Another amazing dinner, prepared and cooked by Alan at a private house. He and his 2 staff were meticulous in their preparation and delivery of our menu, along with a few surprise extras (which were equally deliciously!). We arranged the wine flight through Alan too and that didn't disappoint either. No need to clean up afterwards as that is all taken care of by Alan and his team: kitchen left spic and span which allows you to simply sit back and enjoy the evening. Will definitely be booking again - thank you Alan, Lauren and Lulu.

I booked Alan to cook dinner for my 10 year anniversary after having him recommended to me by my sister in law. My husband and I have been lucky enough to visit some absolutely incredible Michelin star restaurants for various celebrations over the years and we really appreciate good food. After choosing the menu from Alan’s seasonal selection on his website, I was really excited for what he would prepare for us. I think it’s fair to say though that he surpassed our expectations on every course and every level. We were not only given the four courses I had chosen but we were also treated to canapés, snacks, a pre dessert and several other surprises during the night. Alan himself is a delight and kept us laughing and smiling throughout the evening as we talked through each course and swapped stories of the restaurants we’d all been to over the years. When we finished dinner, our kitchen was spotless (potentially even cleaner than when he arrived!). We even found ourselves already looking for any excuse to book Alan again! Absolutely excellent.

Lunch for 14 friends and family for my 60 birthday was a great event and enjoyed by all. Excellent food both in taste and presentation, from canapes through to dessert. Vegetarian and those allergic to shell fish fully catered for and didn't feel their food was lacking in anyway. We chose to pair the wine which complimented the food well. This is the second time Alan has cooked for us and our expectations were surpassed.

I would highly recommend Day By Alan! My family and I had the perfect night. The food and service were spectacular and faultless, everything was dreamy! An extra bonus was that Alan and his team were so friendly and helpful not to mention the obvious that they are very talented. We contacted Becky at Your Beautiful Day to dress the venue for our wedding at the Barnyard. We went to meet her and ran through some ideas. When we arrived at the venue and saw it for the first time after Beckys team had dressed the venue, it was absolutely beautiful. They did an exceptional job and we would both like to thank you for everything. We highly recommend them.

We had Your Beautiful Day decorate our wedding venue for our big day in September and we are incredibly happy that we did! Becky and Hannah worked with us to create the perfect set up for it all. Our theme was not a typical one (oscars theme) at all and some suppliers we told about our theme turned their noses up at it but Becky certainly didn't, she did whatever she could to make it something big! Our end result was so worth the wait, we LOVED it! The centrepieces were so awesome and just what we wanted, gold table cloths made it amazingly glam and the balloon ceiling decorations just topped it all off! If you're looking for someone to decorate your event and capture the essence that you aren't even sure you want, then Your Beautiful Day are definitely the ones to go to!

Becky was fantastic from start to finish! She was helpful in advising what styling would look good for my venue (which I really appreciated!), and she was friendly and professional throughout. I really felt in safe hands. Knowing Becky was coming to decorate the venue so beautifully (and take everything away again at the end of the night) took such a huge chunk of stress away from me and I can't recommend her highly enough! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. 5 stars doesn't feel enough. Our venue was absolutely transformed by Becky with beautiful flower displays. Becky listened to exactly what we wanted and nothing was too much trouble. She even sent us flowers in the post ahead of our wedding so we could use them to decorate our wedding cake. All the flowers were arranged perfectly and we had so many compliments about the decor. Thank you so much!
