I don’t normally write reviews but I feel this garage deserves one! I cannot fault Sam and the lads they’re brilliant! Earlier this year the timing chain on my BMW unfortunately broke, I did not realise this for some time after receiving a false diagnosis from several other mechanics. After seeking recommendations I was advised to speak to Sam at Halpin Autos for advice. Sam immediately knew what the issue was with the car and explained the process going forward. I put all faith in Sam as his knowledge was sound and I was informed at each stage of the process via telephone. No work was undertaken without my consent. The car was fixed in the time frame stated and the service provided was very professional. Thankyou so much! Highly recommend this garage for servicing and repairs!

I was having a problem with the alarm going off all the time on my 2019 3 series. Sam figured out that it was an issue with the alarm siren and replaced it. Really good customer service throughout the entire process and is very knowledgeable and well priced. I wouldn’t hesitate to take my car there back again.

Great Service at a Fair Price I had issues with my BMW 320d where the ABS and traction control lights kept coming on. Took it to these guys, and they did an excellent job fixing it at a very reasonable price. Not only that, but the turnaround time was super quick—I had the car back in no time. Highly recommend their service.

Called MDR earlier today as the lever to open my bonnet wasn’t working. I needed it sorting as travelling a distance next day and wanted to check oil and water. Was asked to take car down a couple of hours later for them to have a look at it. I did this and they sorted it within couple of minutes, also checked my oil and water levels and didn’t charge me anything. Great service and refreshing to see we still have good people out there. Honest and genuine. I am so pleased with the help I received. Even though I haven’t been a customer there before they fit me in for the repair I needed and didn’t charge me over the odds, I thought the damage was worse than it was and they did what was required. My car drives perfectly fine and no warning lights. I can’t thank them enough for the help they have given me and I will definitely recommend them to everyone I know. They are knowledgable and took the time of day to ease my concerns, especially as a woman who doesn’t really know much about cars I was scared of being ripped of but these guys are amazing.

Clutch went on my 2013 VW Caddy on the Sunday, MJ Motors had my van recovered and back on the road by Thursday after another garage told me they couldn’t help me for atleast a month. 10/10 service from MJ Motors highly recommend anyone who needs any motor works!!! Thanks again Mark

I can highly recommend MJ Motors. I took my T5 camper to MJ Motors after it died halfway to Whitby and subsequently recovered him. What I suspected to be an intercooler problem, turned out to be a requirement for a replacement engine (quickly noticed by Sam who could hear it knocking across the yard when I turned up) After several weeks of engine issues caused by a used parts "specialist", my van's back on the road with a replacement engine, new intercooler, clutch and flywheel. Cost me a fortune, but very reasonable labour costs, considering the amount of work and patience the lads at MJ have endured. Thanks Mark and Sam. I'll definitely be returning, hopefully with less drama next time!

First time I used Guide Bridge and will definitely use again! Would like to say thank you to Sarah, Lauren and Emma for booking my tyre replacement on short notice and keeping me informed whilst I waited. I arrived earlier than my scheduled appointment but I managed to do some work from the nice warm reception. Gaz and Andy were great. Highly recommended!

Adam and the guys fixed up my BMW after being recovered back home by the AA.. Diagnostic, alternator and battery replaced, health check, advised of potential future issues as the car is nearly 18 years old. Being a BMW everything costs a mint and the guys kept the costs down as much as possible. Always kept informed. I've had it back for over a week and it's running like new again. Bingo. Thanks guys.

Second time using Guide Bridge MOT centre. So thought I'd have another bash at putting a review on. See "Fast PT" review. from last year too. Normally at MOT time I sit there biting my nails, pulling my hair out and rocking back and forth, eagle eyed watching the mechanic do his thing on the pride and joy..... Just.hoping the motor passes. It did!!!! I have to say the staff here are amazing however. The two ladies (Emma and Lauren) on the front desk are an asset to your company both dealt with appointment brilliantly and I can't fault them in any way. They clearly went above and beyond today. That seems to be a running trend with GBMC....a full health check is done on your motor FOC, Giving you the opportunity to spot a fault ahead of time so you can get it sorted before something goes bang. Gareth was the mechanic who did my MOT and again can't fault him. Ha gave me a quick walk around too of the car outside the garage, again going above and beyond. Can't fault him If you are looking for a garage that takes the same pride in your motor as you do.....this is the place you want to bring it. Thanks guys for looking after me and the BM today. My BMW 430d timing chain snapped, I genuinely thought the car was gone after bmw quoted me £14,000, I phoned Gary at tdmotors just based on his reviews. He picked my car up the day after and had it repaired and back on the road the very same week at a fraction of the price. He has also told me any issues get straight back to him. These lads are proper mechanics and I will be taking my car for servicing to them, they now have a new customer in me.

100% I recommend. Dropped car off at 8:00AM and it was ready by 13:30PM (change timing chain, clucht kit, dual mass flywheel ). Thank you guys I will recommend yourselves to people I know and I will definitely come back to you for more work.

Can not thank these guys enough, Not only do they do a fantastic job of any repairs, but they never over charge too. My battery was flat yesterday and they ordered me a new battery same day and fitted it the very next morning. Didn't Rio me off with price for the battery and was cheaper than Halfords. As a tradesman it's important to have the van running all year and these guys order parts and book you in straight away, busy periods might wait a few days but well worth it. To briefly summarise this I've owned a 30 year old rally car for 4 years that started off in a very sorry state. I've had lots of work done on it but one ongoing issue with the superstrut suspension continued to outwhit all who looked at it and the members on the owners forum. Needless to say Nash and Daz managed to identify said issue and utilise some old parts that I'd stored to make everything work 100% I now have no codunk💥clang💥 or bang💥thanks a lot lads your absolute legends 👏 5 stars from me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️proper made up!🥳car drives and feels amazing!😍🤌

Steve on desk was welcoming and got me booked in sharpish for a full/major service for a very fair price. Vehicle back same day, no messing around or trying to tell me i needed items which i didn't. Highly recommend for anyone in Ashton area.

This was my first time at Cross Garage booking full service and MOT. The gentleman at the reception was very pleasant and helpful. Dropped and collected on the same day. Though advisory on my tyres, they didn't call to charge me extra for things that didn't need doing like some garage I have used before. Reasonable price and good service. I will recommend Cross Garage to my friends and family and will always be using myself.

I went to Master MOT and service garage for full service and MOT. My car failed the MOT but they offered to order the parts needed and fix my car. They have done an excellent job. During fixing my car, they have sent me pictures of everything and videos of what all they have fixed. The car was even dropped off to my house as I was working and could not pick it up. Definitely will come back next year.
