Caitlin is a thoughtful, organized, knowledgeable and experienced wedding and event planner. We had a fantastic and enjoyable experience working with her and our wedding was perfectly planned and executed ! Can’t recommend Gray Weddings & Events enough!

We had Caitlin for the month leading up to our wedding day. She was very well organized as a wedding / event planner should be. She’s an excellent multitasker and stayed positive throughout the whole planning process. She is great with managing time and everything stayed right on track day of wedding. Her and her mother, Susan (assistant) were a huge help in setting up morning of along with checking in on wedding parties and juggling all the vendors. We couldn’t have asked for a better Coordinator to help with our day and we definitely could not have done it all without her. Thank you so much, Caitlin! It was a day we will never forget and we are lucky to have had you be a part of it.

Caitlin was a huge help both leading up to my wedding and on the day of. She was very organized, professional and supportive through it all. Caitlin was extremely patient with me and helped me to make informed decisions about the logistics, schedule, decor, etc. There were a few last minute issues that came up (out of our control) and Caitlin was able to stickhandle them without me even knowing about it until after. I highly recommend her services, just knowing she was on top of everything allowed not just me but also my family and bridal party to relax and enjoy the day. They day truly would not have been the same without her.

Caitlin is amazing! She went above and beyond for our wedding. I honestly don't know what we would have done without her. Our original wedding date was set for 2020 but we rescheduled 4 times due to COVID (had our wedding May 2022). Caitlin was there the entire time even though we booked her as a month of coordinator and not a full-out planner. She made sure to stay in touch over those two years. She made sure we weren't worried and stayed exciting for our day to finally arrive. She coordinated with our vendors and made sure everyone knew what to do and when. She made a super detailed day-of schedule that pretty much every vendor loved. I'm a details person so I knew I needed someone to take the stress off me on the wedding day. Caitlin was my girl. I knew I didn't have to worry with her around. Not only is she great at her job, she's a lovely person. I am so happy we got to meet her. She has such a sunny disposition that you can't help but be excited when she's around. When we first talked about hiring a day-of/month-of coordinator, we weren't sure if we wanted to add it to our budget. Knowing what we know now, Caitlin is worth every penny and then some. We cannot sing her praises enough. If we could give her more than 5/5 stars, we would. We would happy recommend her to anyone and everyone.

I recently attended a family wedding at Crossley House in Halifax, and it was a truly beautiful experience. The location is stunning, with well-maintained grounds that added to the elegance of the day. The venue exudes a high-class atmosphere, making it perfect for special occasions. Crossley House in Halifax is the perfect wedding venue. The historic charm, elegant ballrooms, and beautiful gardens created a stunning backdrop. The staff were fantastic, handling everything smoothly, and our guests appreciated the convenient location and parking. What a wonderful place.

First I would like to say a very big THANK YOU to all the staff at Bertie’s. The venue was perfect, 80 people attended my wife’s celebration of life. The staff at Bertie’s couldn’t have been more helpful, Katie, (the manager)was wonderful, her organisation of the event was first class. The chef did me very proud, a perfect selection of hot and cold food, with a desert and Cheese board. Also Bertie’s supplied tea and coffee. I would recommend this venue to anyone wanting a FIRST CLASS venue!

I would like to say a BIG thankyou to the Berties staff for the hire of the Cocktail Lounge on Saturday 13th May 2023 For my 60th Birthday Tea Party. 58 girl's in their 50's style outfit's. I organised my mums surprise 50th birthday celebration here and it went perfect. The venue is beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had the crystal ballroom and it was great, we also hired the food and dj with the Berties and they did a fantastic job too. Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience, my mum absolutely loved it. X

We wanted a celebration of life party which ended up as a surprise Wedding. Katie, Emma and the team at Bertie's were just so helpful and compassionate at every stage of the party organising process. The room looked amazing, the food was great, can recommend highly enough. Thank you!

Wow! What a fabulous wedding for my Daughter and son in law. The service from start to finish was faultless. The day was amazing and the team absolutely made it run so smoothly. The food was excellent. The venue beautiful and all the changes in between were made without the guests even noticing. Thank you to all the team at the Arches. Went here for our works Christmas party. The venue itself has lovely decor, the DJ got us in the Christmas spirit, and the band was brilliant and played all kinds of music. The staff were friendly and met all our needs. The only downfall was the food. The portions were quite small, and a few of us still felt hungery afterwards. The Christmas dinner could have had more potatoes (we got two) and pigs in blankets (we got one)

Wow! This venue is amazing. I have photographed a few weddings at The Arches and love it. The building has a lot of character and can be styled to suit. The staff are so friendly and caring, and have always been so helpful. The food is delicious! The staff went out of their way to sort me a vegan meal out last minute after I stepped into cover another wedding photographer. From a photography point of view - the building itself has huge windows - letting in loads of natural light, and there's plenty of space for indoor photographs. There's also some great spots nearby for some characterful, industrial, urban photographs. There's some special unique features - like where the couple are able to cut their cake in one of the old window frames. I can't wait to come back soon!

We recently held the Old Crossleyans RUFC Centenary Gala Dinner at the wonderful Arches and it was the best decision to hold the event at this beautiful venue. As well as the actual venue being amazing all the team gave fantastic service and support. From the initial engagement with Jamie and booking the event, to liaising with Kat pretty much delay in the run up to it (who was an absolute Godsend with her can do style and organising skills), to Sam for his calm and helpful presence and also the lovely Jack who both couldn’t do enough for us on the day/night as well as the waiting and bar staff who were so quick, efficient and all really smiley and friendly. There was lots of really positive feedback about the food - tasty, hot and plenty of it. We hired a brilliant band who came over from Warrington called the Stereobats and also had a fabulous singer called Julie Diamond who is local. All in all everything about the venue was over and above what I expected. Thanks again to the team!
