnosis from several other mechanics. After seeking recommendations I was advised to speak to Sam at Halpin Autos for advice. Sam immediately knew what the issue was with the car and explained the process going forward. I put all faith in Sam as his knowledge was sound and I was informed at each stage of the process via telephone. No work was undertaken without my consent. The car was fixed in the time frame stated and the service provided was very professional. Thankyou so much! Highly recommend this garage for servicing and repairs!

Great Service at a Fair Price I had issues with my BMW 320d where the ABS and traction control lights kept coming on. Took it to these guys, and they did an excellent job fixing it at a very reasonable price. Not only that, but the turnaround time was super quick—I had the car back in no time. Honest and fairly priced. After having suspicions with my previous garage over last couple years - Charging without actually changing, I decided to try a new garage. Steve on desk was welcoming and got me booked in sharpish for a full/major service for a very fair price. Vehicle back same day, no messing around or trying to tell me i needed items which i didn't. This was my first time at Cross Garage booking full service and MOT. The gentleman at the reception was very pleasant and helpful. Dropped and collected on the same day. Though advisory on my tyres, they didn't call to charge me extra for things that didn't need doing like some garage I have used before. Reasonable price and good service. I will recommend Cross Garage to my friends and family and will always be using myself.
