I have been a client of Fiona's for a few years now. No one can honestly say they have had a bad experience. She is very knowledgeable about afro hair, natural or chemically treated. To add she is constantly keeping up to date with what will make her customers hair thrive. I now do the Keratin texture release treatment as I transition to natural and I will literally track Fiona down if she changes location. Had a steam treatment this week. Fantastic, hair looks like I just did a keratin treatment again. She is just fantastic.

I have been getting my hair done by Fiona for a couple of years now, After relaxing my hair for years Fiona has helped with the process of getting it back to its natural state and she has done a amazing job, everytime I visit always a warm welcome lovely lady keep up the good work xx

The Hair Sanctuary... What a Gem! Fiona's hairdressing skills are magical, her friendly approach, professional advice, treatments and attention to detail are exceptional. Been going to The Hair Sanctuary for over 5 years. Fiona came to my rescue when another hairdresser had botched my hair up for my wedding day! Fiona was brilliant sorted it all out for me and I have never looked back! I have had weaves, different colours and all sorts! Currently got a lovely short haircut! Would highly recommend and Fiona always looks after her clients! Wouldn't go anywhere else! Fab service and she is an amazing hairdresser!!

This is my favourite store for extensions. Oh my goodness the lovely gentleman behind the counter on the wigs section was sooooo helpful. I cannot sing his praises enough. I swear, I will not go anywhere else! Well stocked and reasonably priced too. Thank you so much for your excellent customer service.

Had my hair coloured (balayage) by Monika in prep for my wedding that was in a couple of weeks from then. I travelled a bit far for it but the ratings were so high, I figured it was worth it, and it was!! She managed to fix a very red colouring a previous salon did on my hair, and then made it even more beautiful. She also did an amazing job at some curls as I told her I was attending a friend's wedding that night and thy curls were so soft yet stayed in shape all through the night. She's super friendly and her little salon is very clean. Monika is simply an expert 😁

Honestly one of the best hair cut and colours I've had. Really lovely set-up and atmosphere. So professional but really friendly. Competitive pricing compared to some of the bigger salons around that are no where near as good! Will definitely be back and would 100% recommend!

After many years of having extensions in my hair, I decided it was time for a change. My daughter had recently visited Jed Techniques, leaving with amazing results. It was lovely to go back to my original hairdressers from all those years ago, family vibes. Denise and her staff are amazing. It was really nice to see some old faces and new ones. Went in for the first time and was met with Dominik and Jacob, both absolute sweethearts. Dominik was phenomenal, he was kind and patient when explaining what hairstyle would suit me best - exactly what you want from your hairdresser. I have short hair and usually it's hard to get right, but he made it look fantastic!! Couldn't be happier, I'm happy to see a hairdresser who cuts your hair with so much detail, like they're cutting their own. Jacob was a sweetheart as well, he washed my hair delicately and we had a great chat. Looking forward to coming back and seeing these two!

1st time visiting Boombae Salon and I am absolutely going back! The salon has a unique, fun vibe with a cool comic-book aesthetic. It's a feminine space with a modern twist, welcoming everyone. I got a shampoo, haircut, and blow-dry for just £55, which was an incredible deal for the quality of service I received. Cydney was amazing—she was kind, knowledgeable, and really took the time to make sure I loved my new look. And my hair are truly curly! I’m absolutely in love with my haircut! She also made our conversation enjoyable, and I felt completely at ease the entire time. Highly recommend!

EDIT: I have been back a couple of times since my last review. This time i had classic lashes done by Catherine (not infills). I cant stress enough how great she is at what she does! My lashes have lasted for 3/4 weeks! Definitely worth the price and i always enjoy coming here as she is very accommodating! Had infills done for the first time here, and i am very happy with the way Catherine blended in the lashes with the previous ones i had done elsewhere out of Manchester. She fitted me in despite being busy, and im very grateful! Will definitely be back!

I come here religiously every week to get my hair washed I used to have a drive to Liverpool as I’m so fussy but the team at house it Vanity are by far the best at blow dries in Manchester!!! .. the staff are always so welcoming an always go out their way to accommodate me which I’m really grateful! I had my hair styled by Jayson for my prom, he was lovely, chatty and welcoming would definitely recommend. certainly knows his craft, was very quick couldn’t be happier with the end result gave expert tips on how to keep it in tact all night! would highly recommend and will definitely be returning soon!

Lovely salon. I'd been looking for a salon specialising in short, curly hair post chemotherapy. Victoria always asks how I am managing my hairstyle and explains how she is going to cut it before proceeding with the haircut. She then shows how to style it at the end. The stylists here wash your hair, colour it and cut it so you have 1 person looking after you from start to finish. The mints with the coffee are also lovely! This place has been a great find! 08/09 Another precision cut again today. Such beautiful shaping - I particularly love the back. Thank you Victoria! 15/02 I am still thrilled with my hair. I decided to go curly just before Christmas and Victoria listened to my requirements and did a fabulous job yet again. I am really looking forward to my next visit to the salon. I'm just back from Melissa Timperley. Read my review here. My visit to the salon is always such a lovely experience. The staff are all lovely and the atmosphere is so relaxing. My last two visits I had my hair cut and coloured by Hamish… an absolute genius with the scissors! I have never seen anyone cut a fringe like he does. I always leave the salon loving my cut and colour when Hamish has done it. He fully takes the time to listen to exactly what i want and takes it step by step to keep checking that im happy with the progress. I really appreciate that he spends time with my fringe to get it just right as not many people have done it exactly how i want it…. extremely talented Stylist! Julee

This was my first time at Melissa Timperly, and my stylist Megan was brilliant. She was so lovely to chat with and did an outstanding job with my hair. I hadn’t had my hair coloured in years, and I wanted something that would be easy to maintain and blend naturally with my own colour, and she was spot on. I also went for a big change with a much shorter cut. I’m always a bit nervous about finding the right hairdresser because my hair has a mix of curl textures, but Megan handled them beautifully. I’m thrilled with my new cut and colour—absolutely loving it! I’ll definitely be coming back here for my next haircut. Thanks Megan!
