Lovely place with friendly service. The food we ordered took a bit longer, but was worth the wait. Delicious chips and freshly cooked.
Went here this afternoon for the first time with my daughter and met my son and his girlfriend. We all had a very enjoyable afternoon. The pub had a good vibe and live singer outside added to a great atmosphere. Myself and my daughter had a ploughman's to share and it has to be one of the best ploughman's I have ever had, loads on it and all well presented and delicious. My son and his girlfriend had lamb shank cottage pie which was equally good. Very good value, lovely pub and will definitely be back, highly recommend.
First time visiting, messaged regarding vegetarian options answered straight away so off we went. Pub is lovely staff friendly , food cooked fresh to order, our Son had vegetarian option was best meatball and spaghetti he's ever had anywhere, I had Mussels, husband had Lamb shank shepherds pie, wow!, all delicious and again best pub meal ever. Highly recommend visiting, will definitely go again.
Just had Saturday lunch. Sausage mash and peas with mint gravy potion was plentiful sausages divine and mint gravy just set it off. Service was no trouble as we sat outside watching the boats. Very pleasant. Had the Roast on a Sunday which is also good and all food great value for money
